With the way things are going, married ladies might later be exempted from taking part in NYSC in order to curb the level of immoralities that happen in most NYSC camps. Like the recent case involving a married lady and some guys at the lagos camp. Imagine, the guys sleeping with a married woman and less bothered about the consequences? The world is indeed getting worse by the day.

And according to lady who just finished her youth service, its a normal thing among some married ladies serving. Such ladies are a disgrace to women. Whether married or single. And there are female students who prefer to go for their youth service first before getting married, guess due to this same reason. Cos, many of them don't trust themselves and don't know if they can overcome the temptations they are bound to face in NYSC camps. Many of them have taken NYSC as a means to enough fun and sex romps.

There is no reason for a lady to commit adultery anywhere, anyday, anytime. Morally and spiritually its wrong.

What I decipher and conclude from Obasanjo's book and writings is that he is a man who listens to gossips and rumors flying around him. Most of the contents of his book were more of hearsay from people who ran to him with fabricated stories of perceived enemies, opponents and even friends of the the former president in order to curry favour and be in his good books. These stories were meant to boost his ego and he fell for them accepting them as true facts. Obasanjo should address economic, social and political issues which are the outcome of his knowledge and experience as former head of state. He should address the various unsolved murders that took place during his tenure especially that of his Minister for Power chief Bola Ige. We want to know his response to the corruption in the Petroleum sector during his tenure and how he became a multi billionaire just after eight years on the seat of power. Anything short of these issues is a complete waste of time.

I want to believe he still has more secrets to reveal knowing the kind of person he is.

Maybe he does not want to reveal his joker yet.

Yar’Adau’s daughters were famous for marrying big political figures, mostly governors. Ribadu, an assistant inspector general of police, was removed as EFCC chairman, demoted to the rank of deputy commissioner of police and eventually dismissed after a face-off with Yar’Adua. It was generally believed then that Ribadu’s refusal to terminate the corruption trial of James Ibori, former governor of Delta state and Yar’Adua’s close ally, was responsible for his travails. While not dismissing the link, Obasanjo has also suggested that Ribadu’s refusal to marry Yar’Adua’s daughter could have contributed to his maltreatment by the former president who died in 2010. He also wrote in “My Watch”, his three-volume memoirs launched on Tuesday,  that Tanimu Yakubu Kurfi, thought to be the most powerful man in Yar’Adua’s government, had a fall-out with Ribadu over a woman who was said to be more interested in the former EFCC chairman. Obasanjo  further alleged that Babagana Kingibe had a personal fall-out with Nasir el-Rufai over the infidelity of one of Kingibe’s wives. The retired general wrote: “It was revealed, for instance, that Tanimu’s main reason for wanting to fight Nuhu to a standstill was the allegation that a woman he was interested in marrying was showing more interest in Nuhu! I understand that Tanimu, in the end, married the lady, and I wondered if that would be the end of the war of attrition against Nuhu. “This was about the same time that Umaru encouraged Nuhu to marry one of his daughters, an idea which Nuhu spurned. Could that have been partly responsible for Umaru’s fury? “The Kingibe case as revealed is quite similar to Tanimu’s, as a woman is at the centre of it also. Nasir el-Rufai was accused of knowingly harbouring a boyfriend of one of Kingibe’s wives in his guest house, where this wife and her boyfriend would meet. “If Nasir chose to make his house available to his friend out of hospitality, one wonders if he could also determine which guest, male or female, his friend would receive. It would have been a different case if Nasir himself was accused of dating Kingibe’s wife!” Obasanjo further narrated how he was “blacked out” of Yar’Adua’s government at the instance of a “cabal”. The former head of state revealed that a very close friend of the Villa and a member of Yar’Adua’s inner circle, a minister from Katsina, spent two nights in his house in Abeokuta after Yar’Adua’s death. “What he told me, which may or may not have been true, was astounding, and for me another good lesson. It was sickening how Tanimu and Kingibe used government instruments at their disposal to settle personal scores. “At first, it was the same men now in the corridors of power, like Tanimu Yakubu Kurfi and Baba Kingibe, who suddenly remembered ‘the evil’ I had done them in the past, which they wanted to avenge. For Tanimu, whom I appointed Managing Director of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria on the recommendation of then Governor Umaru Yar’Adua, my offence was that I did not appoint him to run and handle the Yar’Adua Presidential Campaign and manage the campaign fund. From what I had seen of his performance at the Federal Mortgage Bank, I would not have made or allowed such an appointment. “For Baba Kingibe his grouse, I came to hear, was that I had advised Umaru Yar’Adua to consider the background of the man he was proposing to appoint as the secretary to the government of the federation. Baba was rejected by the government of Cameroon, at one time, when he was proposed as Nigerian Ambassador; and when Shehu Yar’Adua and I were in Kirikiri Prison, Shehu did not have any good thing to say about Baba Kingibe. “Umaru Yar’Adua told Tanimu Yakubu Kurfi and Baba Kingibe my impression of them and they went up in arms, aided and supported by two governors – Bukola Saraki and James Ibori – for their own personal and selfish reasons. There were other men and women who played supporting roles. I was neither worried nor have apologies for my views and impressions, which are well grounded in evidence.” Obasanjo said Yar’Adua later sacked Kingibe when “overambition was noticed by his boss” at a time ill-health was taking its toll on the late president’s work. With Yar’Adua’s health getting worse, intrigues ensured and members of the “cabal” went after anyone they perceived as close to Obasanjo, including the VP, Goodluck Jonathan, who was starved of information and access to the president. Obasanjo wrote: “Tanimu confided in his friend, saying that they all realised that it was only a matter of time; the centre would not hold. Everybody then decided to make money for themselves before the centre collapsed; and they did so while the No. 2 man in government knew little or nothing about what was going on. “He was kept in the dark. Government had been privatised by the cabal. For the whole of this period, the vice president could not chair a cabinet meeting, and he did not know how long the president would be away. During my administration, my VP chaired cabinet meetings any Wednesday that I was not physically in Abuja; and why not, after all if anything serious happened to me the VP should take over automatically. “In this case, however, Yar’Adua’s VP was not even briefed of the president travelling out of the country. He was starved of funds for the maintenance of his office and residence and, in fact, unimaginably, was later called in to see the dead body of the president on his death bed. I know the plight of the VP because, on a few occasions, I had to encourage him to bear it by being patient.”

