I still have the courage to show my ugliness in public. What about your beautiful face?
I know you don't need any make-up to act a horror film the way you sounds, anyway you can make a career with it.

You've left or your time is up in cybercaffe?
Just do yourself a favour to put your genda, I'm just being fair to you cause you sounds female.
My time was up in cybercafe, so I had to buy some more credit. I could have used the money to buy you a mirror, breathmints and some toothpaste as well, however. Make you no take ya ugliness wound person for here. Dont know if that's your intention.

Wouldnt hurt you to see a dentist either. abi no non-Nigerian dentist for ya side?

My gender has nothing to do with your lousiness. You're one of the most egocentric ,arrogant and ignorant pricks on this forum, and thats why I never hesitate to call you out anytime you show your bush mentality.

I'm here for you anytime anyday. Dont let my gender disturb you.

they dont have to dance bare breasted for men to jerk off to. Nothing wrong with them covering up for the reed dance.

I dont know why the Italians havent gone there to source for women, since their king glories in that kind of festival. After all, its their culture.

Is that all your insulting dictionary can provide to qualify me? Listen Never and ever you get your dirty hands 100meters closer to any of Igbo decent for marriage if that is all your plan.
look at this one.

Grandiose delusion is not good.

People like this oziomatv are the ones blocking Igbo progress. Any tribe at all in which the majority behave like him, will definitely have a negative backlash due to this kind of irresponsible xenophobic attitude. That's why Africa is the way it is today- too many backward thinking people in the majority.

Thats why he's spouting foolish talk because he thinks he's a Zionist. yeah right. Too many people like you will usher in another Hitler, for real. undecided

DeepZone:
There is nothing wrong with it. What was wrong with the comment is stipulating the the president MUST be married to a non ibo woman to be considered when other tribes did not get such stipulations. As for me, I see the Nigerian presidency as an honorary and personal money making venture and do not care where he/she comes from because they don't have anything positive to contribute to the welfare of their people.
As for people saying the ibo presidency should be due in 32 years, do not forget the North has three geo political zones and only one zone has ruled. I suggest the reduce their tenure to 4 years each so that the rotation can go round in 24 years.
who says other tribes did not get such stipulations?

for an educated person, you do have a very intense tribalistic mindset, which is not good.

@ bolded: thats all there is to it. State your preference without feeling hurt by other people's own.

The Igbo president doesnt have to be male, by the way. As long as I'm the one doing the choosing.

also, why bring the north into this topic again? I don tire for all this reciprocal bashing abeg. You happened to be born Yoruba- its not something you consciously decided to be. You could just as easily have been hausa, given chance.

bawomolo:
the question isn't exogamy, the question is why tribal intermarriage should be considered a basis for being a president. the married for at least 20yrs requirement was even more atrocious. a better choice would be someone with a patrice lumumba like nationalist character. not that i was a fan of lumumba's conservative views by the way.
geez, am I the one choosing a president? Take a chill pill abeg.

What's wrong with a 20 year marriage requirement? How many US presidents have been married less than fifteen to twenty years? Barring Obama and some other few.

Someone who has been able to keep a monogamous marriage going for twenty or more years, shows a stability of character and I'D vote for him/her anyday. If the spouse is from a different tribe whether either of them is Igbo or not, they'D have my highest respect because it shows they've overcome this tribal mentality and are more likely to be non-discriminatory.

DeepZone:
Why such conditions? Did you stipulate such rules for the North too? Why must the south east present a candidate that married from another tribe? Is there anything am not getting here? That's a weird opinion!!
What's wrong with the president being related to a different tribe, or being married to someone from a different tribe?  How is that strange, when many Nigerian first ladies have been a different tribe from their husbands? I wonder at the hullabaloo here. OBJ himself is rumored to be half Igbo.

Nigeria needs more tribal integration, like it or not. Even if the country breaks up, the different tribes still need to mix in order to erase the closeminded mindset. Obama is half-white half-black. I don't see anyone complaining about it.

Open a thread about the ideal northern preseident and I'll post my views there. This topic is about an Igbo president.

oziomatv:
I conquered it in Jesus name for a Zionist to mix his precious Blood with an unclean Blood just to be a mare President of a Retard Country, We better wait for Biafra's dream to come true then we can match to the Zion with songs of Praise.

DREAM ON.
Because of unrepentant, narrowminded and delusional tribalists like you, the country definitely needs an Igbo president who can relate to other tribes, and who other tribes can relate to without reservation. Anyone with your mindset is surely a no no.

oziomatv:
She/he asked for it, I'm not withdrawing my comment.
please don't withdraw your comment.  Your own brand of tribalism is the destructive and retrogressive kind- everybody knows that.

DeepZone:
I agree with you, that's why i strongly believe that Nigeria will soon have no choice but to disintegrate. This DisUnited Kingdom called Nigeria is a temporal arrangement. The North will soon bail on us.
Whether they disintegrate or not, Nigerians need to learn how to get along with others in their vicinity. We don't have to be white to be able to do that, and neither should it take a jihad to force people to cooperate with each other.

