why are the men allowed to date outside the religion but not the women?

It's a simple question.

because its all a means to conversion. The non-muslim woman marrying a Muslim man will be expected to convert at some point or the other. So the men can date outside the religion and convert their partner. Reducing the number of infidels.

but the women cant date outside because that may involve them converting to the infidel religions.
