claremont:
Thailand is one of the foremost tourist destinations in the far east, it has proven to be a top holiday spot for people from all over the world. Nigerians are not allergic to holidays, Nigerians from all over the world also go to Thailand for holidays. It is not all Nigerians that go to Thailand for drugs or scam purposes, I believe most Nigerians who go there are quite legitimate; it is only the fair few illegitimate ones that get all the publicity.

I and a group of lads intend going to Thailand to get a feel of the world-renowned Thai massage. We are not drug pushers, and maybe, just maybe our trip will help to disabuse the minds of people who feel that all Nigerians who go to Thailand do so for drug purposes.
i repeat: WHAT ARE NIGERIANS DOING IN THAILAND!!!!!!

Why do you people tend to forget yourselves in this irritating manner? huh

and yes- most of you go to places like that for nefarious reasons, so save your lies for someone else who doesnt know you.

lastly, plz reread your post then ask yourself if you're ok, because a sane black man doesnt boast about going somewhere to "get a feel of the reknowned thai massage" which is probably administered by transexuals as a matter of fact.

must you be whiter than the whites?

Foreign Affairs › Re: Libyan Rebels Wary Of Sub-saharan Africans by tpia5: 5:34am On Sep 02, 2011
With all the violence against non-indigenous people in the north of Nigeria, there are still tousands who choose to remain in the north. According to your theory, these people that continue to stay in the north are all idiots.
your words, not mine.

what I am saying is do not stay in any place that's too dangerous, and especially when there's a breakdown of law and order such as happens during a civil war or civil unrest.

why are there still black africans in libya after 6 months of war- did they not have the chance to leave before now? huh Why wait until the rebels reached your doorstep, in which case it would take divine intervention to not fall into their hands? huh
Foreign Affairs › Re: Libyan Rebels Wary Of Sub-saharan Africans by tpia5: 5:30am On Sep 02, 2011
Until the war, we had never heard of any widescale organised persecution of blacks in Libya
yes we did.

many Nigerian men and women were making a life for themselves in the country.
not wise.

Which country likes immigrants?
no country likes immigrants but immigrants themselves should be more picky about where they migrate to. And then, not permanently.

my opinion!!

Black people are not liked in many European countries including the UK (This is proven by the rise of number of voters for far right parties in France, UK, Nethrlands e.t.c.) but yet we countinue to troop there on a daily basis.
thanks to the visa officials and nigerian leaders.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Libyan Rebels Wary Of Sub-saharan Africans by tpia5: 5:27am On Sep 02, 2011
It is even more difficult if your roots have been planted deeply in your host country/ community
how can your roots be planted deeply in an arab country if you're a black african?

i dont get your logic.

What would you have had the indigenous black population of Libya do?
some of their towns are already being wiped out by the rebels.

tawergha, for instance.

Sollom said his Boston group knew of about 500 Darfuris who are desperately trying to get out of Libya
shouldnt nigerians be doing the same.

must you wait until forced out of a war zone before you attempt to leave? huh

i dont understand this.

Libyans seem to have forgotten the role our fathers played, as soldiers of the West Africa Frontier Forces in cold Tobruk to liberate them from Fascism,” he noted
would like to know more about this.

Under Muammar Gaddafi, Nigerians were hounded. In the present dispensation, there is no difference
and yet they keep trooping there. undecided

smh.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Libyan Rebels Wary Of Sub-saharan Africans by tpia5: 3:31am On Sep 02, 2011
You have a point about the stupidity of running to a place where you are not liked.
does it take a rocket scientist to know the folly of migrating to places like that? huh

unless most of these people are being held in libya against their will, why didnt they leave when the fighting first started? huh

a black arab was lynched months ago after being accused of mercenary activity, and i'm surprised there are still some black africans in that place.

lord have mercy.

@2buff

enough with the expiry talk.

@topic

never too late as they say.

What you need to do is lower your standards a bit if you really are searching for a man.

Dont come across as haughty or stuck up since this will reduce your chances of finding someone who isnt an unsavoury type.

By lowering your standards i mean dont exclude men who might not be as educated or rich as you.

And develop a thicker skin btw. The expiry talk isnt gonig to end any time soon and 40 is a bit late for a nigerian woman to still be looking for a husband. People havent yet been westernised to the extent that they'll consider it normal for a woman of 30+ to remain unmarried.

We're getting there but havent quite reached it yet.

Also, pray without ceasing and try to not be sneaky because that's usually counter productive.

norrisman:
There could be black and maybe even Nigerian mercenaries in Libya but the majority of these people we have seen captured on TV do not look like mercenaries. If they were, Gadaffi must have used juju cos he must have been paying them peanuts as they all look unkept and dirt poor! They would have been better off staying in Nigeria, getting a few AK47s and robbing banks with all that  mercenary courage they have.
with the "peles" on their faces and going by their professed line of work, we dont really know for sure they werent in the armed robbery business while in nigeria.
