Fresia01: bro, 4 evry course, computer knwlegde is necessary nt jux in masscomm. Plus in terms of job prospects, i tink linguistics n comm gives dat more dan mass bicuz it is broad while In mass dia re diff fields of specializatns.. Masscom is jux wia it is 2day cuz of d recognitn and popularity it have garnered knwing dat it came in2 existence b4 linguistics n comm.miss, it seems linguistics and mass comm are sort of related by 'communication' , as they both need communication skills which gives them the same job edge but it seems mass comm. Is favoured than linguistics. |

Linguistics over mass comm?  nah. Not in Nigeria and even beyond. To study mass communication nowadays, you have to be good with computers and some related devices and its job prospect is higher than linguistics. I admit that mass comm student (even in my school I inclusive) are always many at 100 LEVEL but they are filtered and the unsuitables are usually ported to political science, P.E.S, linguistics. Before getting to 400L, we would have been even in population with many other courses. |

The recently concluded jamb will be released after 10 days after the paper was written,that means it will be released on may 5th 2013. This news is genuine as i heard the the news on NTA weekend file report. Please Inform other jambite, ASAP so as for them not to be misled. |
