abeg stop spamming the forum with this meaningless post.

all these gbegeles, gbeboruns, gbefila, mafilomindasi, amebo, busybody, rumor mongers, gossips, etc.

get a life, for goodness sake.

if oyedepo spent all his time indulging in mindless gossip and bad belle like most of you, would he be where he is today.
Islam › Re: The Challenges Of Igbo Muslims by tpia5: 2:38pm On Jul 31, 2012
@ sweetnecta

yes, we all want everybody in the world to be our own religion (yay, more friends, marriages and whatnot for us), but unfortunately, life is not a fairytale.

the plain fact remains there will always be different religions at least in this current dispensation.

God made variety for a reason.

If we were all meant to be the same, then the human body itself would be a circle or something. Not divided into different extensions, shapes and functions.

but carry on with your zeal-it will be an achievement for you and yours no doubt if you succeed in your mission.

every single nigerian has relatives who are poor.

not knowing of any doesnt mean they're not there, unless you arent nigerian.

its these same relatives that your enemies will attempt to use to get to [at] you.

tunshe: I may be new to Nairaland but really worried by every opportunity destructive criticism from the Christians on this Platform.

My expectations were,to see leaders create unity, ideas on Nation Building, statements of tolerance but alas, peeps continue to fan embers of religious intolerance, misquote Scriptures to favour their thoughts and incitement to generate hatred.

I weep for the future of this country cry cry cry,if the people we look up to are expressing so much bias?how then do we leave together in Future?or is the earlier generation better than ours?

I look forward to see comments.
i suspect you're a paid hack, as evidenced by your last sentence.

in any case, utilize the search function and direct your comments to the site admin (assuming that's not you).

the whole story sounds cooked up to me.

including your own.

and i think people should stop tailing this covenant university as if there are no other colleges in nigeria.

what exactly is paining you about the place?
Nairaland General › Re: Why Do Some Nairalanders Have A Serious Bias Against Those Of Us Overseas ? by tpia5: 9:32am On Jul 31, 2012
i've noticed most of the biases on nl tend to directly mirror seun and mukina's personal ones.

thus, you have anti-nigerian women bias, anti-yoruba bias (men and/or women), anti-christian bias, anti-some poster bias, etc.

its like they have armies, or almajiris who fight on their behalf.

undecided

and that's why they encourage the same.
Islam › Re: Save Oyedepo's Muslim Sister by tpia5: 9:27am On Jul 31, 2012

Christianity Etc › Re: Bishop Oyedepo To Muslim Sister : “Convert To Christianity Or Die Poor,” by tpia5:
nigeria is a poor country.

for every nigerian, there are multitudes of poor relatives in the background.

i think this should be common knowledge.

nigeria is a third world country, not first world where everybody has an advanced lifestyle.

gej said he couldnt afford shoes at one time, mko abiola used to be poor, i myself grew up poor,

so who are these hypocritical nigerians acting like they have no poor relatives in their own families?

i could have used your hypocritical assistance when i couldnt afford to eat meat back then!!!!!

i passed through ife eating concoction most of the time!!! Even before nko?

hypocrites are annoying. undecided

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/barackobama/9389851/Baracks-Obama-half-brother-George-hes-got-other-issues-to-deal-with.html

In the clip published by the Hollywood Reporter, D’Souza asks George Obama why the half-brother of the most powerful man on the planet lives in poverty. The president's half-brother refuses to criticise him.

“I think he has a family of his own,” George Obama says. “I’m a member of his family, but I’m over-age, so I help myself.”

“He’s got other issues to deal with,” he says. “He’s taking care of the world, so he’s taking care of me.”
Christianity Etc › Re: Finance And The Christian [should The Christian Be Rich Or Poor?] (family Only) by tpia5:
christians have always been drawn from all walks of life (check the bible)- its mainly nigerians who have the bigoted idea that rich christians are an anomaly.

the catholic church remains one of the richest organisations till date- i dont hear anybody utter a sound in that direction.

and who is anyone to question God if he, in his infinite wisdom, decides to bless someone?

you all jump for joy when you think God is against somebody, then shed tears of frustration when God decides to have mercy on that person.

beware of bringing curses on yourselves because you do reap what you sow.

if the funds were lawfully acquired, then shut the heck up.

this jealousy of oyedepo is getting out of hand.

people need to get a life.

if God has decided to bless him with money, what's your own? huh

are your politicians and elected representatives not also rich?

Dawdy: may ur life be long for this!
I've met many christians who said I didn't look like a muslim, yet we are all yorubas.
what's with all this "dont look like" nonsense making the rounds these days.

how are muslims supposed to look? huh

for your information, a lot of (ie some) indigenous yoruba muslims look fulani or araboid.

so? huh
Islam › Re: The Challenges Of Igbo Muslims by tpia5: 7:36am On Jul 31, 2012
i need to let you guys know that there are igbo muslims on nairaland and they are not seeking contracts or favors from any nigerians. i know igbo muslims in my own life, members of my family. islam will enter igbo blood whether you are ready for it or not
these things arent as straightforward as that.

its quite possible a mass conversion of igbos to islam, may end up breaking up the entire se region into its component parts.

if it were that easy, i think islam would have taken root in igboland long before now. Its not for want of trying.

its like saying there'll be a mass conversion of saudis to christianity.

just my opinion.
Family › Re: How Many "Yards" Of Wife Material by tpia5: 7:11am On Jul 31, 2012
relatively few men marry someone because of the sex- most of them get it without marrying, so i doubt they'd consider it a big enough deal to go to the altar over.

hence i did not mention sex in my previous posts.
Romance › Re: Why Dont African American Men And Carribean Men Like 2 Date African Girls? by tpia5:
onila: huh most of my African friends have noticed this

because i remembered one day a guy from barbados came up to talk me. he was friendly and all but once he asked me where am I from

and  I said African. .He felt uncomfortable and walked away huh
actually, when someone asks where you're from and you say africa, its usually because you dont want to answer the question.

didnt know other people also did this.

so, the guy probably walked away not because you said african, but because you didnt want to tell him which country you are.

just guessing of course- could be wrong. But imo, the endless questions about where one is from ,can be annoying sometimes. At this stage, people should be able to tell with a glance, where someone is from.

just saying.

besides, did the guy say he was trying to date you? As per thread title.
