One only wonders if at the end of the day one of the faiths or dnominations been brutally castigated now is actually the choice of God. What will God do to you?

How come i no see you? Why arent you posting anti catholic threads with so much beef and venom like pilgrim. I have not done so. Posting pictures of what people saw surely should not be regarded as insulting Catholics - especially when these matters were not done in a closet. All the same, I didn't set out to insult anyone; and that is why I rather went to another thread and shared matters on these subjects without zero-ing in on Catholic insigna. That's funny because i know its only catholics that honour mary and there are alot statutes attributed to mary and apparitions in the form of mary that is synonymous to catholics. Generally when there is a rumour or news that the blessed virgin mary has been sited somewhere, which denomination is usually ascribed to be closely related with such issues.

from the little i have seen in the past catholic threads were you were a scourge, the members there decided to ignore you and all your feeble entries and hand shake of friendship were rebuffed. Glory to Jesus Honour to Mary

I am glad to introduce myself in this thread as a proud catholic. Many of you might not know that i googled this exact heading and this forum came up. I went through most of the threads and the posts on this forum and i found out how devoted and honourable you guys are to the catholic church.

My only point of concern was reading through all these posts and seeing some very scathering remarks about the church from anti-catholics. Naturally, it wouldnt bother me because of the freedom of expression inherent in this world but i took particular interest in these people pilgrim, cgift and debosky.

They were everywhere raining all sorts of accusations and counter accusations against the church and having a field day. I later read when you guys decided to ignore them and peace reigned. What marveled me is despite this peace, they still came back through the back door to attack catholicism without knowing anything about these people.

Unfortunately for them, i stumbled upon a thread that had to do with that pilgrim fellow and i couldnt believe what i read. Despite all the scathering remarks against catholics and making her self look extremely academic in theological issues, she had a flaw in her system.

She posted a thread about how she converted from being a muslim to a christian and i couldnt hold back the laughter.

Here is a person that goes about denouncing catholics as worshippers of idols and praying to mary and she tells us how she converted because of her love for european christian boys and goes as far as telling the whole world that because the boyfriend was ill one night she now decided to pray with him after he told her to do so and miraculously after the prayer, the boy jumped up from his chair and hugged her and he was finally well and that sole event was the miracle that made her change from a muslim to a christian and to an anti-catholic.

How hilarious to say the least. I can image how many catholics would have died of laughter after reading such a story. I have heard of miracles and i do believe in miracles sanctioned by God but this one was too good to be true.

i immediately joined nairaland and posted an immediate rebuttal to that claim. I gave her a partial dose of her own medicine and challenged her to prove the veracity of such a silly claim that made her change faith so suddenly because of a boy. I realised that the original post was locked as no one could reply because she was recieving the heat from some people maybe catholics i duuno but the moderator did her a favour to protect her which was very strange to me compared to all the horrible things she has said on this thread.

immediately i posted my rebuttal to her miraculous 8th wonder of the world, immediately after her reply, the thread was locked again. I got puzzled and wondered why is this pilgrim being protected like this. I looked at all the other threads especially the muslim threads and saw how she had wrecked her havoc on them too.

I wondered why she was allowed to run riot on the catholic threads and muslim thread but when someone criticizes her, immediately order from above protects her.

It made me think to confront her one one one if she was still around and immediately all her fellow body guards came out to protect their own giving all sorts of terrible excuses and insulting moslems.

I dont know whether she is the "God" here but the God i serve will never elevate anybody above him especially after attacking the word of God so terribly on these thread and other catholic threads.

The moral of this story is that as communicants and confirmed defender of the catholic church, it is our duty to ward off such people. Such people could infilterate our church with so many devilish attacks that could even make us leave the catholic church and follow their pastors with all their miracles.

We shouldnt sit down anymore and allow them slur the church anymore. Just like this pilgrim person she had just exposed herself as a sham and everytime she replies to make fun of the catholic church, she should be reminded that we didnt become catholics because of boyfriends or girlfriends jumping up and down the couch as a miraculous faith changing feat.

If they want to share with us the word of God, they are free and welcome in the name of the lord and if they bring hate, we should defend the church assidiously. Keeping quiet is the tool they want us to use to erode our beliefs. People like pilgrim will continue to come to this thread to hurl abuses and rants against the church but we must wait patiently until they slip up and give themselves away with funny stories that would make them totally ashamed.

I can assure you that this pilgrim person wont be disturbing our catholic threads for a while because we finally have a weapon to bring people like her down.

I cant imagine any bishop hearing the story that a person became a convert because of boys, love and jumping up and down a chair. And such a person had the guts to come to our beloved thread and hurl terrible insults against us as if she was perfect and had no silly religious fairytales in her cupboard.

i remain a loyal catholic for life and i will continue to check in often to share prayers and say a decade or 2 with you guys.

As for the testimony of pilgrim, it is there for the whole world to see. Every article has every right to be praised or criticized. You just choose the side you want to be. Why should i ask pilgrim to vet my article? Is this the beginning of a despotic reign on nairaland where  posts must be vetted because you dont like it?

Yes i know about locked posts because when i decided to reply pilgrims's remark, the thread moderator told me the thread was locked and i couldnt reply. I went to the help section and read the rules for locked topics and i decided to vent my anger on why i wasn't given the opportunity to reply to all the insults i recieved because i wrote an article against pilgrim.

How do new comers get to know around a new forum? Isnt the help button there for all to see?

I perused all the threads on the religious forums and found out that pilgrim actually posts alot on all these threads. She literally decimated the catholic threads and ridiculed some muslims in their muslim threads and ended up white washing some athiests. I now found a thread that stated her story and after reading it i found some loop holes. I noticed the thread was locked due to criticisms against her and i stated my own criticisms to her story.

Just like any article, she had the right to defend her self and she did so and what ensued was othjer people bashing me left right and centre because i had the guts to criticize her.

What is good for the gose is good for the gander. Why does she have a right to throw pot shots at other people's religions and faith and no one can touch hers?

What is so miraculous in her story that makes it impossible for a person to dissent to it. Just only one dissenting view and the whole nairaland comes to her aid and locks up the thread.
If that is not the trait of a despotic dictator at work, then i dont know what that is.

Whats up with all this pilgrim superstar status on nairaland? Obviously being a new comer to nairaland, i have to peruse all the topics and give my own opinions and everyone has the right to criticize me to Hell, but why is that Pilgrim is given this Godlike status?

I read some of her posts on nairaland. Some are outlandishly crude and merciless to the opposing debater but whenever someone criticizes her, she gets an army of bandwagon supporters to back her up. Whenever a thread is open to criticize her, immediately it is locked? Why?

I have read your piss poor attempt at promoting christianity and how you converted from a muslim to a christian. I have read your posts and story over and over again and one re occuring thing that kept on cropping up is Boyfriend this and Boyfriend that!

I tried my best to see if i could read anything sensible regarding christianity but all i kept on coming across was this promiscus attitude of jumping from one man to another whether as someone who was dumped or a boyfriend that died or a boyfriend that was sick.

For a supposedly good moral christian, i find it appalling to say the least that Men should be the centre of conversion to another faith. Your stories are abound and awash with love letters and love innuendos except that you had a fetish for christian europeans Men or americans. for example:
