The tears of a broken dream Evil is gaining momentum everyday. It spreads across the land like tree branches. No one is free from the grip rof darkness. Minutes and hourly, it keeps evolving wicked strategy to keep people within it fetters. Ambition has been destroyed in the dark. Youth are now left at the mercy of whatever threatens them. Political rhetorics and promises has remain unfulfilled. On list of priority is equal chances for the youth. Today, the sad reality is leadership failure. Social inequality has worsened over the years. Only few gets richer while the majority lives in abject poverty Tears of a broken dream now flows freely on the faces of youth. What lies at the end of the road? Of course, the predictable end is a life of tears and misery! The beast has grown wild. He tears down anyone that refuses to acknowledge him. It is past the possibility of taming it. Annihilation! A dreaded annihilation of this old and obsolete system is the only guarantee of hope still left for the afflicted ones. The new cannot evolve from the old. The old must implode and must forever remain buried under a pile of ruins! The afflicted ones will be liberated from the shackles of a wicked political system. A sigh of relief will spell a new dawn for the few who pledge loyalty to God. The tyrant will be torn to pieces in the ensuing wreckage of this wicked political system... |
Like a scene from a nightmare, N power beneficiaries across the nation are shocked by FG plan to disengage them in few months away from now. An empty feeling of gloomy depression assailed the beneficiaries. Comments on social media alone threw light on the bruised ego of dedicated graduates. What is the hope of an average graduate in Nigeria? Must he toil and struggle for years to be employable and only to be helplessly abandoned to whatever threatens him at the end? How long will this vicious cycle continue? When are we going to break free from this cruel and dark hopelessness! Millions of unemployed graduate are already roaming the street. No hope for the future and are utterly denied of a means of livelihood. The question on our mind: Are we joining the army of unemployed graduates? Will the much anticipated transition promised by FG offers a job rewarding satisfaction or is it just a sham? Graduates who have built family around the #30,000 stipend are already overwhelmed by the thought of being left alone without financial incentive. I pray that the rate of suicide will not sky rocketed in coming weeks! Many are frightened by the subtle thought that keeps echoing in their mind, "So, I will finally stop going for my PPA and also denied of serving in my community !" "How do I explain to friends and well wishers who may curiously want to find out why I'm now sitting idle at home," they pondered. They asked, "What will people around me feels?" Self esteem will painfully be affected and many will try to escape from this reality by drinking and indulging in substance abuse. Worse scenario is an army of addict who may fuel the danger of insecurity and social vices! Of course, the program says 2 years from the start but we should not forget that human needs transcends print on papers. The plight of people alone should awaken the humanity in us. Terms and conditions on papers will not feed them. As a matter of urgency, the relevant stakeholders should work with greater synergy at helping the N power graduates get a meaningful employment. Bandits, street urchins, and worse of all Boko Haram terror activities are products of unemployment. We don't need an army of unemployed graduate on the street anymore. We don't want to experience nightmare. The national assembly and the entire government ministries and agencies should declare a state of emergency on the plight of these youth. We are facing a national crisis! |

In times of danger, every leader is expected to take proactive measure in protecting the state. |
Government tell people to stay at home yet there's no electricity to make people stay within the comfort of their home. How do you prevent the spread of COVID-19 when neighbors in rural areas share the same mat or wrappers outside at night when heat is extremely intense. This is time for 24 hours electricity supply or risk the spread of corona virus due to age long nonchalant attitude in the power sector |

During this onslaught of corona virus, everyone should boost his or her immune system by eating natural food. Take a lot of garlic, ginger, onions, water melon and varieties of fruit blend. Bitter herbs is healthy. It flush out toxins from the system. Use your time at home to cultivate flower gardens. Spend more time on spiritual values. This is not time to indulge in drunken excess. A dangerous combination of agbo je di, alomo and ogogoro may worsen underlying health conditions. |

We see the newly recruited, we didn't see advert. When will the masses benefit from the government? |
I think the Lagos State government should closely monitor the parents after the baby has been delivered to them. You never can tell what the human mind can conceive. If any danger happened to the baby afterwards, the parents should be held liable. |
Your health should be your utmost priority in the scheme of things. When you noticed symptoms of ill health, do not brushed it aside. It may be an underlying proof of a deep seated disease. Patronize herbs, fruits and vegetables in the right quantity. Ultimately, seek a closer connection with God. Love is the greatest and a sure link to God. It keeps your spirit healthy. Turn a new leaf in 2020. |
Revelation 17: 1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great LovePeddler that sitteth upon many waters: 2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. 3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: 5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. 7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. 8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. 9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. 10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. 11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. 12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. 14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. 15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the LovePeddler sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. 16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the LovePeddler, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. 17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. 18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth. |

Let's renew the hope of an average Nigerian youth instead of chasing them with EFCC. Let the people felt the impact of good governance instead of inviting EFCC to start harassing them. Let the unemployed get employed without bribing any officials. Let there be electricity in every municipal. Let Disco metre every homes instead of harassing every citizens with estimated bills. The people have bear the brunt of hard ship for too long. The flicker of crime will slowly fade out if greed give way for empathy. |
When will they employ ten million teachers to teach these children? Will you enrol kid's in school without teachers to teach them? |
Starve the ideology inducing these people to act of terrorism, and experience a new dawn of peace and terror free society. First of all, ban or regulate the fiery doctrines of Muslim Imams and what they teach pupils at Islamiyya in terror prone areas and in the entire states in Nigeria. 99 per cent of what these children are taught are hate filled doctrines against people who have contrary views from them. Secondly, government should urgently endorse and implement community policing. Any imam that spread hate doctrine should promptly be arrested. No youth or persons within working population should be seen strolling aimlessly during working hour. Such individual should be arrested and queried. Unemployment should be reduced to the lowest minimum for this to happen. Ultimately, the fear of God should be renewed in the heart of men. The truth is universal. It doesn't favour the religious opinion of men. People should understand that they'll reap whatever good or evil they do to their fellow men bountifully. There's lot more to learn about defeating evil in the land. |
realestniggah:Are you telling us that Wole Soyinka's literature have no impact in the society? Indeed, we are living in an odd world where youth no longer appreciate the value of books but prefer to sit comfortable in front of TV watching zee world and telemundo. No wonder Nigeria has not produce a new Nobel Laureate after Soyinka. Youth now prefer playing betnaija! We live in a strange world |
The most transparent Social Investment Program in the history of Nigeria. PDP started Sure P and You Win, it crashed woefully in the hands of mis guided politicians. Leaders must think about the welfare of the people, not making things impossible for them. Thumbs up for the APC led government under the leadership of PMB |
In politics, it is important to keep chains of contacts. The relationship you keep determines your altitude or descent. In day to day living, you need to form alliance with people that will take you to the promise land. |
Women who are expected to be the custodian of high moral standard have suddenly abandon their duty post in the modern world. |
lomprico:Everyone must come together to rescue the unemployed from the misery afflicting them. No one is exonerated. Infact, you should start thinking of alleviating the misery afflicting your next door neighbor. Change begins with you and I |
Why can't the masses contribute these money to help unemployed people nationwide? The afore mentioned amount of cash contributed so far can go a long way to reduce the spate of criminality happening in the country today. Misplaced priority and the Nigerian people appears to be inseperable. |
So if Osinbajo resigns, PDP should assume the role of a vice president or what the hell is all these half baked politicians or activist insinuating? |
N SIP is the most transparent social investment program ever birthed in the history of Nigeria, if not in Africa at large. How on earth will someone try to soil the reputation of the initiative behind the program. Sure P was a scam driven by the PDP led government. |
