Can relate to the 4th pix. I was boiling egg and forgot. I went to the Pharmacy, then while waiting on the payment que, I remembered I didn't swith off the gas. Ol boy! I ran faster than my legs could carry me that day o! I don't know how I managed to cross the road that day. I think I must have jumped over several cars. in split seconds I was home. Merely standing by the door, I started coughing due to thick smoke diffusing from the kitchen.

The smell of burnt out pot was everywhere! I fumbled with the key twice and couldn't open the door out of panic. Then just by impulse and frustration, I kicked the door very violently, calmed down & inserted the keys again, a little twist and the door flung open. Then the smoke welcomed me.

Mistakes like these can cause devastating damages. I was just thinking "what if I set the house ablaze just because of N200 egg"? Where I go start from?

Meeeeehn that day, I learnt to always check everything in the house including the tap twice before leaving.

This reminds me of a day I went for lectures. I was still in my villa when my friend called me and informed me that a lecturer was already in class to conduct his test

I quickly put on my clothes and dashed to school with the speed of light forgetting I was warming my stew. During the test, I started receiving numerous calls from a particular lady in my villa and that was when I knew something was wrong.

After the test, I called her and she told me the smoke that emanated from my room almost set the villa on fire as I forgot to switch off my gas cooker which led to breaking of my door

On getting to my room, both the pot and the stew don turn popcorn oooo.. Wetin come pain me pass be say I just cook the stew and assorted ingredients yapa for inside

And she for do am, things people do for love. I dated the guy for 4 yrs, she came into the picture on our 4th year, though, it was a distance relationship for like 3yrs. I can never fight over a man, perhaps she felt she found prince charming she was protecting.

True!. That was how one silly girl thought she was dragging boyfriend with me. She told the dude she'd pour acid on me if she sees me, the moment I read that chat I knew what to do, I quietly stopped all communication with the dude, and he didn't know I saw the chat. Shebi when he was done with her he ended the relationship, now he's begging me for common friendship but there's a limit to what I'd do with an ex. Asked him about the girl and told him about the chat I saw, he claimed she didn't mean it but trust Akwa Ibom girls, that isn't beyond what she could do. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. BTW, the dude was my first love.

Funny enough there's no church in heaven. However there are some reasons why some of these churches don't allow marriage outside their church. They include
1. The fear of loosing members to another church
2.To be able to resolve conflict easily if members marry from within
3.Members might be polluted to strange doctrines.
These points have no scriptural backing as the church is one and Jesus the head of the church.

Some of your stories are false, misleading or fishy. Many things don't just add up. I also attend RCCG but my parents and siblings (most of whom are now married in that church now) still attend Deeperlife.
Deeperlife has the strictest and most formal marriage process in any church in Nigeria. They introduced medical tests before other churches recently started following suit.
There are other formalities in Deeperlife wedding, that includes at least six months mandatory courtship during which couples are expected to maintain strict decorum. Precisely, you shouldn't "sample" each other, not even inappropriate touching. Also, you're expected to report periodically to a marriage committee who will advise and guide you throughout the courtship.
Ask your friend if he has complied accordingly. I'm certain DLBC marry out their daughters to other churches. But you have to do it as they do it. If he has played by the rules, there's nothing stopping him from asking the church why he's being delayed. This is why I said your post is fishy.

You are right dear .I attend RCCG too but have seen a female friend who attends deeper life trying to get married to a Redeem brother it wasn't easy at all....
Most pastor now see church as a competition while they have forgotten the sole aim of CHURCH

God speaks to those who are truly close to him irrespective of position and power.

But sometimes it's better you let them make their mistakes so that they can learn from it and together mould it.

Inter-denomintational weddings take place in the RCCG weekly. It is as easy as ABC, so long your family are in the know.

Regardless, I see no reason why church wedding should be prioritised. It was never a practice in the Scriptures and was never taught.

Lol, I could remember my boyfriend telling me I have a stone heart. It's not true sha, I just act too uninterested and it got him worrying if I truly loved him or not. Na me love pass sef, I just conceal my feelings 'cause it's one of my weak points in relationships.
