My Deutschland story grin wink

Admission letter June 8
Interview. Sept 13
AM mail. Oct 12
Visa. Oct 26

I no know where to even start the story sef shocked
But make i thank the big Oga dem Honourableseyi, Futurewise, Eke40seven, Mrbigman, Jigba and all weh I read their post weh contribute to my story.

One thing I learnt all along is taking all you need up to yourself. Never sit back and relax for embassy to do your desires. Keep mailing and calling to know the status of things.

When I applied for appointment in June, I wasn't given an appointment and I kept mailing only for them to reply after two weeks that they never got my first booking mail. Meanwhile all the reminders I sent has the initial mail as reference.

For the newbies on the thread. Spend time to read through part3 and enjoy smooth ride.

In all it's an happy end! Hustle with all strength and let God direct the rest for u. I can't thank him enough!

Cheers people!

Someone not resident in Germany can not give you a sponsorship letter.

You can apply for scholarships.
You can also try your hands on some jobs and save up not minding how long this can take you...there are some guys here who finally got their German dream after 2yrs of hustle.

Just keep the hope alive brother!

Cheers

English is not your native language if you're Nigerian!
Send a mail to your course coordinator to verify if you meet the language requirements since you had your studies in an English speaking country.

lolokike:
An adequate knowledge of the English language; for students whose native language or language of instruction is not English, this must be demonstrated by a recognized language test (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS)

This is sxtracted from my university requirements.

since englisH is my native language.....is it safe to say i dont need TOEFL or IELTS??
Travel / Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 4 by Touchflex(m): 7:30pm On Sep 24, 2017
You'll need 100L university transcript, your waec, maybe ielts if your choice universities demand for it and maybe German language certificate of say B2...all depends on the universities of your choice.

Start your search here

Question Please. I know this has been asked before but i need clarifications.

Someone recommended axa mansard, so i checked and I'm seeing N19,575.30k for the General Travel Insurance, is this the right one?

Current visa fee now #27000

Interview was quite brief maybe because I was the second applicant to be interviewed for long term visa

Do you speak German?
How long?
Your school and course?
Why Germany?
Why your course?
Why not Nigeria?
Why not US, UK or any other English speaking country?
What do you know about Germany?
Countries sharing boundaries with Germany?
German states?
German Chancellor? Party?
President? Party?
Who's your sponsor?
Where he works?
Monthly income?
Course structure?
Plans after studies?

Thanking God for a successful interview!
Best wishes to all awaiting AM mail and all admission hopeful.

Blessup

Hello, is there any concern for not having first school leaving certificate? If one has the first school leaving certificate testimonial but with a change in first name while the surname and middle are still same, can this suffice?

Also can I get prepaid courier mail around 6:30am of the interview day?

Will the passport guys be around that time too?
Thanks

Honoursbleseyi, what's the least amount of time should one expect AM mail if he funded before interview with funding confirmation.

My dear I'll advice you confirm if defering is possible first before cancelling your interview except if it's barely a week to your interview already as it was instructed.

Meanwhile, you can try sourcing for loan in which case God can help you through.

Part4 properly in! Grateful to almighty as testimonies will be registered here in great number!

lequatee:
Attn! hadassaheke, honourableseyi, eke40seven.

hello house,
I have been in a fix for a while now. I have been given a date for my visa interview by the embassy but I'm afraid I won't be able to get the required funds until much later this year.

I am thinking of deferring my admission (very sad and painful) till next winter but I am yet to talk to my school about it . Now, can I mail the embassy to inform them to cancel my appointment because I want to defer my admission without it having any negative impact on my future eligibility? Attending the interview for the fun of it will cost me quite a lot and I will be under pressure to fund from the embassy which will eventually lead to "denial".

In a nut shell, if I am to defer the admission, what steps do you advise I take. kindly respond because I need to act now!

@hadassaheke, I don't know if you've had a similar experience.

Send to an office in abuja where u can pick it up! They might seldom reject the church idea. I did same and got mine

Cheers

dprinz99:

Thanks
That's a nice idea
Can it be a personal postal address ?
I stay in abuja and I wouldn't mind if it would be sent go mie
Or what about a church postal address ?
Still here on Nigeria?
I have an access to catholic church postal adress here in abuja and I think I can also pick it up from there.
Assuming the above conditions are acceptable ,how about the delay in our postal services?(NIPOST)how fast will I be able to get it?
Thanks

Request enrolment deadline extension note from your school and take it along with you to the interview to avoid refusal...this should be a safety precaution my dear!

Cheers

LolahJ:
Hello people. I must first commend how helping one another isn't such a big deal on this platform, that's rare and very well appreciated... as you're bout helping with mine grin

Got admitted to study Aviation management in Wildau Institute of technology(yes, different from courses and schools I read here + I'm paying big) cry, blocked account with Fintiba sorted in about 48hrs(funding going on in bits), visa interview date immediately requested, got August 10th.

My questions.
1) In a case where my block account hasn't been completely funded on interview day, what is a suitable answer when asked by the visa officer about funding?
2) Date boldly written on my admission letter as programme start date is September 1st(this is only 3weeks from interview date) but lectures starts Oct 9th, 2017.
I'd like to know if I'm at risk of visa refusal.
I read earlier of someone that was refused because there isn't enough time for visa processing.

Thanks in advance wink
