PointB: @Op,
That's not a bad idea. Should that happen, the can only be one of the two outcomes below:

1. The Dog and the Baboon will be soaked in blood or
2. The Dog and the Baboon will have a feast.

Either way, I care less!
Dont worry, you will care more.

PointB: Why don't you try making some sense. How does my biting rock in annoyance provide the answer I seek. Abeg move aside, let me hear from people who have answers. Rock ko, wood ni!

No derail my thread, I like to keep it neat!
When you're frustrated, your best solution is to bite rocks or else find a tasty meal that satisfies only you.
Politics › Re: How Wealthy (Rich) Is Bola Ahmed Tinubu? by tpia5: 12:46pm On Sep 06, 2012

No doubt dogs are very common in your ancestral tree, and you can tell us which state you come from.

Op why not check the sources of wealth of those in your state instead of looking so far from home.

i quote a source which says "a British historian of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries, in a letter to Bishop Mandell Creighton in 1887:
what concerns the esteemed bishop or British historian with garri? huh

maybe you meant to quote obasanjo whose drinking of garri made the media rounds.
Nairaland General › Re: What Do You Think Of Nairaland's Garri Peeps? by tpia5: 2:43am On Sep 06, 2012
GARRISON2: please according to my examination, you need plenty injections of garri directly into your stomach to help your mental condition

I dont have any opinion about the topic.

However, i noticed there seems to be a garri war going on between pro and anti garri activists.

The specifics are rather fuzzy but i gather the constant asking about the price of garri, is annoying to some.

If she's not convinced, then you should consider the possibility she might not be the right one for you.

Just guessing here.

Culture › Re: Come And Eat: Is It For Formality Or Do You Mean It. by tpia5:
one of the formalities and nuances in nigerian culture which needs to be modified.

come and eat doesnt mean nothing has been added to the "food" oh.

lord have mercy.

gone are the days when come and eat was an invitation made with a genuine desire to simply share a tasty meal and nothing more.
Food › Re: The Nigerian Tribe With The Highest Variety Of Soup Is? by tpia5:
Rossikk: I knew an African-American babe once who told me her Yoruba boyfriend chided her for ''bringing Ibo soup'' into his house. She had come home with a bowl of soup prepared by her Igbo workmate or something. Apparently the boyfriend warned her very strongly never to make the mistake of bringing ''Ibo soup'' into his house. cool
of course you're exaggerating for emphasis, but if the guy is not an adventurous eater, and also doesnt know what's in the soup, as in he's not familiar with the food, then she should simply learn what yoruba soup he likes and learn how to prepare it.

sounds like she or her workmate were being mischievious because EVERYBODY knows igbos are not yoruba and vice versa.

So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? John 13:12
answer the question first, then proceed from there.

it would help if you also quoted the verse where Jesus explained why he did it.

the key point was not so people could feel holier-than-thou and start attacking others, but for all of them to serve each other.

feel free to disagree.
Culture › Re: Negritos(small NEGROS) Found As Natives In Asia by tpia5: 4:36am On Sep 04, 2012
most of the negritos look mixed, true.

it could be because they actually are mixed, or else because they actually are asian, not black per se.
Christianity Etc › Re: Bible Study For Bible Students by tpia5: 4:18am On Sep 04, 2012
now, if your clothing is making others sin, modify it.

true, whoever will sin will still sin regardless, but if you are a leader in your congregation and you notice strange things going on there, open your eyes as the scripture says, and act accordingly.

whatever is not expedient, you can do without.

if wearing a coat will make some salivate over you, change your mode of dressing and break that link.

you are there not to appeal to the outer senses, but to the inner man.

thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy unclothedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
anoint thine eyes with eyesalve that thou mayest see.
