Going by the number of women who have a beef withor crush on whitelexi, and the way he handles the allegations, it would seem the main problem may be he has a friendly nature and is naturally egregious and comfortable around females. Such an attitude normally lends itself to women palava at the end of the day, because he makes each of them feel special, and it makes any shock greater after all's said and done. The names mentioned on the thread in question, may be a mix up I assume. There was some similar problem in the webmaster forum which I looked at, and which seems to have been cleared up now. Though of course I could be mistaken. Although of course not exchanging insults doesnt necessarily make someone a saint, since Omo Ibo doesnt always exchange words but still manages to pass some abuse across when he wants to. |
abi. well, thats people's personality. The mean girl will still have people who interact with her as she is. If you're not careful she may even end up as your boss and you the employee. The "happy" ones, on the other hand, often have their "happiness" as their major reward, and little else besides the good reputation. |
nothing wrong with her checking his phone, imo. She was gone for two whole months. Sometimes a woman has intuition about these things. He could have sounded dodgy during one of their phone conversations while she was away. She could have heard a female voice in the background. Or she simply had the feeling (from his demeanour), something wasnt right. That same intuition could save the guy from harm someday, who knows (if he hasnt booted himself out of the marriage by then). |
some other tentative proposed Yoruba states (tendered on the basis of ethnicity): Ibadan state- from current Oyo state Ijebu state- from Ogun state Akure state- from Ondo state Oduduwa state- from Osun state Ijesha state- from Osun state I dont know if other Yoruba states are also being requested. these states, if approved, would increase the total number of Yoruba states to 11, though without a corresponding increase in land mass. |

maxsiollun:true. I'm reading a very detailed account of the events of Jan 1966 and they're quite grisly, to say the least. I havent gotten around to analysing your book yet, I'm afraid. Maybe I should take time off Nairaland to read it. I have quite a few books on Nigerian history I'm trying to go through and I really dont know when I'll finish them all. |
probably to get or receive the lowdown on the Boko haram crisis. On the other hand, that kind of stress is enough to disturb anybody's health. Bauchi isnt that far from Abuja nah. |
I agree some people are always angry, though I cant say I know anyone who's always angry all the time. Even on nairaland. However, if someone around me seems to be under tension most of the time, then maybe I could be contributing to the person's ill humor? Just a thought. No man is an island and if someone is getting angrier than everyone else, then its just possible they're intentionally or unintentionally doing something to displease the person, and in that case, I'd give him/her a wide berth until s/he calms down, if I dont understand that kind of temperament. True, some people have short fuses while others dont. Everyone cant be the same. |
poster whatever the reason for your hatred, posting on an internet forum is of little use. As you say you unhate today, you can still rehate tomorrow. So forgive yourself first, na today nairalanders dey type? ![]() |
