The fact that you have won the appeal and you have been called show that you are on your way to getting the visa. However, from experience and based on the circumstances of your sponsor's bank statement, there's is an appropriate time for you to show up at the embassy.

For professional advice advice and assistance, you can contact Travelcare Consults through email: travelcare.consults@gmail.com or if very urgent you can call Olawale on 08023809767 or 016663625.

Travel / Re: Bank Account Statement For Swedish Student Residence Permit! by travelcare: 8:30pm On Jun 11, 2009
For Swedish Residence Permit as a student, you are expected to fund yourself and no sponsor is required. You need to have good flow into and out of your account. Putting a lump sum without a normal flow or growth in your account is a bad account. For instance, your balance as at 5th June was N1m and the next deposit as at today is N4m making your total balance to be N5m is bad account if you want to apply for a permit/visa.

@MyHiDsDaar

Your passport will be regarded as valid if the validity of the passport is equal to at least the duration of your study or visit to the United Kingdom. If the validity of the passport is less, you cannot use the passport, its better you take it to the NIS for extension.

Answers to your questions

1. You can get the UK visa application forms for any category at the UK visa application centers, at the British High Commission/British Deputy High Commission or online at http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply/vafs/ for all the forms you'll need.

2. This http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/resources/en/docs/ecgdocs/studentover18flowchart answers your second question

3. As a Tier 4 (General Student) you'll need a valid Passport, Your Visa letter (from your school), supporting documentations (e.g your previous certificates, your leave letter if you're employed, Sponsor's documents) and click here for important requirements of the Point Based System (PBS) http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/features/applyingtostudy

Travelcare Consults is NOT a visa agent but a travel/immigration consultancy outfit. We only guide and give advice and assistance (where necessary) to our clients.

Howerver, on the Australian travel, please read this:

The Australian government no longer provides visa services in Nigeria.  All visa applications are processed at the Australian High Commission in Pretoria, South Africa, (Tel: +27 12 423 6000).  Phone enquiries can be made between 0830 and 1530 hrs Pretoria time.  E-mail enquiries can be sent to: pretoria.nigeria@dfat.gov.au.

All enquiries should be directed to Pretoria as the Australian High Commission in Nigeria does not have any staff trained in immigration or visa issues.

Visa application forms can be collected from DHL offices in Abuja, Lagos or Port Harcourt, or can be downloaded from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship website.  All information about visas and immigration can also be found on this website.

All visa applications must be lodged and paid for through one of the following DHL offices as they are the only ones which have the appropriate information and systems in place for sending the applications to Pretoria.

Abuja
DHL International (Nigeria) Ltd
Plot 519 Adetokunba Ademola Crescent

Phone: +234 9 234 6557

Port Harcourt

You need not to be confused! You have an offer and you have paid for your course of study, all you need do is package your visa application documents which must include the evidence of payment and completed application form. You stand a good chance if your supporting documents are intact and okay.

If you are applying as a student into the UK this September, your visa application should begin by June in order to meet up with the 3 months visa application rule. Your offer of admission must also be unconditional (ie, you must have fulfiled all conditions in the admission process).

You should be able to know which category you fall into if you have a purpose in the UK. Your travel to China and Dubai can help you especially when you can show proof of your business deals in China and Dubai. You will be applying in the business category and all you need do is have a contact with the companies or manufacturers in the UK you want to be dealing with and they can invite you in that regard. Travel / Re: My Appeal With The British Tribunal Pls Advice by travelcare: 8:26pm On May 27, 2009
Well, if your appeal has been decided, the best way to prove it is a written form of the appeal process leading to the final determination. If however, you have gotten the decision in a written form and the embassy has not called you, from experience, when you receive your decision as being allowed by an Immigration Judge, in the Respondent pack, a form will be included in the notice which shows that an unward right of appeal has been given to the Respondent to appeal against the decion of the Judge, this is called 'application for reconsideration' where the Respondent is expected to state the grounds on which there has been an err, ie, where a section or any part of the relevant immigration laws has been wrongfuly interpreted leading to that decion. It could be that the Respondent is currently doing so and that is why you are experiencing the delay. Be patient and pray that the application for reconsideration is refused, that is when they will call you (if that is what is going on).

Good luck

@poster

Have u been to Nigeria before (I guess your boyfriend is a Nigerian). The first thing you should do if you are really serious about the relationship is to visit your BF at least once at his home country, this is to nullify the notion by the American Consulate that the relationship is 'arrangee'. Make your moves legit by taking steps accordingly, your evidence of visits to him and other activities can help the situation, otherwise, I see it as 'arrangee'. Good luck in your relationship.

Travel / Re: Do You Have These Problems? by travelcare: 6:22pm On Mar 08, 2009
These type of replies are not new to Travelcare Consults. Such replies help us live to expectation by facing the challenges from the public and by that we continue to build on our solid foundation.

At Travelcare, we dont procure visa for people and we are never those that will say "bring money and we will get you visa" because we are not the embassy. Yes! potential travelers can get information from the embassy but the issue of experience cannot be ruled out. As a first time applicant, you can get the necessary information from the embassy and that would not always guaranty you a visa! Where experience is needed in relevant cases is our focus and our area of offering guidance/assistance to our numerous clients.

We are never offended by whatever reactions we get here on Nairaland because we believe in individual differences and people view situations differently. We still have to thank you for having the time to post something here but Travelcare Consults will never cease on posting topics that will be of benefit to the public. We wont be chased away!

We still sieze this oppotunity to say if you have problems packaging your application or you have other problems relating to your travel/visa, please, contact Travelcare Consults via email travelcare.consults@gmail.com or call 016663625 or if very urgent, call Olawale on 08023809767 or come to our office:
