some people wait till that last minute while others dont have that option. |
Sagamite: Jesus is giving you unconditional love?your actions are what determine your future. Jesus worked with any kind of personality. |
you have to define what you mean by "misbehaving" first. to me, misbehaving implies doing [or espousing] something that is in direct contradiction to God's word, while to others, misbehaving means the pastor or minister preached something they disagree with, or would prefer to argue about. so, what type of misbehaving are we referring to here. |
trendystuf: We should learn to appreciate what we have. I would have done things differently if I had known it was this beautiful.are you the lady in the picture? |
he does look nervous. the stance is like somebody about to sprint long distance or 400 metre relay. |
Golden Lady: Really? That's the average these days? I still think it's a high number especially in that time span. Oh well.should be the average, i suppose, if someone is sexually active and not in a steady relationship or celibate. say s/he goes to nightclubs, parties, etc, where s.ex is generally expected after meeting up with men there. or even assuming most males will expect s.ex in any context anyway. just guessing, dont really know. |
the fact remains- western countries NEED the influx of people from elsewhere. most nigerians are under the illusion the need is one sided. america is a country of immigrants, duh. as per where to be born- why not ask that question when you're in diaspora and looking for who to marry! |
basher: https://www.nairaland.com/1110573/soldiers-flog-abuja-university-studentsi schooled in nigeria- what's your point? ![]() |
MacLovington: Things that matter like paying bribe, looting public purse and everybody being his own local government? It's true. Most serious countries where diaspora kids are don't build such "strong" character.if you want to look up events in the diaspora, google is your friend. ![]() |
Donxavier: Bros where do you get all these facts from? These topic has been beaten dead on this forum I ve lost count. However way you choose to look at it, Nigerians at home do not have a better quality life than those legally residing abroad.....They maybe better than the illegals and that's about it. The only thing I see in which the averagely successful Nigerian at home comes out on top is as regards having more disposable income compared to the averagely successful Nigerian in disapora, assuming they both work for multinationals.Apart from the taxes, I just do not see how the ones at come are better off.... maybe you may enlighten usI'm referring to overall achievements. let the facts speak for themselves- I'm not dealing with sentiment or wishful thinking here. aside from language, exposure to various nationalities,(mostly just good for spying/govt work) and the ever important "green card" or multicoloured passport, you cant really say there's the drive to succeed which is very common in nigerians from nigeria. forget all these semi-illiterate ones spoiling nigeria's image and look at only specific stats. |
Donxavier: This is a funny assertion. How do you mean as regards the bolded? Are you saying Nigerian children at home are doing better than those abroad? And those children abroad vanish into obscurity? I wonder how the Nigerians kids at home are doing better when majority are a product of the failed educational system in the country.regardless the state of the educational system, fact remains nigerians from nigeria (born in nigeria) still do better overall than their foreign born/raised counterparts. what the foreign based nigerians have to struggle with, includes being in a multiracial environment (where they're expected to be at the bottom of the racial equation), while the nigerians from home do not have to contend with that, although granted things might change with all these chinese and other stuff. another thing nigerians overseas have to contend with, is having most other things (aside from race) very easy- this doesnt necessarily encourage strong character when it comes to stuff that matters. |
hmm, a lot of people dream to marry yoruba men. some dream to marry igbo, hausa, or some other tribe. different strokes for different folks. personally, i wonder if i have particular preferences when it comes to such. Cant necessarily think of any but i dont think i'd find it easy adapting to a different culture than what i'm used to sha. not really an adventurous person when it comes to things like that. did she grow up in the southwest, since she says she "speaks yoruba fluently"? (she doesnt really sound like that though). oil and gas, na wa. ![]() |
KINGwax: thank u jare. I don't knw how u think it's normal to fucck more than 15men within than period of years. Maybe people have forgotten that nymphonania is a mental disease that needs urgent therapy! Google is your friend!15 men in 4 years is about 3 or 4 men per year. i think that might be the general average perhaps. with all these one night stands, booty calls, konji, etc, who knows. **shrugs** |
Exc@libur:dem dey do aso ebi on top dating somebody? ![]() |
and how will that help you or her? ![]() she should just live her own life and stop stalking the man everywhere. he's not her husband- he's her father. Neither is she her mum, the man's wife. nobody is condoning his actions, but at the same time, the op needs to lay off the accusations a bit and leave the man to his lifestyle. She can pray for him, which is what is required, and will work better than ranting. short of beating up all the women, what else can she do when a man wants to stray? |
with or without, depends. |
personally, i was not raised to interact only with people of the same religion and/or beliefs as myself, hence my presence everywhere in this forum. so, while i find it difficult to subscribe to or follow the notion of exclusivity in relating with folks, it doesnt mean i'm also not aware others may have been raised differently, and i wouldnt necessarily see it as a bad thing unless the/their mindset becomes excessively inimical to others in some way. in any case, i'm of the opinion everybody cant be the same, and i do base my discussions accordingly, as far as i know. having said all that, this is my personal view, hence the excessive use of I in the post. |
the wedding is considered african because the man is african, i assume. or, is that africa? Might be, i suppose. |
odehaj: Akpos asked his pregnant wife to enter atlantic ocean to give birth since it is linked to America!funny. people born or raised overseas dont even find it easy adapting to either the home or foreign environment, so i dont know what some people are jumping up about here. aside from the fact that a child was born/raised in a western country, thus getting passport, can sometimes speak the language with or without a nigerian accent, how well (on average) are these kids actually doing compared to their nigerian from nigeria counterparts, if one has to be realistic. at most, you vanish into the AA population and that's about it. |
Jambsupport: pple dont understand ds ish, how does respect comes in when a man has proven ova n ova again dat hes a dog. pfftwell, in nigeria, you will respect unless you've been confirmed crazy. if nothing else, the man can beat the respect into you. or unless you're not collecting your school fees from him? ![]() bottom line is, her ranting all the time obviously doesnt faze him, and since its her father, she has to find ways of dealing with what she cant change. she's grown and should be thinking of launching her own career- why is she still stalking the dad everywhere instead of finding something else to do. men in that lifestyle usually dont care how others view their womanizing. |
husbands are queuing up to marry her.....unless the husband is a psychopath, i dont think he will enjoy hearing her bash her father all the time. |
packman: why do parent get angry when their daughters brings a man home for marriage issue? this stuff is becoming an habit in most parent...when they dont know you, shouldnt they ask who you are? ![]() |

as per the rest of your post, well, they are muslim. religion comes first, unlike with christianity where many can place their secular lives ahead of theological considerations [not saying anything's wrong with that]. |
some muslims are intellectuals. there's just not many of them on nl, and the few who are, have to keep quiet for the sake of peace. [i suppose]. |
no way around it, unless you're not a christian. if Jesus didnt consider your personality before offering you his unconditional love, then why are you tagging others with what was forgiven in your case. matt 18 23 “Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. |
IT isnt really a social interactive app in real life, in spite of it being so on the web. much of the time, you dont really meet people as much as traditional brick and mortar businesses. why dress up when you're going to be at the computer all day? |
luke 10 25 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” |
mark 12 28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” |
tagging someone unloveable doesnt mean you yourself are lovable. that attitude could be a factor in what gave rise to your thread. ![]() |
is he seeing anybody? sounds like he needs someone in his life. too much downtime. |
