pfii: Hmmm, today toay o, my friend went to one pastor's place in Akute with names of 3 guys, d pastor chose d guy that sleeps around with gals and has even bleeped 2 of her friends. He maintained and stood his ground that d guy is d best. One of d guy's on d list is one dat she has been dating 4 3yrs and d guy completed his 3bderm flat this year and is seriously planning to marry my friend by next year. But mehn Pastor has spoken o, my frind said she'll wait 4 d promiscous guy o who told her dat he still wants to "jaye ori e" even till d next 2yrs.....he won't be ready....SMH 4 my dear friend!i think by "pastor' many of you mean "alufas" ie "ministers" (for want of a better word), not "pastors" per se. I've often wondered about this issue of "alufas" who choose partners for people when asked. Oftentimes, i feel they conduct investigations into the couple's background, culture and history, and base their premises on their findings. |
my parents forgot my birthday, my husband forgot my birthday, my friends forgot my birthday, seun and mukina forgot my birthday, gej forgot my birthday, nl moderators forgot my birthday, lefulefu forgot my birthday, blah blah blah, |
^ there's no need to fight, dear. you already said you dont know what igbo look like, so why are you arguing as if you're being piad to do so. you can however jist us about cameroonians in ivory coast. |

he was so silly enof to travel four hours away from lagos during d first week of our knowing eachotherlord have mercy. i really dont understand this habit nowadays of travelling great distances just to meet people. how do you know who you're meeting? ![]() |
why is she holding up a bag of doritos in the second picture? nigerians have come again with their foreign accessories. |
. |
well, the only question left is why the op posted photos of people who she hopes will be called nigerian, and still claim she doesnt know what nigerians look like? ![]() anyway, am out for now. |
honeypie311: She used to be one of the best Nollywood actress in the 90's until she got married, she s based in France ω¡τђ her wonderful family. I really miss her so much.when did she move to france? as of last year, she was in new york. |
her daughters are starting to look more like her- the resemblance wasnt so much before. the boy's face has also changed- now he looks more nigerian, unlike before when he just looked AA. or isnt that him in the other photo? |
dont even know what to type jo. lord have mercy. |

Igbo are west Africans right, so why would they look very different from others?is this a question? ![]() |
U want to snap pix in hotel rums and upload on FBhmm |
Sybellah: What do you mean by looking strongly Igbo? Igbo are west Africans right, so why would they look very different from others? About skin color, though they have a higher rate of light skin people, the majority are brown to dark skin. That girl ain't from cameroon ever, she is Koyaka-Dioula from NorthWest Cote d'Ivoire.what's her ancestry dear. where did ojukwu go after the civil war? you really cant play this game- as it is, i dont even take the thread seriously- just posted out of idleness or boredom. are there any people of cameroonian descent in ivory coast. just like are there people of ghanaian and nigerian descent in ivory coast. anytime you see someone who looks strongly igbo (emphasis here is on strongly), yet isnt igbo, find out if igbos or igboid people used to be resident in their area. |
more drama, lord have mercy. |
if indeed the story is true, its also possible the killers intentionally hooked up with her on facebook and were stringing her along till they persuaded her to fly to lagos. she was unaware, and thought it was a regular trip possibly just like ones she'd taken before. still not convinced the whole thing isnt a hoax though. too many loose ends. but, moral of the story includes, beware of freebies. If it sounds too good to be true, then there's usually a catch somewhere. think i've read a couple of threads on nl where some girls were jubilating over their "jolly good" boyfriend who sprayed them with all sorts of goodies running into millions of naira. Just met oh. dont know if the threads werent fake however. |
i just read a very long write up on a blog by someone who claimed to be her childhood friend and who says she grew up with her and knows her family. |
when it comes to marriage, i dont believe common sense should take a back seat. butterflies in your tummy do not substitute for common sense, imo. if more people understood this, they wouldnt rely on extra-terrestrial sightings in order to choose a partner. not knocking the role of spirituality or romance in relationships, but at the same time, dont be d.aft. Nothing in the bible supports that. the most a pastor can do (a serious pastor that is), aside from praying, is to conduct discreet background checks on your "suitor/s", and even that isnt necessarily a pastor's job, but your family members, as it were. |
She decided to send the pictures of the suitors to a pastor so he can pray over the pictures and then tell her which one is her husband.very unscriptural. if she's confused, she can ask for advice from pastors, friends, family members, etc. sending pictures is childish. Is she asking the pastor to rate their looks? ![]() and how many suitors exactly are being referred to here? too many simultaneous suitors, shows a high level of unseriousness on her part, imo. just my two cents, no be say i know am pass others o!!! |
btw, muslim section. |
villagers have suffered. |
nigerians used to pray for their enemies to have long life. however, sometimes these enemies do need to fall back and stop constituting a nuisance. i was just considering this the other day and was rather amazed to realize these days, you see your enemies hanging around you as if you're the source of their salvation. You consider somebody your enemy, yet you still hang around the person as if common sense has evaporated from your body. because you're trying to harm them- is that the reason for staying in their face? better repent [if you like of course]. |
some of these people just provide victims for killing. |
