17. He came as the living water that we drink and taste no more. John 4:13-14.
18. He came to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:19.
19. He came as the bread from heaven that we eat so we can no longer hunger and die no more. John 6:48-50.

The list is endless. Jesus is indeed worth celebrating.

Provision of education is one obligation that the government owns his citizens. But what is happening today is directly the opposite. Government is denying her citizens the opportunity to go to school by the high school fees introduced in most of our federal institutions of higher learning. The most annoying thing is that the people introducing this fees paid nothing in their days. How were the institutions surviving those days when they even had more of foreign lectures. The citizens has a right to education and we should not be denied that right. Student union bodies in our schools today that are supposed to represent the interest of the students in matters like this are like dead meat. I personally recommend a maximum of N50,000 tuition fee so that a worker who earns a minimum wage can send his child to school. Please add your voice.

I think the total numbers of Senators and House of Rep are too large. 360 in total with each taking home about 15 million every month. This is draining the nation's economy. I am still amazed that no one challenged the President for being directly in charge of the the petroleum ministry. It is completely wrong. You don't get it. He didn't create hell for you. He created it for the devil. And Adam sold his right to rule to Satan so man became automatically under the dominion of Satan. Satan has no redemption and he has the legal right to take all under his dominion to hell. But Jesus came and rescued us. Only those who refuse to accept the pardon will remain doomed. They have chosen to remain under the dominion of Satan. It is actually demons that torment lost souls in hell. And once you are there, you are condemned for eternity. So, the choice is yours. The law of Moses is abolished. That is why the Church is not involved in the ceremonial cleansing prescribed by the law. We are no longer under dos and don'ts. The Scripture is very clear on it. That does not mean that there are no moral lessons to be derived from the old Testament. There are quite a lot of moral lessons. But when any old Testament instruction contradicts the teachings of Jesus, it should be discarded.

The main reason for some of the wrong practices in our Churches today is the Church not knowing the difference between the old Testament and the new testament. If there is a new agreement, then the old cannot stand. But we still see churches trying to follow the instructions contained in the old Testament. And these instructions are not consistent with the new testament teachings. If we stick to the teachings of our Lord Jesus and his Apostles, we will not have problems. But we still follow the old Testament which has long been abolished. I pray that the Church will realize this quickly and avoid pit falls in the name of Jesus.
