FamilyRe: Is Knowing That Your Spouse Has Been Unfaithful Enough Reason For Divorce? by tpiah2: 9:30pm On Aug 14, 2009
well, most Naija men see adultery on the wife's part as grounds enough for divorce, though they insist on the wife forgiving them should they ever do the same.

I did hear they're more lenient with their foreign wives sha.
since it is only us here, let us talk frankly, as guys sometimes we mess up and sometimes it is not our fault but we have a fight with our girls, what are the things they do after fight that makes u uneasy about the relationship or the after effects or even create a cloud of doubt on your future together. mine , if it takes forever for her to drop the issue or she starts singing unnecessarily after the fight, especially if she sings songs like Mariah Carey - "Always Be My Baby" and stresses the part that "you'll always be a part of me, i'm a part of you indefinitely, ", now that is freaky! cry cry cry
if you had sex with her she'll always be a part of you forever nah.

So why start quoting Mariah carey unnecessarily? huh

btw, I almost forgot

TheSeeker, are you a cultist? the others too.

If you are, abeg keep the cultic lingo for fellow cultists oh- I dont appreciate that kind of jazz.

I know this place is full of cultists and satanists but it doesnt mean everyone in this world has to be the same.

If my question offends you then chalk it down to my usual nature.
RomanceRe: What Does She Want From Me? by tpiah2: 6:45pm On Aug 14, 2009
being shy doesnt mean you cant see what's right before your eyes.

Will your shyness prevent you being beaten up by the boyfriend, if he's the type who does that?

and besides, maybe you're mistaken about her intentions.
CultureRe: Osun -- State Of The Living Spring! Identify Here by tpiah2: 6:37pm On Aug 14, 2009
how many state universities are in Yorubaland now?

I think each state in Nigeria has a university though I'm not sure.

CelebritiesRe: Wat About The Father Of Genevieve's Child by tpiah2: 6:26pm On Aug 14, 2009
but why doesnt she want to marry?

Men no finish for town nah.

Even if she has 10 children that wont prevent any interested guy from marrying her.

Unless she just wants her daughter to grow up before she starts dating.
.

For example, I havent seen Asian women acting a fool, cussing people out, fighting in the streets, rolling their necks or any of that shit, but EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE I've seen a black woman act like that, not even exaggerating.
I feel your pain!

but try to move out of the ghetto!

and if all the black women you know are acting like that around you, then maybe you're the cause! In which case women of other races will also "perform" for you in their own way!

Not that I'm saying you should date black women oh. Dont read me wrong.
IslamRe: Prophet Muhammad Foretold Of Indecent Dressing & Attachment Hair- Denizen Of Hel by tpiah2: 6:11pm On Aug 14, 2009
Solomon was a king.

That's different from being a prophet even if you're considering the concept of divine right to rule.

Building the temple didnt make him a prophet either, imo. He was still a king.
Christianity EtcRe: Kumuyi Floats Tv Stationkumuyi by tpiah2: 6:08pm On Aug 14, 2009
great idea, I guess.

I keep hearing of these Nigerian Christian stations but I'm yet to witness any of them.

Do they have websites and do they broadcast abroad?

People move en masse to Ife because, first, it's the most beautiful campus (the beauty alone accords it a lot of respect). Again, it's a school with the strictest admission prerequisites. You've got to be an "efiko" to study there; the courses are strict too.

There aren't many universities like OAU though, that's why they have a lot of students applying every year to get admitted there (I don't know about now though). The universities that can compete with OAU's popularity are : ABU (almost next to OAU in beauty), UNILAG (big boys and girls go there), U.I. (because it's the first university). I'm not sure of UNIBEN, UNIPORT, UDU and the rest. But those three universities I earlier mentioned can compete with OAU's popularity

Dayo, abi I lie? wink
yes, ABU is very popular though its in the north.

all the Osun and Oyo indigenes here went to Ife?

Is it a routine thing- who then attends UI and Unilag? Other states?

Tpia, sorry if you found that very offensive. I didn't mean for it to come out to you like that. It was just an expression and I didn't specifically related that to you, rather I did to the generalization of what people requested. Again, sorry!
no problem!

I just find that people like to threaten others a lot but I doubt the majority understand the implications of what they're saying, since karma is indeed a natural law.

I thought people said wearing agbada shows African values instead of western ones.

Anyway, great job but the garden has to be monitored so it doesnt turn into something else.

TheSeeker and others like that better watch your words oh.

I know of break a leg but I dont know about this killer and hanging stuff.

In any case, one shouldnt just blindly repeat everything one hears without first analysing it.

hope you all saw it.

Dont quote me oh undecided

and enough with the personal questions and whatnot.

Dont know why people always think its such a big deal to know other people's personal info.

Am not Bill Gates abeg- its all just idle gossip and I could care less.

I'm not queasy about things like that.  I just consider it extremely bad manners to go around exposing your gossipy nature like an old hen.

Everyone's asking for your picture, so I was thinking an exhibition of pictures is about to commence. ". . . let the body hang" part means start posting your pictures. wink
well, thats a poor choice of words.

Just the other day someone was threatening me with otapiapia (poison) and I've been having headaches ever since then. Dont know if the fellow has already sent someone to poison me oh!

Let me see, who was that- either redsun or somebody else. I have to check that post.

But dont use language you wouldnt appreciate should the "joke" happen to you.

I find people doing that a lot these days, and its quite sickening.