One reason why the British respected the north more than the south in colonial times is because they (the north) presented a unified government, thanks to Usman dan Fodio's jihad which united them, and it wasnt as much of a headache to govern them as long as their religion wasnt messed with. Like it or not. The south, on the other hand, consisted of various mini-states too many to mention, all declaring themselves autonomous in their own right.

McKren:
Nigeria is in trouble

The way the youths of this country think tells you we are probably living over a gun powder waiting to explode somedayhuh??

What does having to be half igbo or married to someone who is'nt Igbo meanhuhhuh not sure where that argument comes fromhuh?
What's difficult to understand about someone being half-Igbo or married to a non-Igbo? It's never happened before?

If my use of Igbo is what's causing all this panic, then understand that I'D have the same requirements for my own ideal Nigerian president regardless of tribe. Dont know why folks are getting high blood pressure over someone mentioning tribal intermarriage.

grafikdon:
Coming from you, this is pretty much a big shock. This opinion is very bizarre to say the least.
Just like other posters, I probably didn't get the picture.

NOBODY should be posting about their approval/disapproval of a president based on his ethnic background. What's more important? Someone who will upgrade Nigeria from 20th world to 2nd world (1st world is asking too much for now), or an Igbo man married to Ijaw woman with Efik grandmother and Yoruba great great grand father? huh huh

And I thought only Madam "Naked" Ekaette and her imbecilic groupies in Ass* Rock. . . I mean Aso Rock are chasing shadows, lipsrsealed lipsrsealed
The thread is about an Igbo president, so the topic itself is based on ethnicity.

Nothing wrong with the bolded either. People need to integrate.

I must say I'm also surprised at your post. Maybe you'd be more comfortable if I joined other people and insisted there can never be an Igbo president.
PoliticsRe: 32 Years For An Ibo President To Emerge by tpia: 3:46am On Sep 09, 2008
sebi Goodluck is Ibo, so whats the problem.

He's Ijaw-Ibo, by his own definition.

I personally don't have a problem with an Igbo president, as long as the person is either half some other tribe or else married to some other tribe for more than twenty years.

Just my opinion.

Delta Ibo would also fit the bill, as well.
Foreign AffairsRe: Why Do Most Nigerians Want Obama To Win? by tpia: 3:33am On Sep 09, 2008
Obama is black.

People should stop all this crap about him being as white as he is black, just because of politics.

Nonsense.

He's not only black, he's black and African.

There are whiter people than Obama who are still classified as black.

Just because the guy is on a strict diet to make his face look longer and more uncle Sam-ish, doesnt magically make him white. Why wasnt the same crap preached during his years as a community organizer? This hypocrisy is irritating.

His white grandparents and even his own parents, didnt regard him as white. Dont know why people want to rewrite history as if they've never seen an election before.

bawomolo:
the one drop rule is one of the dumbest ideas created by man. i guess by your theory, mariah careh is black.

please.

Anyone living somewhere with no toilet, should relocate to a cheaper place where they can have a better quality of life.  You can live in Ogun state or somewhere else besides the slums, and commute to lagos daily like so many others are doing. Where there's a will, there'll eventually be a way.

I fully understand and sympathize with people's plight, but sometimes folks should get themselves out of the ghetto before the govt brings bulldozers to force them out.

Lagos slums arent supposed to be a permanent address for anyone.

We don't have to accept everything that is practiced by the white man in the name of change. Has the white man ever seen anything good enough in African practices to change to such?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/2226617.stm

the practice is outdated and has no place in the modern world. And the fact that Swaziland has an extremely high rate of AIDS shows how irresponsible the festival organizers are.

If they must stick to archaic traditions, then there's still nothing wrong with the girls being covered. They don't have to expose their breasts for every groping monarch and westerner to see.

The people who dress half naked most times because of the weather or because they're at the beach, are still not in the same category as these ones. Models do theirs on the catwalk because its their job and they get paid for their work as adults, unlike these ones. Any girl under 16, in most western countries, who is forced to do something like this, knows its illegal and her pimps liable to be prosecuted.

This is a dance where 20 to 30 thousand young girls go topless in the name of tradition. To what purpose beyond being a sight for Hot men to jack off to? And why can't the Swazi males also bare their own pricks? Any man who needs to see young women's breasts in order to get high, will always find an avenue to feed himself regardless. Porn is a multibillion dollar industry. Others are even making financial gains from it- these girls are doing their own for free in the name of one useless tradition.

And yes, parts of Nigeria also used to have this ceremony in ages past. It was discontinued because not every part of culture is beneficial or even sensible.

I notice the press only shows pictures of young beautiful girls whenever they cover this festival. If the women pictured were old grandmas with sagging boobs I'm sure most of you insisting its the Swazi females' right to go topless, would be the first ones shouting the dance has to stop.

though who knows sha. Boob is boob.

Or in the name of tradition or however you want to spin it?

Let the men also show their own assets in similar fashion. I've said why not turn the entire Swaziland into a giant nudist camp and apply for international AIDS assistance at the same time.
