What do I do on Nairaland that I won't do offline? Well, I definitely won't keep silent offline when I am abused, that's for sure. However, one has to learn to exercise restraint even in the face of provocation because if we are to react to everything both on and offline, the society will explode.

Simple. It is a man's world. If a lady sleeps with ten men, she is a ho, if a man does the same, he is a player. There is a certain code of conduct laid down by nature which women must follow; a certain kind of behaviour expected from us.

These things were designed by God and no matter how we strive and struggle to break free of this kind of 'streamlining', the system will always be there for the simple reason that it was designed that way by a higher force.

Please, take note: you are missing the point. Yes, you are. Pmb has been gunning for the presidency since 2003. He has been a head of state in the past, though as a military dictator. Pmb won the election in March....now, that's two months before swearing in, yet he's still not sure of what to do. So on what premise did he run his campaign, making all the promises? If he didn't have it all figured out before now, why did he run for the post? Abi we dey do try your luck?

I criticized his choice as apc candidate because I never believed he's capable, given his inability to achieve anything of note since leaving office in 1985. You cant transform a whole nation when u can't improve yourself.

From all indications, apc used propaganda and blatant lies to deceive the people. Now, that's not to say that pdp and gej were the best. They were not. We needed change, but true change. One would expect the so called progressives to have a blue print of what type of government to run. But here we are, with nothing to show after one week. It is appalling and I blame Nigerians for always bringing in tribalism and religion into our politics. Buhari is running an opportunistic government.

We needed true change. A fashola, a Duke, an atiku, an obi, or a tambuwal would have been a great idea. Buhari lacks enough smarts to rule a 21st century Nigeria. All the same, we all need to support him, now that he's our president. He needs our prayers. He needs our collective goodwill. He can't do it alone. Together, we will succeed.