We make so much criticism about our goverment, but fail to look at brighter sides where things are working, but were formally moriburn. Last weekend, while relaxing in my flat, I suddenly heard people screaming, "fire! fire! fire". I looked out of my window I saw fire gushing out of a two storey's roof. Trust lagos boys na, they started fetching water to quench the fire, but they complain that the particular flat was electric shocking. I reach out to my phone and dialed 112 emergency number, in secounds a lady picked up the call, i gave her my story, fire! she collected my details; name, address, i gave her. she now asked of the address of the resident on fire, I gave her. Would you believe in about 15 minutes fire fighters arrived with their siren blasting, and assisted in quenching the already spreading fire. I was like wow! in this country?

How Do I Stay a Virgin Until Marriage?

Many young people make the commitment to wait for sex until marriage or at least until a special relationship for a variety of reasons, but remarkably few actually make it, despite their best intentions. Approximately 80% of people have had sex by the time they graduate from high school, and more than 95% lose their virginity before they get married.

I married at 24.5, and my wife was 21.5 years old. We were both virgins until the day we got married—so yes, it is possible, and worth it. I believe that had either or both of us not been virgin prior to marriage itwould have been that much more difficult to abstain from sex until marriage (it was difficult enough as it was), because once you know what it feels like, and you know the right buttons to push, and you have overcome some of the initial tentativeness and natural inhibition that protects you, the drive and facility to make it a sexual relationship becomes that much more powerful.

After we were engaged, my wife and I had to set up rules for ourselves to make sure we made it, and I am glad we did.
After we were engaged, and the longer we were engaged the more powerful the sex drive became. I was happy when we finally did get married because for about 2 months before our wedding date thinking about sex became that much more real and it felt like the sexual attraction grew more intense the closer we got.To make it to that point in my life as a virgin I had to set up some guidelines for myself, and after we were engaged, my wife and I had to set up rules for ourselves to make sure we made it, and I am glad we did.

If you are a virgin and would like to remain that way until marriageor until you feel like you have met the right person I do have some tips that helped me avoid crossing that line before I was ready. These tips are written with teenagers in mind, but with some modifications would apply equally well to the more mature crowd and to those who may not be virgin, but would like to avoid getting too physically involved too soon.

