Na so it should be for us here If there is going to be a particular niche sales, na here it supposed be. Report in NPs , wait for them until they spoil market for you. They don't win price for there. Be wiser more. Congrats to recent sellers. |

thorrvik55: Too bad this is just for Luno alone.. No place order on Quidax Actually, it is on Quidax. I just browsed through the site now. Click on Exchange, scroll down and you will see the Trades, Order Book, Chart and where you can Place Order to either buy or sell crypto. There is an option LIMIT and MARKET. Experiment with the two but I believe what you should use of LIMIT. Just look at the Order Book and use buyers' highest price as the limit price you want to sell for. Hmmmmm. Still going through Quidax, at first glance it seems to have more action (trades and volume) than Luno. Also has a higher BTC/NGN rate.

tranxo: If you work online, (not just domaining) get paid in USD, AND have BTC as a payout option, use it.
Sell it at 470)/$ (Luno experience) and when you want to make USD purchases, you will only spend 395/$ (GTB).
A nice arbitrage strategy. Also, if you use Luno (actually this should apply to other places), do not just click on Sell when you want to sell your BTC. Fees you will pay with this is usually higher than marketplace fees. Just locate the marketplace and click Place Order. Before this, just look at the Order Book to note the highest price buyers are willing to sell buy (the left row that appeared in green), and place your order using this price. You will still get an instant execution depending on the amount you are selling, but with a lower market fees. As at today, 1$ is around N453 on Luno

OCEANS7: Someone earlier commented on this, and gave some very good advice. In addition to what was said, when choosing a niche/geo take a sec to analyze what that particular service is doing (in that city) on Google trends... Some cities have a good market for some services, while others don't.
When a sale is reported for an xyz service, don't assume its gonna sell in similar manner for you across board... Here's an assignment that (might) help turn your fortunes... Pick like 4 or 5 service keywords...(study them) Have a clear picture of what cities/regions that patronize such services. Have a clear knowledge of what wording people associate with such service in their searches...Master this, and then (along with the requisite geo domaining knowledge you already have) you can start fishing out names from ED or even coin out sellable names on your own.
2 other important factors (Pricing & Patience) ... Be realistic with your pricing and have a VERY healthy dose of patience in this game.
I'm not speaking as a "guru" -NO! I'm speaking from the standpoint of someone who genuinely feels your plight & would love to hear your testimonies in a very short while.
Las... las... Man is just a channel. GOD is always the SOURCE! You are a guru. |

TheSTreetman: I'm not an expert in appraisal but I'll advise you to stick to domains that sells. Many are afraid to appraise domains so they don't look like a fool if the domain sells tomorrow.
Look for domains in Cities + Products or services niche . Don't venture into States cause it'll be hard for you to sell.
A state in USA is like the whole of South Western Nigeria and it'll be hard for a Plumbing service in a particular cities to cover the whole state except they're big Company but its rare. That's why most geo domains that sells daily are Cities.
Also focus on top tier Keywords
Cities + Plumbing Cities + Roofing Cities + Movers Cities + Moving Cities + Painting Cities + Attorney Cities + Lawyer Cities + Photography Cities + Photographer Cities + Limo Cities + poolbuilders Cities + ScreenPrinting Cities + bankruptcy attorney Cities + realty Cities + Limos Cities + Towing Cities + Floors Cities + Flooring
e.t.c
I know this type of domains are hard to drop and even if they managed to, Dropcatch is waiting for them but it's better you hold onto your money rather than gnash your teeth when your domains ain't selling. Don't rush, Take your time and study the sales reports.
Goodluck to us all.

Phones › Re: I Just Got Scammed by tranxo(m): 7:56am On Aug 28, 2020 |
Boozah: Hello nairalanders. I would love to share my bitter experience today. It all happened by 5.30pm. I had a chat with a seller on jiji and we agreed on a price. I got to his shop and inspectred and saw all phones were sealed. So a receipt was issued and it was written tested and okay. I paid through transfer and left thanking god i managed to get a brand new phone.
By the time i got back home, I tore the nylon as usual. However i heard a sound . I opened the box and saw the phone had flipped. I took out the screen protector, the phone was on. Inshort the phone was a refurbished phone. I felt sad and scammed. I called the shop and they start telling me sorry, that they did not know its refurbished .but i saw them all sealed in nylon. I later discover that the seal tape was missing. The imei sticker at the back was missing, lo and behold the screen was poorly glued. They promised to replace a brand new one. Now the question is how will i be sure brand new one is brand new one.
Nigerian crooks can get anywhere to get the seal sticker before opening it as brand new. I feel so stupid right now. All this happened at iwo road, inside a nice shop to fool ppl. I feel so ashmed. i paid 135k but got refurbished phone of 70k worth. Blame only YOURSELF for not being street smart. You enta market, buy NYLON and CARTON, and collected receipt that says PHONE TESTED and OKAY. So who tested it and confirmed it okay? You MUST ALWAYS test phones INSIDE the shop before leaving, after you have paid. And don't allow them write Tested and Okay until it has been tested and confirmed okay by YOU inside the shop. You are now on a long thing because you avoided known outlets and thought Jiji will give you a great deal. |

eaddyboy: I wanted submitting an unregistered name but I got this response from SH. I checked their market place again but the name is not there, even at registrars too the name is still available for registration, what could be wrong It means someone has submitted the name before. It may be pending review, or had been rejected. From my experience, (from a name I bought on NP that sold on SH), you may stand a chance of getting the name accepted if you register it before submitting again. |
