There seems to be this notion that the guy has to pause as the sexual level increases to ask permission.

To Touch breast
Guy - Lover may I?
Girl - Yes, you may.

To Touch Nipples

Guy - Lover may I?
Girl - Yes you May.

To Put hands in undies
Guy - Lover may I?
Girl - Yes you may.

To slip fingers into  lipsrsealed
Guy - Looooffaaaaaaa . .mmmmay. . . mmmmmmay. . . aaaaaaaah?
Girl - No you may not!

Come on!!! Let's be real now!
heavy petting is different from full penetration.

Either way, its up to the man to decide if the girl/sex is worth the risk oh. ie does he want to find out if he'll be guilty or innocent should the lady scream rape. undecided

The whole scenario is more of a problem for casual sex lovers anyway. It isnt something people in a committed relationship have to worry about.

I believe a lot of men have been labelled because of some vindictive women.
There's a secretary at my hubby's place of work that obviously has the hots for him
and has made many remarks to him that are obviously sexually harassing.
Turn it around if he were the female and she was the male,he could lose his job and tarnish his records for things like that.
Women know how to manipulate these laws at will and then dock under the cover of "I'm a weaker vessel" when it suits them.
sweetie, its good to stand by your man, but the bottom line here is better make sure your guy is totally satisfied and well fed before he leaves home most days. So there's absolutely no romantic energy left over for the secretary to attempt to work on.

Na so them go dey nack tori say na woman dey pursue them.  Isnt it these same guys who are genetically programmed to consciously or subconsciously check out attractive females?

abeg keep your figure and also keep the man happy oh. cheesy

To Clarify Helen Mirren's comment, she is saying that not everything sexual act called RAPE is RAPE, which means it can't be criminal.

Helen's contention was that a woman who voluntarily ended up in a man's bedroom and engaged in sexual activity – but then said no to intercourse – could not seriously expect to take that man to court on a charge of rape if he ignored her last-minute insistence that she did not want full sex.
The women can and they do.

This helen herself knows that. Where was she when Mike Tyson was getting himself in trouble?

Gambia and Senegal were one and the same before the British decided that they wanted Gambia back from the French. Hence the reason why there are there are now Anglophones in Gambia and Francophones in Senegal who are from the same indigenous groups with the same language, culture and customs.

I know a few Cameroonians and Furthermore are you saying that all the Anglophones in Cameroon were Nigerians?
I don't recall anyone on this thread saying the Camerounian anglophones are Nigerian.

Really? How can he prove he didn't prove he didn't rape her? I'D think she is the one who has to prove she was raped. If that's how it is, then it's is completely unfair.
sisikill- why do we find ourselves at opposite ends of an argument these days?

Is it really that hard to find evidence of rape?

Any doctor can verify evidence of sexual activity in the pubic regions.

Facts and allegations are two totally different things. Thats why the man is at a disadvantage in such cases. His main defence in most instances is either to get reliable witnesses saying no rape occurred or else damage the girls character so her testimony can be disregarded. A third option is settling out of court.

Sisikill:
Please explain.
I mean if a woman accuses a guy of rape, then its up to him to prove himself innocent.

Sometimes its not always about whether or not a woman led a man on. A lot of (black) men have fallen into this trap, which is very unfortunate. Life isnt always fair.

oyibo women especially- if they say stop then stop. Even then the man may still get into legal trouble like Kobe Bryant.
Black women may overlook a lot of things, but not every woman is like that.

Bull! These people still have their indigenous languages to communicate in. It is much the same scenario in Gambia and Senegal where there are Anglophones and Francophones living side by side on the border but still communicating in the native languages. (wolof) I even know a Gambian that has several close family members who just happen to be Senegalese because of the borders were split down their countries and divided between the British and French. Those Bakassi people should stay where they are joh! I personally would never give up my ancestral land because of some borders drawn up by colonials.

My family are from the Delta region of Nigeria and I have always thought that if such a scenario were to happen to us where a centuries old treaty popped up saying that our lands were actually part of another country and not Nigeria I know that I would definitely stay put!
Gambia and Senegal are two separate countries?

And the complaints about discrimination are coming from Camerounian Anglophones who actually live in Cameroon. You're saying they dont know what they're talking about?

Its a free world- even if you wanted to migrate to Cameroun right now, no one is preventing you.

However, presuming to speak for others when you know nothing about what they're going through, makes no sense. Let a Camerounian or a Bakassian living in cameroun come and clarify.

I dont see why there's a quandary here.

If the woman respects herself she better dump the guy and get her life together. Or does she want to wait until her sister produces more step-nephews? Or until the husband throws her out?

How she can even consider this man worth staying with is beyond me. Maybe he's rich or something.

800.000 barrels of oil per day from Ondo state alone?! Are you on crack?!
am not sure how much oil exactly is being drilled from Ondo state, but I do remember hearing Abiola owned an offshore oil block there. Likewise some other VIP Nigerians whose names skip me at the moment.

This was ages ago- in the nineties, I think. Though who knows if its true or not.

If I were an indigene of that land then I wouldn't move at all. It is not exactly like there are any particular benefits of being a Nigerian and opposed to a Cameroonian. I would simply change passports if necessary and stay in my father's land. After all we are all Africans. People seem to forget that the border lines that differentiate each country from the next are man man and not God made.
The Camerounian anglophones (English speaking citizens) have long complained of being discriminated against by the Francophone population. They seem to be the underdogs over there.

I think dual citizenship should be allowed.

Bakassi Residents Need Passports To Enter Nigeria

RESIDENTS of Bakassi traveling to Nigerians will need to carry their proper traveling documents, including the passport of their new country, Akwa Ibom State Immigration Comptroller, Sir William Park, has said.

Fielding questions from The Guardian at the weekend, Park also said that the National Orientation Ageny, state information agencies and other government parastatals should educate returnees on the need for them to carry their traveling documents as part of the resettlement programmes.

He said there was need to educate and re-orientate the people into accepting the reality of the situation, as the ceding of Bakassi to Cameroun means that migration from either of the two neighbouring countries now means crossing international boundaries.

He noted that crossing of international boundaries requires total compliance to traveling norms to avoid embarrassment.

"The real challenge is now that Bakassi is part of another country and people coming from there need to have proper traveling documents because they are crossing international boundaries," he said.

On human trafficking in the state, Park said his command had burst three gangs of human traffickers in the Oron axis, where 47 people were arrested including a physically challenged man who was the ring leader.

Dont really know whats going on in that region, but I guess its international law. But can't some exceptions be made for exenuating circumstances.

However, if I were a Bakassian, I'D have evacuated the place long before now, unless I wanted to be a part of Cameroun.

Not every woman has a gigantic tummy during pregnancy. And yes, its possible for some women not to look too pregnant even at 7 months, especially if the tummy is small and they dress in a way that covers it up.

I'm not making excuses for the lady- just stating what I've seen in real life.

Its not specific to Yorubas.

The other type I know of, is eaten in the midwestern part of Nigeria (non-Yoruba). Its very long, stripped and thin, not small and round like the Yoruba one, and has a milder taste.
