Yomieluv: If this has happened in Nigeria,so people would have been ranting rubbish blaming FAAN,FG,and so on,now it happened in oyinbo land, all we can say is "Thank God,no life lost".eh, na so e be. |
browncool: San Fransisco airport will not speak Mandarin (Chinese language)and the girls voice on the video background were Filipinos as they were speaking Tagalogexplain? |
hmmm, well its always good to prepare for any eventuality i guess. |
Other countries charge for trolleys too. Everything cant be free, dear. |
Mile high Not far from the truth is still different from the truth. Would you like to be locked up on your same premise of not being far from the truth? |
maclatunji: Madam, many girls aged 12-13 expect to be chased in Nigeria. You will be shocked to know.To the best of my knowledge, most are not. However, it could depend on environment, like i mentioned before. Also, things might have changed. |
No silver spoon, no super star. |
collynzo2: That doesn't change the fact that those pics are not from Nigerian prisons. Since you visit Nigerian prisons, take pics and bring the here for us to discuss. We can't have people talking thrash about Nigeria based on pics from Malawian prisons. It just doesn't make any sense.Thats nlers for you. |
Nigerians and their constant support of anything negative. If it were politicians in those prisons, no one would bother, they'd even be rejoicing sef. |
btw who is the lady? |
all these women [mostly nigerian female celebrities], who just date multiple men freely and get all kinds of goodies from them, how una dey do am nah. some of us werent told the same things you were told, as in, we did not know we can have sexual liberation like you folks are demonstrating, we thought its only males who can do that. but what i'm seeing is women who are living the life and enjoying it, na new picture and new stories everyday, if its not them riding jeep or getting some rich man, its them having their babies/being feted overseas and jollying up for the camera. all this on top the enjoyment of sampling different men? seems the rest of us are just suffering ourselves for nothing. no wonder some people aspire to be celebrities- its very liberating. |
lets understand there is no saint and no sinner here, all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. ![]() we do not need more nigeria designated terrorists to further damage the country's image. people should give it a rest. ![]() |
@ topic dunno. just wondering if nigeria will copy this at some point. |
my question now is, how far can you go without political ambitions? Can You be a Billionaire without political connections?no you cant. |
if only nigeria were much more developed, there wouldnt be so much animosity since fewer nigerians would look for greener pastures outside. just vacation, tourism, and thats it. |
like i said, if you're okay with it, then it doesnt concern other people per se, unless you get in their face. |
^ the picture is showing nigerian protesters campaigning in london. at least that's what the nl headline said. as per the rest of your post, can you name anywhere in africa that consists solely of black people? |
but if the photo consisted of politicians, most people on the thread would immediately swallow their sympathy. |
gerald09: Finally a state that is competing with lagos, I hope these continues in oda states, dey need to start competing with each oda in everything.kano has always been a cosmopolitan hub even from before colonial times. i suppose you're just learning this. |
the problem with aspiring to be a celebrity is you have to pose for semi nude pictures every so often, in order to keep your career moving. well, if the person involved doesnt mind, then it doesnt concern other people i guess. |
zibiah: @acidosis as if u know wat is going thru my mind right now. Am heavy and am almost due n d fear griping me as am reading dis thread is sometin else. My hubby has begged me to stop reading it but I can't help mysef. I keep coming back hoping to read more pleasant experiencesyou shouldnt be reading these types of threads if you're pregnant. when you see this kind of thread title, dont click on it. if the urge grips you, go to another section (eg celebrity, food, or entertainment). |
CAMEROONPRIDE: too many white and others unknown races ewwwwww.what do you mean? https://dvsl3w2q45hb8.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/protest.jpg |
yes, they're very beautiful, the best nigeria has to offer. can the op also post pictures of the people mentioned in the thread title. |
^ no need to go neanderthal, madam (although its a free world, so you can do so if you feel like) like i said, i still have the post. |
lol |
Artlove: Hmmmmmmm! over do competition.everything is a competition. |
with the way our society is going, women being objectified, a play thing. I think i have good reasons to be scared.very true. |
sino: Na fear o, whether you like it or not, females are like a target. The prophet (saw)(if i'm not mistaken) said train a boy and you've trained one person, train a girl and you've trained a nation.well, you know the expression you used- "give you the creeps", has a different meaning from just being scared. and, i initially thought you and deols were posting in conjunction with each other until i noticed her agreeing with me and even mentioning me by name. That means she is really disturbed and angered by your post, just saying. if you were christian, i would know how to address your post, but since you're not, I'll just say, dont let your destiny agree with what you're typing. meaning should your destiny agree with what you're typing, would that be a good or bad thing. for example, say instead of: i was having serious issues thinking of my future children in sha Allah, how to raise them up Islamically and i tell you, female children gave me the creeps....you typed: i was having serious issues thinking of my future children in sha Allah, how to raise them up Islamically and i tell you, female children gave me delight....which do you think would be better. i dont know if you're indian, hispanic, middle eastern, or some other nationality, but the context in which I'm typing is assuming you're nigerian. |
tbaba1234: Raising a girl child could be a daunting challenge especially if you are looking at it from a guy's perspective.being chased by men at a young age, could depend on where you raise the child and how you raise her, ie what kind of company she finds herself around. I do not think most girls in nigeria are chased by men when they are 12 or 13 years, of course things have changed and maybe that's how it is now, but that's not how it used to be. although, like i said, it might depend on environment since everywhere isnt the same. imo, raising a boy or girl is equally challenging, but the girl carries the greater share of anything that goes wrong. |
