Of what use is this information to us when etv had migrated from fta since a long time ago. To us here, that is their own wahala!!!

Thruout d world people steal sat images. But, given d potential of the Nigerian market once noise about paid channels being open by keys, measures will be taken to stop these. Even if the owners don't react they'll be forced to do so by dstv. so, wise up guys. use whatsapp or viber or emails for these channels to last. u guys should understand that they don't want us to enjoy freebies except their scamming church programs. na my own small contribution dat o.

You are spot on men, we should learn't our lesson by now from the experience of MBCHD to BeinSports and later to IRIB. Too much noise may lead to disappearance of these channels one day. Any question on these channels should be referred to the previous page/(s) where it had been treated earlier.

@all, now i discovered that all the satellite receiver that has .bin file as its software file format is not compatible with channels under TP 11.138 V 30.000 on amos 5, startv package, some decoder may be having problem the audio while some will be having problem with the video, except all the receiver that its software is in .stb file format, i have tried it on different model of powersat receiver, i have also tried it on srt 4950 and srt 4329 all have different issues,
NOW i rank srt 4922A as the chief of all the decoders, if u disagree with me quote me.

You are right brother, even the Regional Sales Manager of Strong Technologies - Dr Emile Hanna confirmed this at a forum in East Africa recently, he said though SRT 4922 series came earlier before Srt 4950, it has a slight edge over 4950 series.

You are spot on brother. This is FTA forum period. Infact any problem in fta means we are to wear our thinking caps and find a way out of the quagmire. A very good recent example is the PVu issue which is gaining currency now. I enjoin all forum members to let us start displaying our creativity, if u believe u can. Try 3974 v and make sure ur cband lnb is set at 1 o'clock. As for me I use a strong lnb but a SuperMax lnb is also good.

Mr Man,take it easy with him. You can track apstar7 @ 76e (c-band ),I even get thaicom @ 78e using the global beam. To make things easier for you,just track IS 20 @ 68.5 with this tp 3739 h 26597 or 3974 v 19850. Make sure you remove the dielectric plate in d lnb b4 tracking. After u are done, just blindscan. Don't bother going for apstar 7 if you can get IS 20 cos they share similar premium channels u will enjoy. Blexxonmak has done a good analysis on how to track Sats close to the horizon except he 4got to talk of removing the dielectric plate maybe because he is using a bigger dish.

Its C band. You have to remove the tracking plate inside the C Band LNB also. Some of the tps are: 1. 3720H29620 2. 3880H30000 3. 3690H13000 4. 3920H28340.

As for 4950 series, the pvu keys are embedded in the patch. So it opens the channels without stress.

Srt 4950 series opens all Apstar 7 channels automatically. You don't have to input any pvu key with the latest software, so try it.

Latest News on PowerVu Keys on SRT 4950 Series! I just learnt that the latest software of v3.32p is PVu enabled. Download it from crosat and enjoy!!! Srt 4950 series don win at last.

I am sorry to inform you that ACTV has stopped using all MBC stations on Amos 5 after nearly 4 days but still exist on Nilesat 102.

@auchs. Even 7m and 10m pan dishes are available.I hardly showcase my range of dishes because of cost of production.

I don't know why, I just don't like the sight of big dishes from 3m and above, its like heaven wants to fall. I think from technology point of view, there should be a paradigm shift to smaller dishes with the maximum pegged at 2.4m. I remember in those days Big and heavy televisions were the ones in vogue but now things have become smaller, stronger & better so satellite dish manufacturing should not be an exception.

Some of us are very concerned about SRT 4950 series. Infact I sent an email to their representative in Dubai, Dr Emile Hanna, on the need for Powervu keys software for this brand, he replied and asked me to send him the list some decoders and channels which are PV enabled which I promptly did. I also told him not to limit roll out of their proposed combo receivers SRT 4915hd combo + T2 to East African region as was being proposed in certain quarters but also to West Africa and my country Nigeria. He later replied that their technical & research dept. would look into the it and positively do something about the issues raised. I equally sent a reminder to Dr Emile Hanna of Strong Technologies some days ago on this issue b4 the release of the latest software 3.32 for 4950 series. So lets expect they would soon do something on this PV issue soon, thanks.

Start deleting TPs from an inactive SAT... Delete as many as possible
