Use STRONG Lnb, it's the best around for IS20 & APSTAR. To track APSTAR, first track IS20, maximize aljezira frequency mark your pole, go down track Thaicom mark the pole as well. For Thaicom you will have to move your dish few centimeters to your left while standing at the back if your dish. Now, Look for APSTAR between the two marked positions. This process is only if you have tried everything before with no luck. Note: Apstar should be very close to Thaicom than IS20, so basically if you can get above average signal quality and strength then you should be able to nail Apstar. Again Apstar selects lnb position, use 3oclock or 9o'clock.

@Chinedu7, thanks for this your contribution, Pls what best tps can I use for Thaicom & Apstar cos I'm going to work on your explanation. Those sats have been difficult for me to get.

Please apstar is proving difficult for me on my 2.4m. The highest I got with the Tp you posted is 57%. 3990,3880 and others refuse to turn green, I am using the same old supermax lnb I used for 68.5e with 75%.

I cannot even get it on my 3m dish and I'm getting Sony kix & Sony Six HD. Honestly I don't know the trick involved to get this Apstar

What PMB is doing does not preclude economic things, everything should be done pari passu because that's why he has ministers and other aids to assist him, so get that fact right.

This is a nice treatise by John Ugbokwe. The Igbos should stop this their antagonistic approach to national issues and start seeing themselves as part and parcel of indivisible Nigeria. It is only then that other parts of the country can entrust them with power in future, they should henceforth stop their hate speech against other tribes and embrace sincere spirit of brotherhood and love. They should equally remember that the Yorubas have sacrificed a lot for them unless they have forgotten how the late Col. Ekweremadu is a disgrace to the Nigerian political class. This man goes to the Senate everyday looking official in suits. Today in the dock, he has chosen to introduce ethnic and tribal sentiments into his trial by dorning a traditional Igbo attire. Very shameful and disgraceful. I'm sure Igbos did not send ekweremadu to the Senate to forge laid down rules and laws. In an attempt to save his skin and appeal to the ignorance and tribalism in most people, he has chosen this cowardly act.

Honestly I am disappointed in this Ekeremadu of a man; whipping up ethnic sentiment in this case may will not free him unless he puts up a robust defence showing why he is not guilty as charged. Anyway, it is the fault of Saraki due to his inordinate ambition and this a clear disservice to the ruling party. How can one explain a situation where Ekeremadu is part of ruling government and at the same time part of opposition - this is not funny but I know that this absurdity will change one day because when PDP was in power for 16 years they did not concede the position of Deputy Senate President to the opposition!

What are you watching? Please don't misinform the public because nobody is investigating PDP campaign fund but the Arms Deal Fund. If you know the numbers of lives lost and property destroyed due insurgency and security challenges you won't be here saying all these. When FGN starts to investigate campaign fund, its going to be for all the political parties and not just one. President Muhammadu Buhari is divinely brought to sanitise Nigeria once and for all and no amount of intimidation, name calling, embarrassment and all negative comments would stop him. No amount of resistance or fight that corruption puts up its bound to be the looser under the current dispensation so that Nigeria can be great again.

From what you just said, it means your dish is not balanced. Before you can get this right, you need to first balance your dish with Ku-Band in the middle as primary. Track 20w and Mark the pole, track 16e and Mark the pole, take the dish to the middle of the two marked positions, after that lock the dish. Now finally attempt to track SES 5E, don't adjust the locked base, only adjust vertically you will get SES 5, and when you do you can check both East and West positions if the still there, you can now attach the C-bands and no position will disappear.

@Chinedu, your contribution is super and more grease to your elbow. My question is, do you have to remove the jack to do this or is there a way to carry out this adjustment without removing the jack? Presently with my 3m Dish I cannot get Apstar 76.5e with the following dish setting 1. Ku Band LNBF (middle) as primary, C-Band LNBF (without dielectric plate on top) for IS 20 @ 68.5e for Sony Entertainment, IS 17 @ 66e for Sony Kix etc. & C-Band LNBF (with dielectric plate placed below) for Citizen, Sport 24 etc but my problem is that I cannot get Apstar so pls help out.

My appeal to the Niger Delta Avengers is to think deep about the consequences of their ill advised actions. You may think you are fighting President Muhammadu Buhari but all Nigerians know that you are fighting them including your own people - fellow Niger Deltans. You continue to blow up pipelines as if you and your people would not partake in the sufferings that would follow as a result of lean income this will translate into for FGN. Don't you know that 13% Derivation which your region enjoys would equally be affected with the consequent pauperization of your people? Nigerian nation has tried to pacify your region in numerous ways through the establishment of Niger Delta Commission, Amnesty Programme, Niger Delta Ministry etc. yet you are never satisfied and like Oliver Twist, you want more and more instead of holding your leaders accountable for the huge fund channeled to that region alone over the years, which of course, corruption has made nonsense of.
Maybe you don't know - real war which you are clamouring for is different from war movies! Ask those who witnessed/experienced kwasiokor, abandon properties etc. during Biafra Civil War and you would know its not a tea party affair. And to you the disgruntled elements who are fueling & sponsoring this crisis, please stop this nonsense before it consumes you; if it is because of lost election, take solace in the fact that PMB was elected for only four years and even one year is gone already as another opportunity would still present itself for you to realise your political ambition. To Niger Delta Avengers, please stop these bombings and table your requests in a civilised way to FGN. Embrace dialogue to resolve whatever grievances you might be nursing because to jaw-jaw is better than to war-war, this is my take.

Text books solutions may not work for a developing economy like Nigeria where you have a lot of loopholes that has always been exploited by the rich few to the detriment of the larger society. We should begin to look in the direction of home grown economic solutions that would take care of our cultural & environmental factors - this is the way to go if we are to grow and develop economically as a nation as the America of this world can never offer a sincere help.!
