Yes of course. Nothing stops you from going back to previous pages further say from 850 until you get what you want.

We used to enjoy updates on everything new on fta forum, be it; new channel with its tp and biss key, but this time, everybody is keeping it to himself afraid that it will be blocked. I totally agree with reading the previous pages , but my concern as well as yours is; what happens if one has still a question to ask?

Nobody is stopping you from asking any question that has not been treated before so don't misconstrue the intention of the forum!

I tried pauxis is n dt4044d lnb , no way.
I then used strong lnb short neck , and got 62% on 10992 v 27500 and 68% on 11661 v 27500 but MBC pro 1-3 and 2m with to 11559 & 11476 refuse to scan despite popping green with 52%.

All together 18 channels from 2 tp's on NWA 7 west from an attached Ku lnb to 1.8m dish with main c-band lb @ nss7 22west.

Try and use Fuji Star Gold for the Ku Band for more strong signal.

proof of a PowerVu hack, including descrambled

hacker Colibri posted a link to his Magnum Opus
(the culmination of nearly a decade of original
cryptographic research on PowerVu) on a little
known North American satellite forum
(tvrosat.com). It is unknown why Colibri chose
this forum for his announcement, but some have
speculated that he chose this forum because it
specializes in North American C-band satellite
backhauls, the majority of which are encrypted
using the PowerVu conditional access system...

Softly softly on this PVu issue if you want to enjoy it for long. Let us learn from our previous undue exposure mistakes. Don't forget how we lost BeinSports, MBC and of course IRIB. Always refer enquiries to previous pages where the issue has been robustly dealt with. God of FTA knows our suffering and that's why he opens this door for us. A word is enough for the wise!!!

Hello house, i did carry out a surgery work on my dish this past weekend with one of the best and very amiable, gentle gurus around Umassor, by name. i wasn't satisfied with my signal on hotbird especially with fox sport at 56%. So on that wet saturday ..just imagine Umassor his brother and i set out to work, it was very lively, fun watching him at work. We tried about 12 different LnBs jus to see the best of them, this are high end LnBs, just to mention a few, we had inverto utra, fuji star gold, digisat, old fuji, etc. we tried them one after the other. it was so much fun seeing what signal percentage each one of the LNBs gave us. After series of tape measurement, adjusting here and there, bolts, angle inclination, and so on and despite the drizzling rain we where able to add wait...8% gain on foxsport, from 56 to 64 on a 3meter dish. even on my hispasat that i was formally getting 56-57 jump to 64% too. On hotbird initially i had about 950 channels suddenly jumped to 1,049 channels, also i was getting about 84 channels on Hispasat suddenly jumped to 139 channels, even Nilesat dat i was having 134 stations suddenly became 254, i said wao!! this cant be true, this a good testimony to the fact that you can always achieve more when u put your best into somting you love and that 3 heads is better than one. which LNB did the job? its d oneway star gold LNB.. the old type ooo. most of the new ones are fake. My humble Appreciation goes to my brother, my friend UMASSOR Wilson the only guy i know that has tracked PTVSPORT in lagos with 4meter, who despite the rain came all the way to my base , to you brother too, to my sweet wife who provided entertainment for us i say thank you and God bless.

The upper C Band is for all normal channels like EATV, Citizen, TVChad, Channels, VOA, NTA, former IRIB (Arabsat 20e) etc. and you know the dish is motorised. The Ku is for Xtian Channels, Glow TV, DSTV, Multi TV, Amos 5, Muvi TV, Ses 5, Nilesat 101 (but it doesn't get MBCs), Canalsat etc. Pls let me know if I can get more as s die hard FTA guy, thanks.

Hello Guru in the house, kindly guide me on how to track Apstar 7 & Thaicom. Attached is the picture of my current set up. The centre is Fuji Star Gold for Ku band, the upper Strong C Band is for other normal C Band channels while the lower is for IS 20@68.5e. Do I need to attach another C Band LNB to get Apstar and how? I would appreciate your prompt response.

Am off duty today came back and my 4922 hd was hanging losing signal on IS20. I've factorized it and reloaded 183p back, all channels are back only 03974 refused to obey. Any help on how to overcome this will be appreciated. I tried avoiding double entry by changing it to 03975 yet nothing . Please Hugo Boss Organization is the only channel that keeps me homely.

Try 03978 and you are good to go!

Your coordinate = 7.6N,6.7E

Note the following:

a)Your dish will look south since you are in the Northern Hemisphere (7.6N)

b)The Motor Latitude and Declination Offset angles are always measured and applied when the dish is at its zenith( i.e. highest point in the arc, when the dish axis is aligned along the true north-south line).

c) The Motor Latitude is the angle measured on (at) the pivot axis of the mount.

d)To get the Total Declination Angle setting as measured on (at) the back of the dish ring (dish mount), add the Declination Offset Angle to the The Motor Latitude.

TRACKING THE ARC

Rotate the mount on pole to achieve a true North-South orientation.
(Don't forget local magnetic correction factor.)

Tighten bolts moderately.

Place incIinometer on polar axis and adjust the Motor Latitude rod to give a reading of site latitude plus correction factor (in your case 7.6 + 0.2 = 7.8 degrees or 8 degrees approx.

Adjust Declination Offset angle - 1 degree for your location.

With antenna at exact top (zenith) of arc, rotate mount and find satellite that is due south of site location. This will be the satellite that has the same longitude as the site location.In your case the closest satellite is Eutelsat 7A/B @ 7E.

Fine tune elevation adjustment for maximum signal and put a pencil mark on pole and clamp for reference.

Select a transponder number that is active on both a westerly and easterly satellite.

Moving alternately between the satellites, make small corrections in North-South setting until no further improvement in signal strength is obtained.

Tighten clamp bolts in steps so as not to disturb the North-South setting.

Recheck signal strength.

Move antenna to satellite due south. Pull up and down on bottom edge of antenna while observing signal strength. If signal is not optimum, recheck Declination setting.

Tighten all mount bolts thoroughly.

Recheck signal strength.

Thanks as usual. It appears I need to be tutored properly on dish setting cos I now know that I'm a greyhound but unfortunately I don't know anybody with the knowledge here

This champion tv has stopped showing at my end even with the biss. Champion TV are real wahala people but we would eventually break thru' sha!

I have Championtv b4 on my 4940decoder,can I get it back,or its locked with biss cos my decoder doesn't accept biss?

I don't think that your 4940 too is biss key compliant.

If you cant lock Thaicom 5 it simply means that you are
off the arc.
To get on the arc there are two angles you will need to set namely:
1. The Motor Latitude,and
2. Declination angle

Waoh @blexxonmak, u are a real guru, can u pls explain to me step by step of how I can set up my dish this way, I'm using 2.4m motorised wire mesh dish, thanks.

Wonderful, infact that's their apt description as they look as if heaven wants to fall, I just don't like them. I believe with time and improvement in technology 2.4m should be able to do what these BUD are doing now. Also I think research should be on going to come out with very strong & powerful LNBF that would compensate for absence of bigger dishes - this is my wish!
