i posted a picture of a packed bus, hope you saw it. others have mentioned the fact that this isnt unique to nigeria alone. hope you noticed. |
@ topic where are the patient records kept, and are they gone now. hope there's some online database? lord have mercy o. |
how did d fire start?good question. |
Tuesday, March 21, 2006 date of article. op, this is 2012. |
people should stop showcasing their ignorance. it's annoying. what's it with nigerians and complaining for goodness sake. whine whine whine all the time. |
op is it because they're black and in nigeria that you must open thread? ![]() the same happens everywhere in the world- what's your problem. nigerians like to "open mouth" too much- why? Everything is always so "strange" to some of you. ![]() the only issue i have with the pictures is the guy standing in the stairwell- that space is supposed to remain clear. |
This poster seems familiar |
Some are only used to zombies. |
HNosegbe: Product of Awolowo's free education programme.he's actually from a very rich family, if you know how to read. |
^thank you. if it were random like people are making it seem here, they'd have at least 20 people being detained right now. given the way the suspects are singing like birds, its possible they said the drug used on cynthia was obtained from that pharmacy. |
coogar: duh! cynthia is dead - her own version of the story cannot be heard, his killers said they paid for her ticket and accommodation, how do we know they are speaking the truth?the killers paid for the room- the hotel has sacked all the staff on duty that day, for not following procedure. apparently, the men used fake names to book the room, and the hotel staff didnt check their ids or something like that. http://allafrica.com/stories/201208300099.html Nigeria: Cynthia - Hotel Sacks Workers for Negligenceas per air ticket- that needs to be looked into and yes, it can and will be verified. |
do you atheists really feel you're making a moon landing with your rants on nl? ![]() wonders will never cease sha- so this stuff is a matter of life and death for you. amazing. joblessness coupled with ignorance=you people. lol. anyway, carry on- your zeal can power a small transformer. |
tintingz: and most of them are born into christianity before converting to atheism or agnosticismnot all of them. there's also heavy immigration from countries in the former communist blocs which were officially atheist. |
not excusing racism, but blacks tend to be their own worst enemies. |
envy is self defeating even though it's quite common. |
madam, how many times will you be told to get him a lawyer? ![]() doesnt this guy have family members btw. |
you mean the pos would verify whose pocket the money for the air ticket came from? what if the boys paid into cynthia's account before she bought the ticket herself from the north? what if she paid the money from her own pocket without the assistance of no one? she's dead now - nothing can be verified, same as the hotel - cynthia could have paid into their account to secure a reservation @ the hotel!so far what everyone heard was the killers paid forher airfare and hotel room. this is actually standard procedure used in runs transactions- not saying she was one. verification of the money used would include where the ticket was purchased, etc. kindly stop grasping at straws plz. |
reminds me of the rap battle on let it shine. |
How many ppl would think twice before drinking a sealed drink?true. but usually, in nigeria, women who meet men in hotel rooms, arent viewed well. doesnt matter if her intentions were good. |
cynthia left home and travelled hundreds of miles without the consent of her family, she wouldn't have that the gall to mention she was rapedif she had gotten out of there alive, she probably would have. i get the feeling these men are either known to her or they had some associates in common with her. They could also know her without her being aware of this fact. |
in what way is the credibility of the police at stake? and how are they parading the suspects as guilty when they havent even shown their faces? Till date the killers are refusing to face the camera. And they gave REPORTERS a full confession in plain daylight. There isnt even a single mark on them for people to wonder if they were tortured. as per the pharmacists- GET A LAWYER. |
it's unverifiable - if they paid for her ticket, her name would be on the ticketthe point of sale can be verified, ie where did the ticket originate from. same goes for the hotel room. i am not sure they wanted her deadi'm sure they had no intention of letting her leave there alive. |
oops, does he know how to run the power industry? |
who knows for sure they paid for air ticket and accommodation? the story revealed she's well to do and she's the daughter of a general! the criminals might have lied about who paid for what? they had to be sure they would recoup their money back before paying for her ticket and the hotel room!well, that should be easy to verify unless she didnt travel under her own name. they had to be sure they would recoup their money back before paying for her ticket and the hotel room!true. which brings the question of where were they getting their finances from. and why did they want her dead instead of alive? |
^not with a father and brother in the military. i doubt they had any intention of letting her get out alive. what they didnt envisage was getting caught. |
@ topic overseas, all this excuse na grammer o, sorry to say. westerners will toss you in the slammer faster than you can say "sympathy", or "old man in pain". his friends should just get him a good lawyer and btw which school is being referred to here. |
upon all my grammar, u still quote the guy?i only noticed him saying he buys this same prescription drug without a doctor's order. he was almost boasting sef. maybe he uses it for something else? That's the same attitude that got this pharmacist in trouble. |
