The husband didnt seem to get one, this lady better watch out for husband snatchers?

Why is she changing her appearance so soon into the marriage?

If he saw her with her nose and hair and still proposed anyway, then what exactly is going on now?

nanaboi: @Rossikk, it must be excruciatingly exasperating to join issues with these a**wipes on here that can't understand sense in wateva languague it's conveyed.

@topic, has anyone bothered to check the manufacturers' addy on the common peanut that sells (for N50 currently) like satchet water in most neighbourhoods? Aboki kiosks no dey miss get am.
That stuff bears a Ghanaian addy. Shame coz we're 4th behind 3 countries & Ghana is not even 1 of them; but, apparentli, they know wat 2 do with peanuts & we don't. Pathetic.
The company packaging the peanuts might be owned by a nigerian, and besides, ghanaians possibly consume more peanuts than nigerians do, since they also use theirs in sauce, unlike most nigerians. They even have their own locally made peanut butter.

Besides, they might be importing peanuts from nigeria, who knows.

However, i do see your point, nothing prevents nigerians from packaging peanuts also.

I blive in right place at d right time, but sometimes 2 pple can b at same place same time but sometime good/bad thing happen to one and leave d other.
True that, however, if everybody who set out for spain arrived there, their home countries would soon empty and the destination country would soon be crowded. May the dead rip.

Your questions dont match, but i dont think they'd mind if you became a muslim.

You mean would they not want you to be muslim or something, because you insulted their religion?

That would even go in your favour, imo.
Travel › Re: I Have America Visa But Scared Right Now by tpia5: 4:48pm On Jun 10, 2013
Well, just be prepared for some hard times and the erosion of everything you consider values.

Not sure you have a choice since you already have the visa.

However, if you're lucky and have a good social support structure in place, it might not be so bad.

And dont assume your village witches cum ancestral enemies wont follow you to america o, just saying, so you wont be surprised when you meet them there or they meet you there.

But the extent to which they touch you, can still be determined by God and you personally.

lanrexlan: Is it a must you read such threads that contain phonography? Allah
said in the glorious Quran in surah An-Nur 24;30-''Tell the believing men to lower their gaze(from looking at forbidden things)and guard their private parts(from illegal sexual acts). That is purer for them.Verily,Allah is All-acquainted of what they do''.
So if you enter such thread without knowing that it contains X rated pics in the first instance and it's unintentional, the moment you realised it contains such things, then you should leave it.As prophet muhammed(pbuh)said in an authentic hadith that if you look at something forbidden unintentionally, the first glance is permitted but the second glance is forbidden. And Allah knows best.
thanks for answering.

I'm referring to a situation where, say, for example, you're on a thread discussing something mundane and then suddenly explicit images get posted. Just wondering if it affects you somehow.

Prevention is better than cure
true, but not everything can be prevented.

The mind is a very delicate,it tends to focus on what the eyes see.
sometimes, not necessarily always, it depends.

Prophet muhammed(pbuh)said in an authentic hadith that the zina(adultery) of the eyes is looking at forbidden things. The more forbidden things you look, the more your heart tends to focus on it and may or could destabilize someone's spirituality.Allah knows best.....Peace
the bolded is what i wondered about.

i know some muslims are very serious about what they expose their gaze too, and they consider it unholy if they see some things. Hence the enquiry about cleansing.

Cultured: Jonathan did not ascend to the top in his political career through luck , rather he prepared himself and sought for the opportunities ( directly or indirectly ) and when they materialized he grabbed them . Innovation is the key .
true that.

he didnt really "grab" them per se, key word here is "prepare".

accusations and counter accusations by some Muslim groups in the state that they are being consistently marginalized and denied pilgrimage slots in favour of Muslims from the North.

This situation has led to mistrust, tension and a crack in the leadership of the Muslim community in the state.

The protesting groups, who addressed a press conference at the weekend under the aegis of Akwa Ibom Muslims Community, accused Governor Godswill Akpabio’s Aide De Camp (ADC), Baba Shehudeen of selling pilgrimage slots meant for Akwa Ibom Muslims to outsiders.

Apart from briefing the press on the development, the groups have jointly written a petition to Governor Akpabio in which they alleged that the governor’s ADC, Shehudeen, a Deputy Superintendent of Police is “marginalizing Akwa Ibom Muslims to the advantage of foreign elements and imposters”

The six-page letter to the Governor was endorsed by representatives of five Islamic bodies in the state, including Federation of Muslim Women Association of Nigeria (FOMWAN), Hausa Muslim Youth Council (HMYC), Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI), Board of Trustees of the Uyo Central Mosque and the state chapter of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs(NSCIA).

The signatories representing the groups are Mujahid Nya (NSCIA), Abdul Ahmed (JNI), Mrs Kudirat Sani (FOMWAN), Mustapha Gurama (HMYC) and Mohammed Al Bashir (BOT Uyo Central Mosque).

Spokesman for the groups, Muhammed Al Bashir complained that the Akpabio’s ADC was “depriving Akwa Ibom muslims of the opportunity to discharge their religious obligations”.

BetaThings: Christian tolerance is a myth, esp in Nigeria.
how is it a myth when this is something you see everyday?

maybe you mean nl tolerance is a myth.

Please let us do it. I dare you to begin. For every anti-Christian thread started by a Muslim that you bring up, I will bring 3 anti-muslim thread started by Christian. And I can assure you, you will be exhausted first
whoever brought up the issue should begin, lets take it from there.

the onus is not on me to begin anything, however, I'm ready to match anyone who wants to begin something, with whatever they think they're beginning.

puns/rhymes intended.

However, Muslims are not judged by their nature as human beings. They are judged by their religion
and that's far fetched because? huh

as per muslims being judged by their nature as human beings, some are, others who prefer to be judged by their religious persuasion, work hard to ensure they are. Do you think this is an incorrect statement?

This statement contradicts your assertion that anything Muslims pull up would be matched by Christians.
Anyway, what opinion did you form when you USED to visit religion section
no opinion per se, I'm not on nl to form opinions.

BTW I once stumbled on a religious thread you opened that made front page - it was clean, decent, no abuse directed at Christianity. at least not by Muslims. The difference is clear
link, thanks.
