Justus98:Contact your School and ask for a deferment or partial refund of your semester fee especially the transportation ticket if your physical unavailable for studies. Also search for scholarships to hasten your Visa process |
Kennie28:If you accept the admission and pay the full semester fee but can't physically attend, you can get refund of fee that covers the Semester Transportation ticket (it's a lot). You have to apply or send an email to your school as you won't be physically available. There's a deadline so do this on time |
I booked student Visa Appointment May 2022, AD February 5th 2024 submitted BL March 15 Visa July 2024 Thanks to everyone who has contributed in one way or the other on this platform |
Hello, please who has taken the online aptitude Test or knows anyone that has taken it, at the university of Goettingen. Its Masters in computer science or data science. I have some questions to ask 🙏 |
Zebulun1:U can get an affidavit from high court on ground stating all the names in those certificates are yours and if you're married u can also get ur change of name certificate/marriage certificate on ground. It may not be necessary for admission but will be useful for visa application |
Iamlanky:Yes, expatrio supports instalment payments even if you're not the one paying. Fintiba accepts only one payment and they may ask for proof of the money source. |
Jessydan54:I got this from somewhere WHAT CATEGORY? 1. Have you funded? 2. Are you going for Bsc or Msc? 3. Which course are you going for? 4. Why that course? 5. What did you study in your Bachelors? 5.5 How does your bachelors relate to the masters course? 6. When did you graduate? 7. What was you CGPA? 8. How did you apply? 9. How much did you pay as uni-assist fee? 10. Does your institution charge tuition fee? 11. Are you going to pay tuition fee? How much is your semester fee? 12. Why do you want to study in Germany? 13. iatethesun:I would advise you use Expatrio if you're funding the block account more than once. Fintiba has place Nigeria as a 'high risk country' and only collects payment once and sometimes they may ask for document proof concerning the source of the money. The Naira equivalent depends on the exchange rate for that day. If u still have months you can try form A with your bank. If not you do exchange with bureau de change or someone trustworthy or use online apps like Grey etc. Try asking your bank, Google, apps to know the current exchange rate |
Remix10:Please Can I still get a Tax clearance certificate or something from the Tax office to that effect. And is pension a compulsory requirement. |
Krissy01:I would advise this; 1. You start looking for scholarships within and outside Netherlands that are less competitive and you think you are qualified. 2. Try to do research online and from past student already in Netherlands and get contacts of humanitarian/ immigrantion agencies or groups that can come in and offer some kind of assistance or solution. Am sure they've helped others in the past. Or even group funding. If possible plead u case on social media and ask for funding. 3. Try to apply for other visa categories like work visa, au pair etc that are easier to get even if it's within Europe 4. Apply to Germany uni's and co. U may still be able to do interview, u may be lucky. 5, meet with an immigration expert/ consultant and try to Know ur options. If u don't have money to pay, look for pro bono ones. |

Hello please am new here and would like to get some information concerning PR. I would like to apply as a Dressmaker or Tailor(393213). I have over 7 yr working experience as a Tailor in Nigeria and I have a bachelor's in another field. I work for my friend in her shop sometimes and also self employed. In a situation I don't have the regular payslips, what can I use as most payments is cash at hand and bank transfers. Can I go ahead in writing ielts. I do not have pension also. Do I need a trade certificate to submit. Do I stand a chance . Please who knows anyone that has applied for PR as a Tailor |
Euny1234:The current timeline is those that booked mid July that are getting AD against for mid April. So expect your AD around July or ending June. Do deep research and Google the university offering ur area of interest, check admission dates and apply for winter semester in schools that indicate they offer admission letter early or offer rolling admission. Try university of Hamburg. Also apply for less competitive courses that has some sort of link to either your bachelor's or work experience. If uni assist delays you, make sure you're also applying to schools that don't use uni assist |
SELENAqueensy:This also happened to me. As far as her passport is still in the system, she will get her AD in the coming days. The possible explanation for this was that the day she booked, was not the day she received confirmation email from the embassy, Probably a few days later. The confirmation email from the embassy is the date you follow, and not the date you booked |
Hello, please does the UK embassy do certification of documents or certified copies of documents, and is it free of charge. |
Hello, please what does it mean to provide a "certified copy" of an educational or work document |
