IFELEKE:how many times do you think I've been banned? ten? ![]() |
Beaf:abeg go and sit down. who do you think you're fooling? if you're from the south south or midwest stop trying to pull the wool over people's eyes by pretending you're making a distinction. Havent you attacked Yorubas either directly or indirectly on this forum before. Nevertheless, there is the same derogatory attitude to education between all Northern states and it is a dangerous thingno one is arguing with that but it doesnt mean there are no educated northerners. |
what's with the picture? |
cooljade:is that so? ![]() maybe in polygamous families sha. anyway, @ topic: you're setting yourself up for massive disappointment if your world view is this simplistic when it comes to relationships. |
IFELEKE:Really? You dont seem like you've ever been banned before. Seun or whoever is welcome to unban any of my ids whenever they're so inclined. |
That we shall make the country ungovernable, kill and eliminate irresponsible political leaders of all leanings,um. Isnt that always the purported aim of all these revolutionaries? ![]() na today? whoever organized the boko harem has the same boss as the rest of them regardless of location. assuming the letter is authentic that is. |
where is it. |
IFELEKE:"they" claim its a robot spambot which automatically bans you for posting spam like messages (thats the reason I got for this latest one). But I dont believe the hype. Remii:let me see if I can find where I stored the pictures (not right now though). Like I said, I'm not Halle Berry so you'd probably be better occupied checking out some real eye candy elsewhere? Them plenty for here. |
About the marriage thing, yes, it's most common among Yoruba. That's because families are always getting their dirty noses in people's business. They won't let you be. Yoruba has a character which I detest very much; they don't look out for the best in your wife, they look for her flaws so they'd attack from there. Thyey like their sons to marry who they(the family) can control and tell what to do. They always set their eyes on his assets. If the man doesn't want to get married to another woman, they can make him(there are voodoos).quite true, and very unfortunate. |
Remii:again? ![]() I flashed it before nah, and I think it was at your request too. why do you need to see it twice, when its not like I'm Halle berry. ![]() IFELEKE:i guess he could have done it without without running for a second term. And created jobs for most of the retrenched workers as well. Oh well, we all learn from our mistakes. He meant well but unfortuanately life is hard back home. |
so nobody knows the truth of this matter for sure? |
na wa oh!! You dey inside real wahala. |
I dont see why there's a problem unless I'm missing something. Is he complaining his wife is addicted to facebook? Or is he saying she's having an affair on facebook? there's a difference between the two, and if its the former, then he should just open an account and add her to his friends list. If she's simply catching up with people then what's he worried about. However, if there's evidence she's having an affair or in danger of falling into one, then he needs to find a solution to the issue. Distract her with something else if possible. The woman probably doesnt want him monitoring her if she's engaging in a lot of info sharing (aka gossip) with her friends. |
umhum, we hear you. ![]() let's give our men a chance to show their authenticity. ![]() |
anyway, I don vacate una thread for una, so nobody better call my name again here OR ELSE |
una don carry una As long as you can hold your liquor and hide from the skinheads and their sympathizers, you should be fine! |
ikeyman00 is there a particular reason why you keep following me around? especially after I called you out on FL Gators the other day? in any case, did I lie? Or arent you one of the people who are solidly against Lagos? |
Is Ikeyman sleeping, did he not see this thread, or does he disbelieve the reporter. |
but you sure Ekiti all speaks same language? Cuz sometimes when some Ekiti talk, I could never understand themI think they do, though I could be wrong. Akande was the best governor osun people had but he made a costly mistake towards the tail end of his tenure by embarking on mass retrenchment in the civil service esp. teaching though the move was economically and morally correct but it was a worst political gamble because the PDP rode on that to turn civil servants against him(by the way civil servants constitute the bulk of the electorate in osun). . .and he lost.what he did wasnt too bad but in a third world country like Nigeria, it would only increase the hardship and suffering of the people, and his detractors would seize the opportunity to destabilize him. Were there other job opportunities available for the retrenched workers? I'm guessing not- many of them would probably have to leave the state in search of work elsewhere most likely. |
Does Dayokanu share a birthday with Xoxoxo? ![]() anyway, many happy returns. |
ikeyman00:believe what you want. If you're not drunk, I'm sure you realize your sole Igbo contributions to this forum only consists of abusing Yorubas in the name of being Igbo. There are Igbo threads populated by Igbo people but I've never seen you in any one of them.Neither have I ever seen you having anything that even has the resemblance of a discussion with your fellow Igbos. Isnt that what you should be working on, instead of following tpia around in this embarassing manner. So try to get your ducks in a row instead of jumping from pillar to post all the time like a lost goose? |
TheSeeker:but looking at the present cabinet, I dont think non-indigenes outnumber indigenes. At least not that I can see so far. Tinubu probably had more outsiders in his own administration because he traced his roots to another state outside lagos. And are you certain there were more non-lagosians? ![]() TheSeeker:I also noticed among the Yoruba, its quite common for relatives and friends to pressure a man into taking another wife, even if he prefers to be monogamous. Especially traditional families, though this attitude can also be found in Christian ones. If the man and his wife resist the pressure to be polygamous, his relatives can attack the wife and blacklist her for not allowing her husband to take on extra wives. To me, this is a very puzzling mentality. |
