I have already given you the basic difference; but apparently you are too dull to understand - yet you have the audacity to question my intellect.

BTW, the president wasn't acting outside the constitution; he was relying on a legal loophole; among them Onnoghen himself gave a landmark judgement in 2013 pertaining to the powers of the CCT.

Go and get better educated before you come here and start insulting ppl out of your sheer ignorance.
No matter what you people do, let God’s counsel concerning Nigeria. My deepest prayer for Nigeria is that God will deliver us from this terrorist government. Too many blood has been shed. So many children are now orphans. I certainly don't want to see this repeat itself. Enough is enough. If you wish him to continue, then you are equally a terrorist and the Almighty God will judge you all. There will be no CCT to bail you out.

Those are threats for kids !!
It's no threat. It's more real than you think. You will curse the day your mother gave birth to you when you get there. The pains are unbearable. You had better repent before it's too late. Even your conscience know it's true but your carnal mind is trying to fight it.

Okay...I created this moniker just because of this..I really need your advice..
I was posted to ughelli,Delta State during my service and since then i have been here even after my service ended..Along the line I meet this lady in her mid-30s, a beautiful one in a supermarket(bestway supermarket) and from there we became friends. At about a week later I met her same location and we just greeted each other. Luckily again we met there in about a month later and it was then we exchanged contacts and we began chatting..Eventually we became close friends,I visited her(since I really had no friends here) she stays alone..from there feelings started and one day when I visited her,she insisted I sleep over..That night we had unprotected sex..I was scared and she told me i shouldn't worry that she's disease free..She later asked me out and i agreed...She's has opened a shop for me (bet9ja shop, well furnished) and she's says we should get married that she will sponsor the wedding..Shes very beautiful, rich and good in bed...Please nairalanders I need ur advice, she loves me and i love her also but I'm scared of what my family and friends would say..i might be ridiculed...I have secretly done hiv and other screening test twice and it showed am negative. I'm 23 years old
Any relationship that does not get the support of your family members will not stand unless you have at least one influential person in your family that gives you the go ahead. After all, the president of France is more than 20 years younger than his wife. His wife was her teacher in school and they got married. Today he is a President. Above all, embrace Christ and let him properly direct your life. A sugar mummy is always a sugar mummy unless she genuinely repents. She will get married to you and behind the scene will still be a sugar mummy to others you may not be aware.

I met a lady recently online on a hookup site http://your-dreamgirls11.com/?u=ccv82kk&o=ka5w9hf&m=1. We got talking and I asked her out. She said no that she has a bf and into a serious relationship. But later, she proposed FWB which I agreed.

She came visiting and we were having sex, now the thing is that she says she doesn't want us to stop being Bleep buddies due to my size, but I can't be a sex slave to her since we won't end up getting married

I'm still confused so, I implore my people here to put mouth into this matter for me abeg
Just give your life to Jesus and start a new life. It's more fulfilling. Sin is a wonderful servant but a terrible master.

Looking at things from a very realistic point of view
Religion has done more harm than good
Although i dont doubt the fact that God exist
Because personaly in my life i have seen some positive signs in time past.

But i came up with this thread because of things happening in this modern day.

Some terrorist group seems to originate from some religious beliefs, pastors enriching themselves at the expences of the poor members n compromising the real gospel, so much hate towards a particular group of people if they have a different religious belief from some others.

Eg, Christians hating muslims or reverse as the case maybe.

Concluding in all these, one question comes to mind
Is religion a scam?
Religion is a scam indeed but true Christianity is not a religion. It is a living relationship with the living God. It is the revelation of the righteousness of God. It is a revelation of the love nature of God. It is divinity at work in humanity. A true Christian does not hate anyone. We love everyone including the terrorist Muslims. We do not love what they do but we love them and want them to come to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Freedom is indeed a sweet thing. I mean freedom from Religion in this instance

1. There is no Pastor to answer to
2. No holy brethren observing your every move and judging you
3. No tithes or offerings to pay
4. No Sunday church, no weekly fellowship, no night vigil, no workers meeting - more time to do great things
5. No evangelism to force your religion on others
6. No fear of hell fire - so you can now live without constant worry that you or your loved ones may be soon plunged into the dark abyss
7. No more been swayed about by every wind of doctrine
8. No pretending in church
9. You can now bare your mind to people and put them in order - people no longer take advantage of you because of your love for 'heaven'
10. You can now examine the bible independently and make up your own mind on what is truth without recourse to another 'know it all' bullying pastor
11. You are now looking for a wife material with no attachment to Pentecostalism or silly myths and fables
12. No Pastor to interfere in your marriage
13. Your kids will grow up with a clean bill of health, no fear of hell, no constant guilt and worry
14. When you become sick you seek for medical help and live longer
15. No more God said this or that including impending threats from Jesus Christ in concocted dreams
16. No more sin - repent - forgiveness viscous cycle
17. You now take responsibility for your actions
18. No more - the devil made me do it
19. No more paranoid feeling that Jesus is watching 'the back of your head' , lol cheesy
What is the profit if you gain all these things and lose your soul in burning hell for the rest of your life.

#WhatiF: Daddy Freez is correct about Tithe?

Daddy Freeze is one of Nigeria’s On Air Personality and convener of #FreeTheSheeple movement, a movement revolting against the unbiblical preaching of prominent pastors and churches in Nigeria.

Daddy Freeze is prominent for his advocacy against tithe collection by Jet buying pastors, arguing with scriptural evidences, that it is unbiblical to collect tithes.

For this advocacy, Daddy Freeze has been severely attacked by tithe collecting pastors and their followers, who often accuse him of fighting the church.

However, the general public has being asking, #WhatiF Daddy Freez is correct about Tithe?

https://whatif.ng/2018/12/25/whatif-daddy-freez-is-correct-about-tithe/
He is not correct. Tithe is an eternal principle. It started before the law and it transcend the law in principle. Just carry out this experiment. Pay your tithe faithfully for a period of three months. Then, stop for that same period and come and tell us your experience. The financial instability many Christians are going through is because they do not pay their tithes. They fall into different financial problems ranging from health challenges to court cases and even loss of valuable properties. It's just that they see these problems as normal. But pay your tithe, you will be amazed how God will deliver you from all of these problems.

There is no politician that does not have undeclared assets or trace of corruption. Where did Buhari son get money to buy a power bike worth 50 million naira. Now all his relatives that use to beg for 2,000 naira are all millionaires overnight. What have they done to the SGF who used over 300 million for grass cutting? What about Burutai who they discovered had an undisclosed property outside the country. Even the head of the CCT that ordered the suspension has a corruption charge of 1,8 billion against him. Amaechi is a confirmed thief. The over 700 thousands dollars he deposited in a foreign account is Rivers State money. The list is endless. Buhari spent our money on undisclosed ailments. Then, you don't understand what is true federalism. There is separation of power and the three alms of Government must operate within the ambient of the law. Please, go back to school and learn rather than support an act that virtually everyone including the international community has condemned. Unless you are one of the criminals in Nigeria.

Read the Interpretation Act:

11. (1) Where an enactment confers a power to appoint a person either to an office or to exercise any functions, whether for a specified period or not, the power includes-

(a) power to appoint a person by name or to appoint the holder from time to time of a particular office;

(b) power to remove or suspend him;

(c) power, exercisable in the manner and subject to the limitations and conditions (if any) applicable to the power to appoint,-

(i) to reappoint or reinstate him,

(ii) to appoint a person to act in his place, either generally or in regard to specified functions, during such time as is considered expedient by the authority in whom the power of appointment in question is vested.

Read the full text of the Interpretation Act here:
http://www.nigeria-law.org/Interpretation%20Act.htm
The interpretation act does not say the president. It refers to those powers have been given to appoint. And we know that the power to appoint is subject to Senates approval and the power to remove is also subject to the approval of the Senate. The interpretation is not ambitious and it does not give the president the right to suspend. The president should simply be impeached for violation of the constitution. If they can't impeach him, the electorate should vote him out. If he rigs his way back to power, Nigeria will not contain him. Mark my words. Enough is enough. The Church should rise and condemn this evil precedent. Mobolize your members to vote him out and protect your vote.

