“If the intervention of the Ohaneze Ndigbo National leader is not recognized, we shall be left with no choice than to seek redress through struggle,” Okpalaezeukwu insisted.
Someone said he has 2 existing court orders so what stops them from going to report to the courts that the orders have been violated and ask for compensation?
Has the umbrella group of any ethnic group ever involved themselves in such matters? Is Ukachukwu bloders the only Igbo people with properties in Abuja?
With all these nonsense how would anyone take you people seriously?

Lolz they even gave “one week ultimatum” very hilarious If not for your primitive mentality, you claim that you got “two court orders” against the demolition, why not go back to the court to seek redress and ask for compensation? Who gets two court orders on the same property especially when there’s no problem ab initio?
16 plots of land equals 1 hectare of land
Ukachukwu blodas want to steal 16 x241 plots of land in Asokoro in broad daylight thinking they can use claim of ethnic victim hood to have their way.
Your ohaneze have already become a national circus. They will soon wade into the matter of that Igbo man that was sacked for stealing company property. That is how debased and comical they have become. |

There are a very few Aro settlers in not more than three Ikwerre villages. They came many years ago running away from persecution at the time. These people are not even up to 150 in total and they know themselves. They are mainly farm helps and restricted from doing many things like the indigenes so how does this make Ikwerre Igbo? |

sleek214: Why would anyone think of extending tenure of LGA chairmen. Wike must be Mad Is the governor ready to conduct election? No. This is actually one of the problems he started with Wike which was totally unnecessary and uncalled for. He assumed office and just within 2 months, he wants to sack the elected chairmen and appoint caretakers, because he wants to build 'his own structure'. These people were in the trenches and made him governor without him making any input so why not work with them, even if its for his first term or at least conduct a normal election at the end of their tenure? Why the desperation when there's nothing at stake? Wike and his people said he should wait for their tenure to expire and then conduct election but he didn't want that. Now, their tenure is expiring and he is not making any plan to conduct election because his plan is still in appointing caretakers that he hopes will be loyal to him, based on the advise he got from people that Wike and his group fought to put him there. What do u call that? He's behaving like a demonic child who believes his existence means the death of his mother. So, they expect Rivers State Working Committee that is in Wike’s pocket to submit Wike’s name as one of those that played anti party?
Those vagabonds will rather submit Uche Secondus, Austin Opara, Lee Maeba’s names.
Now, what will NWC do if Rivers SWC doesn’t submit Wike’s name? It would therefore mean that Wike did not play anti party abi?

Whalis: Let me educate you a little. I know your hatred for Ikwerre people as exemplified and shown towards Wike is beyond imagination. Ikwerre land had been occupied by Igbos before and during the war. Read Elechi Amadi's Sunset in Biafra. The issue of Abandoned Property was Federal Government policy and Ikwerre people never contributed or benefitted from it. Rather it was Ikwerre people who lost their lands particularly to Ijaws as they had the reach during this period. The Igbos were going to Enugu to receive letter of allocation of land belonging to Ikwerre people. They would just come and show you a paper that your ancestral they covetted had been handed over to them. They were in charge. They would go bank to the bank of eastern Nigeria to receive loan to develop the land. Some of these loans weren't paid before the war broke out. At the end of the war government set up an enquiry to investigate this. Those who were yet to pay back their loans government seized the property they were developing with it. This was how most properties were declared abandoned. Those who could show prove of loan repayment were given back their property. Ikwerres weren't in the driving seat of the state then so wouldn't have influenced this or benefitted from this in any way. The Ijaws were in charge then and benefitted more to the disadvantages of the Ikwerres. Stop hating the ikwerres because of this as they didn't benefit. You just wasted your time writing to a senseless swine who already has his mind made up on the lies he wants to feed to his unborn generation. They are just wilfully stupid, idiotic, bitter, pathetic and irredeemable. |

festacman: Why is it so difficult to accept that Awolowo wanted to secure economic advantage for his people. It might not have worked as he anticipated due to the survival instinct and innate mercantile capabilities of Igbo people. Yes, from hindsight, it looks heartless but from ethnic competition and rivalry points of view, the policy was logical as a war tool to gain advantage.
It is the same with Ikwere people seizing properties of Igbo in Port Harcourt as abandoned property to get even while properties of Igbo in Lagos and Northern Nigeria remained untouched. Today, Ikwere estate fortunes in Port Harcourt remain inferior to those of Igbo.
Mean things happen during wars. Crazy things happen in the history of every nation. Even the Pope had to apologize for certain things the Church did in the past.
The fact is that events of yesterday are supposed to guide us today dealings as we march into Tomorrow. Forward ever, backward never! You are very stvpid for bringing Ikwerre into this with your false accusation possibly fed to you by your shameless and thieving parents. I’m sure you are the first in your lineage to ever step foot in Portharcourt, but you come here to talk about non existent abandoned property taken by Ikwerre. Go and continue doing your inferior or superior people and estate fortune with your fellow idiotic and shallow minded Ibos and leave Ikwerre people out of your madness. Very smelly idi0t you are. |

It means Wike has dealt Fubara a heavy blow somewhere below the waist.
I do not feel any sympathy for Wike, not like my sympathy would do anything meaningful, but Wike has seen that Power is transient.
One day this same Fubara that some people are supporting with moral sympathy will behave in the same way like his Boss Wike.
Politicians are like that, Fubara is not an angel, he is just playing victimisation.
That was the same thing Obaseki did, see him today, he is worse than OSHIOMOLE.
NIGERIAN POLITICIANS ARE ALL THE SAME, ZERO PRINCIPLES Fubara may be sponsoring some people but this particular one is from those bitter hateful primitive people that are angry that Wike refused to let them force their ethnic identity on him and infect him with their hatred for others. Foolish Governor! SIM only blunder is actually starting an unnecessary fight too soon. The fight is totally uncalled for, as they were not fighting for anything. He should have at least worked with the structure/people that fought to make him governor (including the LGA Chairmen), in his first term.