Kennie28:You can Google motivational letters and watch YouTube videos on how to go about it. For the research proposal try reaching out to ur past lecturers or PHd students to guide you or research online. Another way people do is to outsource the writing the motivational letter and research proposal, pay and get the best possibly and apply for scholarships/admission. |
Iamlanky:I can't say which is best but to get euros u either use black market and lobby for the best rates, look for people who will buy naira for euros or contact ur bank concerning form A if you have time. Converting on Fintiba is a no no |
Iamlanky:u Try to findout the recent timeline for legalization of documents in Austria embassy. Also find out the exact monthand week your appointment may come out using the recent schedule . Check telegram groups. They keep track of this. If u have a window of opportunity to do both then better. One more option is if Austria is your main choice and u have started legalization before ur AD comes out, you can do either of this 1. Send an email to embassy and tell them your original document are not available and you will submit it after interview.you may be given a deadline. 2. You cancelled your interview and send them an email to reschedule you. Someone who did this was successful. No guarantee though |
Jandminded:In terms of admission, if you get admission winter 2024, u can contact the school to defer, or you can enroll online before your appointment date comes near. For this whole German process after using Daad u can try research online and Google universities in, or near big cities in Germany with or without tuition or uni-assit. U can also follow by searching for 'Nigeria students in Germany' telegram groups to get more info. While waiting for Visa interview, apply for scholarships and other countries as plan B |
V peacy05:Just retype the letter and Make sure the letterhead addresse is that of the German Embassy. End it with your name and signature and interview date below |
Imoleaje123:You can send an email to them explaining your situation in a straightforward way, and how you hope for a favorable response. If possible take any document proof that his appointment is on March 11, so they give you enough deadline. U can use this email and they will likely respond within the day. info@lago.auswaertiges-amt.de Note: you should prepare for the interview as they would like tell u to still come and you will be given a deadline to submit it. Make sure the deadline is at least a month. |
stephie20:I booked in May 16 |
Hi,I have gotten appointment for Feb 5th. Booked May 2022 |
simplytemmie:You have to get an affidavit from a High court with seal/ stamp that will state all the names on those certificates are yours |
adeniranfam:Try checking out this public universities almost all ,say more than 70% don't require IELTS, tuition, uniassit and application fee 1. RWTH Aachen university 2. University of Hamburg 3. Georg August university of Gottingen 4. University of Bonn 5. Goethe University 6. Technical university of Darmstadt 7. Ludwig Maximilian University of Munchen 8. University of Munchen 9. University of Bielefeld 10. University of Bremen 11. West Falishe Wilhelms university Munster 12. University of Passau (few English taught masters programs) 13. Technical university of Darmstadt (few English taught masters programs) 14. Ruprecht Karl's university of Heidelberg ( very few English taught masters programs) 15. FAU Erlangen University 16. University of Kiel 17. University of Bayreuth 18. Triesdorf university in fresing 19. University of Stuttgart |
Yashita:Why not process your transcript and address it to either an education Consultancy company or a private company that process student visa so matter how small. Even a private/ public secondary school/ college if u know someone in the Amin office around your area. That way you can use it for all your applications. That was how I did mine. |
Hannania:A good number of German school don't ask. Most of d uk schools I applied to did not even ask for English proficiency. My WAEC/NECO was enough |
Please I would like to find out especially from those who did their visà interview earlier this Year, must one be enrolled at the uni before going for visa a interview. And in the case were I get admission and appointment date before school starts enrollment payment Is it ok to still do the visa interview |
ultra100:While I may not be too knowledgeable here, getting admission will also depend on how competitive his course is. He can also try private universities. The WAEC fail in maths should not be a problem as long as he passed English Language. A better option will be to use his work experience and try the job seeker visa or get a work contract from Germany and go through the work visa. Just my thoughts |
baqirshuayb:There are a lot of scholarships in Germany against next year enrollment that does not require two years work experience and German fluency. Even if it's an internship in naija try and get so u have like six months work experience no matter d size of d company. U can check DAAD and mystipendium.de websites. But frankly speaking there's no way I will finish with a first class and not apply for more than 50 scholarships in the USA, Australia, Uk, New Zealand etc. and not get one. Don't just limit yourself to Germany alone and do a lot of research on scholarships |
Pls is my birth certificate issues before 1992 by the hospital valid for visa purpose. It has the hospital letterhead, signature and stamp |