If after all these, we will stage a peaceful demonstration. Either sit at home. Close schools etc. We can't allow evil to continue to prevail in this country.

Politics › Re: 2000 PDP Members Will Welcome Buhari To Ebonyi – Gov Umahi by TruthinAction: 7:46am On Jan 26, 2019
odiks:
Gov. David Umahi of Ebonyi has assured that President Muhammadu Buhari would be welcomed to the state by at least 2000 members of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.

Umahi has also allowed the All Progressives Congress (APC) to use the Pa Ngele Oruta stadium, Abakaliki for the party’s presidential rally on Jan.30.

He disclosed this on Friday at Ugbodo, headquarters of Ebonyi Local Government Area, during the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship rally.

He said the President would be accorded all necessary courtesy.

“We would take our rallies on that day to our three senatorial zones while we allow them (APC) to use the stadium,” the governor said.

He sought the permission of the PDP supporters to allow some members to be at the stadium to receive President Buhari.

“At least, 2, 000 PDP members would receive the President at the stadium while you go about your rallies in your various zones.

“I have identified those who will receive the President; so, when you see our people at the stadium, don’t be angry, because it is my arrangement.

“We would even help them (opposition) with buses to get people from Enugu and Abia,” he said.

He thanked the people for the support for his administration and pledged to deliver more dividends of democracy such as infrastructure and health care services, if re-elected.

“I urge our party supporters not to destroy posters of the opposition party because we have the crowd and are on ground,” Umahi said.

Sen. Sam Egwu (PDP—Ebonyi North) said the large turnout of people at the event was an indication that people have accepted the governor.

Egwu, who is the first civilian governor of the state, noted that Ebonyi had been a peaceful state and should remain so before, during and after the elections,” he said.

Chief Goddy Ogbaga, Former Minister of State for Power, who hails from the area, commended the governor for his numerous infrastructure provisions to the people.

“We also thank you for appointing our people into strategic government positions and have resolved to reciprocate these gestures by voting massively for you and all PDP candidates at the elections,” he said. (NAN)

Anambralstson:
Buhari had on Friday suspended Onnoghen and immediately appointed Tanko Mohammed as acting CJN.
Explaining his reason, the President said he suspended Onnoghen, following an order from the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT, asking him to wield the big stick.
In a statement forwarded to DAILY POST, Agbakoba made it clear that Buhari’s action “is the most brazen assault on Nigeria’s constitutional history” and criticized Mohammed for accepting to be sworn in.
“President Muhammadu Buhari’s suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen, is the most brazen assault on Nigeria`s constitutional history.
“The President has obviously not listened to the advice of the Hon. Attorney General of the Federation or the Attorney General of the Federation has misadvised him or both.
“President Buhari claims that the suspension of the Chief Justice Onnoghen is pending the determination of the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT. This is simply not true. The CCT itself adjourned proceedings in respect of Justice Onnoghen`s matter in order to determine if it had jurisdiction to try Justice Onnoghen. The President`s decision contravenes the Ruling of the CCT.
“There are at least six (6) pending cases in superior courts of Nigeria and one in the Court of Appeal. All these cases ruled that Justice Onnoghen should remain in office pending when all cases against him are resolved. These Rulings bind the President of Nigeria. In any case Section 292 of the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria sets out the procedure for removing or suspending the Chief Justice of Nigeria. The power to suspend or remove the Chief Justice of Nigeria vests in the Senate side of the National Assembly.
“For all these reasons the purported suspension of Chief Justice Onnoghen is the gravest insult to Nigerian constitution in history. It is difficult to understand how President Buhari will expect my vote of confidence in the February polls if he wantonly denigrates and desecrates our Constitution.
“I call on all Nigerians to take the strongest possible view of the President`s conduct. I am shocked that Mr. Justice Mohammed Tanko would have offered himself to be sworn in as the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria.
“I call on the Chief Justice of Nigeria to refuse to be pushed out of office. The NBA must rise to resist this assault to our constitution.
Our judges must rise; Civil Society Organizations must rise. This is potentially the beginning of our descent into constitutional anarchy.”
