So you arent aware Owo has a very large number of people from other parts of Nigeria who live and do business there? I checked with a friend who confirmed this emphatically. Go and ask about the non-Yoruba population of Owo.

Owo also has ties to Benin, from antiquity, as anyone can see from the location and also from the ancient Owo/Benin art on display at many museums abroad.
