my point exactly. He can reject for himself, and they will comply. She can reject for herself, and they will comply, but she can't reject for him, and he can't reject for her. ok. Look at it this way. There are laws and standards and protocols. Using bank accounts or pensions as an example, my wife doesn't automatically become my next of kin implicitly cos she is my wife, until I have filled the necessary forms making her the next of kin. Same applies in this case. How does she prove that her husband agreed to the plan? Next of kin is something that is officially documented. My wife is not my next of kin, in/on every thing

Not all jw, follow all the rules, all the time. The case you quoted, you said your self that it was his choice, in this case, most here are just assuming it was his choice as well, simply cos na jw. Many have echoed your conclusion here, but it is not entirely correct. If the family really wants to take her up, she is in serious trouble. The point/fact is how does she PROVE that the husband consented to her not allowing transfusion under any cirscumstance? The laws of the country tho shambolic is still weightier than any gaddem doctrine, and I can tell you not all jw follow all the rules all the time. She is in soup, unless she is lucky to escape the wrath of her in-laws somehow. If it was someone who wasn't of age eg their child, that can hold water, but for a full grown man she would have to prove explicitly that he was on board with the plan, but she can't cos he is dead as a door nail

Many ladies are hypocrites.. You may hear many ladies saying "men are cheats", but many of them are hypocrites...Many men show openly that they are sinners, but many ladies pretend to be good, but might be fornicating/cheating codedly and acting disciplined in public.. It is very possible that this woman caught committing adultery may be the one forcing her husband to go for church program or might be always telling him to be prayerful or might be persuading him to always be committed to God. Maybe she even bought her husband devotional or bible not long before committing that act.

Who knows the kind of bride price list that was given to the husband before marriage... Some will even have sex with maybe ex or someone before wedding day.....
