Adedibu met a horrible death at age eighty something? huh

Amazing.

Those of you who are alive had better pray you do something useful instead of waiting like vultures in anticipation of other people's deaths.

Some people will spend the next ten years opening useless threads and then afterwards will blame others for their (the thread openers) failure in life.

Agba n tara.

^You're one of the most pathetic people in this place.

Using the word people very loosely here.

@ pagan niaja

its simply a question of being civil and is more of a reflection on a person's upbringing when you can converse with people who hold different views from you.

@ your seeing God in your enemies post.
Politics › Re: Why Talk So Distastefully Against Your Country Of Birth- Nigerians? by tpia5: 8:37pm On Sep 03, 2011
Its a very primitive and uncivilized mindset encouraged by a weak governmental infrastructure.

You dont see AAs constantly badmouthing their country in spite of the strained history of race relations.
Politics › Re: TINUBU CRITICALLY ILL.FLOWN-OUT OF THE COUNTRY FOR TREATMENT by tpia5: 8:26pm On Sep 03, 2011
An establishment is not supposed to shut down at whim based on whether a particular leader is there or not.

That is the essence of government and one which i assume most diasporan nigerians should know since they always claim they're better off and more exposed than people in nigeria.
Politics › Re: Can A City Like Lagos Suddenly Declare Itself Its Own Country? by tpia5: 8:24pm On Sep 03, 2011
I wonder why people just jump up and agree with any topic, no matter how s.tupid.

As i keep saying, other states should develop and the hawks on nl should hold their governors accountable for theregions under their watch instead of always parroting about lagos.

Gosh, i thought most people here said they're overseas.

Did you learn nothing from your sojourns? huh
Politics › Re: Ambassador Pindar Dies In A Ghastly Motor Accident by tpia5: 8:21pm On Sep 03, 2011
@ topic

well, i hope everybody is happy now.

Geez, its hard claiming nigeria sometimes because the calibre of the ones saying they're nigerian, leaves a lot to be desired.

Why crowing over the death of someone you barely knew as if you yourselves wont die? huh

Very sickening.
Politics › Re: Ambassador Pindar Dies In A Ghastly Motor Accident by tpia5: 8:18pm On Sep 03, 2011
Iya ngbali

please do not further batter the already horrendous image of nigeria.

I assume your frustrations in life no gree you see road again but nevertheless you do not need to type like a f.ool.

As you wish for others, so it shall be for you.

Cant comment yet until i know what's actually going on because a lot of reporters and nlers are semi illiterate and type misleading headlines.
Politics › Re: Nigerians Were Not Attacked In By Rebels In Libya - Minister by tpia5: 8:07pm On Sep 03, 2011
Seriously why are people just speaking out of turn and for no reason these days as if they're on crack.

Was the minister forced to make that statement or has he never heard the phrase silence is golden? huh Meaning there are situations where you keep your mouth shut.

Some user ids are self explanatory.

And self evident.

Anyone following the op with closed eyes will only have themselves to blame really.

Dont know if seun specifically hired her to open d.aft threads on nl.

The supposedly female version of efulefu and mobo999 or maybe they're all the same person.

^My grandma never set eyes on my grandpa before she was fedexed to him, and this was donkey years ago.

In addition, i'm well aware of more recent ones.

Ask around in your family- i'm sure someone has done that at some point in time.

Its fairly common in nigeria and not exclusively linked to one tribe.
Romance › Re: Marry A Chinese Man - A lot of them are Single and Hungry for a Woman by tpia5: 6:47pm On Sep 03, 2011
I mean some of the younger generation, because many of these ones are already hitting the ground running ie more devious than their tutors.
Romance › Re: Marry A Chinese Man - A lot of them are Single and Hungry for a Woman by tpia5: 6:43pm On Sep 03, 2011
Many black women obviously depend on skin colour alone to get a amn.

That wont work in this age of globalization and internet.

I think a lot of we black women need to stop doing itk and work out practical ways to make ourselves more marketable.

I'm not referring to butt shaking, husband snatching or all those jazz methods employed by desperadoes.

Work on characteristics and values rather than f.ooling ourselves with irrelevancies.

Obviously we are being left behind by the competition.

And i think its a defeatist attitude to boast " oh, dont worry, the men always come back sooner or later".

Used goods should stay where they are.

No offence.

Let the younger generation who arent into bad and sneaky habits yet, get their act together.

May God help us all.

We also need info on how the op shat, blew his or her nose, and tu kelebe also.

Since we must be regaled with blow by blow accounts of every minute of her life.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Libya Genocide Facebook Group by tpia5: 6:30pm On Sep 03, 2011
I was wary about using the word genocide but well, what can one do.

The big problem here is when or if a backlash begins it wont be funny.
Politics › Re: Can A City Like Lagos Suddenly Declare Itself Its Own Country? by tpia5: 6:23pm On Sep 03, 2011
Nigerians seem unable to think outside of certain mindsets.

Almost everything and every conversation leads back to one predictable ending.

I wonder why this is so.

Is it from the british? huh

Colonialism and all that.

Or they still fighting for the end of the slave trade centuries after it was abolished.

Curious.

Their words, appearance and actions.

Over time, to eliminate other factors.

Some are really good at hiding it while others arent.

However, no need to be paranoid but just be wise as serpents, like Jesus himself taught.
Christianity Etc › Re: Are Pastors Cashing In On Ember Months? by tpia5: 6:06pm On Sep 03, 2011
Nothing nigerian about the thread.

The year is winding to a close and people everywhere take account of that fact.

The concept of ember months is a western one.

Whatever is going to happen doesnt need to wait until the end of the year before it does.

Human machinations at work here.

Yall need Jesus for sure.
Family › Re: Can Someone Please Explain/Justify: "Wedding In Absentia" by tpia5: 5:56pm On Sep 03, 2011
^Not sure what you mean by new since this is an old custom in nigeria.

Some people have never heard of it probably because they're not very connected to the culture.

The poster opens so many meaningless threads on nl one can only assume s/he is jobless and a troll.

Seriously, what gives? huh

Later they start blaming others for their life problems without bothering to look inwards.