Principle #1: Avoid situations in which sexual activity is possible & likely

1)Avoid having a steady relationship while you are young. Date a lot of different people, but don’t become too tied down to any one before you are ready to deal with the consequences of a serious committed relationship and before you are ready to explore the possibility of a permanent relationship. The longer you are paired off with just one person, the more comfortable you will become and the stronger the physical attraction will become. You will also be presented more opportunities to cross boundaries that you didn’t initially want to cross. I used to try to follow the rule about not going out with the same person more than twice in a row.

When you are getting into a serious relationship you should also ask yourself a few key questions:
*.Is this the kind of person I can see myself with for the rest of my life?
*.Is this the kind of person I think would be a good parent for my children and a good companion for me?
*.Am I ready to settle down and commit to just one person?

If you are ambivalent about the answers to these questions you should probably avoid getting too seriously involved at this point in time.
When you are young, becoming exclusively involved with just one person has additional drawbacks. While it is nice to always have somebody to go out with, it gives some security, and facilitates becoming more emotionally and physically involved, it also limits your opportunities to get to know other people. It also creates a lot of extra unnecessary drama because you will in most cases end up breaking up, find yourself wanting to get to know other people, be confronted with jealousy and variety of other relationship traumas.I used to follow thetwo date rule.
I wouldn’t go on a date with the same girl more than twice in a row until I had gone out with a different girl. It made for great fun in my dating life and I got to know a lot of really great people that I wouldn’t have known as well if I had been tied to just one girl.

2) In general, don't make a habit of hanging out at other people's houses when there are no adults around.Seeking to avoid adult supervision is usually a sign of trouble.

3) Don't make a regular habit of trying to be secluded from everyone else. You are much more likely to cross the line when you are all alone in a place whereit is unlikely that somebody might see you.

4) Never go into a bedroom together,especially if you are alone. Stay out of his and he should stay out of yours. Just like number 3, you are much more likely to start fooling around when you are alone somewhere private. If you start fooling around it won’t be long before you are pushing the boundaries further and further.

5) Date in groups and try to avoid being alone too much.

6)Make sure the groups you are with share your standards. While peer pressure can lead you to do things you don’t want to, it can also be protective. If you have friends with high standards they will help you avoid and overcome difficult situations.

7) Stick to a curfew. Whoever said nothing good happens after midnight was right. The more tired youare the less well your brain functions, and it is not uncommon to run out of “other things” to do late at night.

Always let your parents know where you are at and who you are with. Also let your parents meet the people you hang out withand bring them around the house often. I know it seems like parents are the enemy, but they have been around the block a few times and probably can be helpful. Believe it or not, they were in the same kinds of situations you are now in when they were your age. Other adult role models can also be of help.

Principle #2: Avoid intentionally stimulating the sex drive

1)Don't do things that stimulate the sex drivelike simulated sex (grinding, dry humping), touching or rubbing each others' privates above or below the clothes, talking dirty and fantasizing together, etc. In general avoid lying down together, especially lying ontop of one another. Starting to explore each others’ bodies is nice and exciting, but should be reserved fora serious, committed relationship.

2)Technical virginity alone is not the goal. If you startfingering, giving hand jobs, oral, anal, etc., you really aren’t inexperienced any more and you haven’t saved much. Virginity, or chastity rather, is about more thanjust the technical status of a hymen being traversed by a penis. Engaging in other “substitute” activities will not keep you any more sexually pure than engaging in vaginal sex. They are still sexual activities so don’t fool yourself into thinking they are alright.

3)Try to keep yourself busy and avoid excessively thinking about or fantasizing about or stimulating your own sex drive when you are by yourself. Eliminate porn consumption and questionable media. Just remember “Junk in, junk out.” In other words, what you spend your time filling your head with will influence your attitudes and desires and eventually the activities that you choose to engage in.

4) Avoid heavy make out sessions. Keep kisses short and respectfuland limit the hand and body contact, especially with respect to private areas. Again, don’t lie on top of each other. Horizontal is hazardous. Kisses show affection, but they can also be very sexually stimulatory. At this stage I think I think it wiser to stick to kisses that show affection and save the arousing kisses for later when you are ready to enter into a more intimate relationship.

In conclusion, recognize your own limitations and thesituations in which you feel the strongest temptations, and make plans to avoid those situations. Set up some ground rules for yourself and your relationships. Date people who share common values and seek the advice of trusted adults, including your parents, religious leaders, and successful married couples you trust. Talk about the rules you have established with your parents and friends and rely on their help.
