y'all should stop lamenting about the penalty and focus on why super eagles can't beat a team like Zambia by at least 3 goals. The Super eagles team is thrash, simple and plain. It's a reflection of the country they're representing

Wel, I wil help. 4 anybody or company 2 b liable in law 2 give u money den dat person must have comited a wrong aginst u i.e he has breach d duty of care he owes 2 u. Evry manufacturers owes us a duty of care by making sure dat deir product we consume is clean nd does nt affect us negatively, our health, body restructure (damage)etc.
B4 d court we order dat judgement of monetary compensatn 2 u 4 d damage caused 2 u. U must prove 2 d court dat d manufacturer's product u bought actually caused u damage. How wil u prove dis? By calling a doctor or withness dat was dere when u were sufering d damages 2 testify 2 d court. If ur testimony nd evidence is reasonable nd wel established, gd luck but if nt, bad luck.
Dat was d simple principle established among other things in d case of DONOGUE v. STEVENSON. (Copy nd paste d parties above in google 2 find out more frm dat case)
If u know of oth point of law dat dis guy can claim on, halla me

OP should just return the bottle to the shop and have it replaced. Why would you need to sue when no harm was done to you? The bottle wasnt opened so what damages are you seeking to claim? Abeg go find beta work to do and forget this pipe dream

londoner: OP....if your family are so well to do......why are your friends much poorer than you?

Nigeria is a very class conscious place.....stay in your own lane when there is money involved.

Befriend people who do not need anything from you, or you will forever be taken as the chicken laying the egg, for people who are desperate and hungry.

If you live in a rich area......you should blend in well, because I know Enugu has its rich classes....as with everyhwre in Nigeria.

Its like going to Abuja as a wealthy person, then always hanging out in Gwagwalada.....you go where people even have much more than you......it stops you from being a target.

It does mean you have to put the showing off your wealth aside, some people find that hard to do.

Btw, in terms of Nigerian girls, its is not their fault that your preference is for non black women.......I'm sure even in the states you did not date black. That's your own issue and taste.....nobody else can change that, even if she was the most beautiful black women in the world.....the issue for you is that she is not White or Asian.

So go easy on Nigerian girls/women........okay

See correct response and advice o! Londoner you made some very valid points in your post

shagarri: The guy might have a bloated self image and might have lost out in a power tussle, but he raised VERY good points.

Why is it so hard for media infrastructure to be addressed in this country, knowing fully well that we have lots of musicians and actors that will surely patronize it.

Why was a solid idea as HiTV allowed to go bust, it was such a powerful initiative with brilliant potentials.

At least rather than studying for an MBA, peeps with Theatre Art, Music and other Art degrees will have a place to advance their careers in Nigeria without having to go to SA or other western countries, spinoff companies can be formed, yahoo boys might learn cinematography plus Nigerian upcoming actors will have a readz made environment to grow.

Also, its terrible how some folks on here find it hard to read long articles, but will finish 3pages of gossip news in minutes.

The most important instructions in this world for your lives are in words, if you hate reading (especially important materials) then there is little hope left.....for you
GBAM! GBAM!! GBAM!! I keep saying it on this forum, Nigerians are ready to accept anything that's bestowed upon them just cos it doesnt affect them directly. Nobody seems to care about the next man as long as it has nothing to do with them, and until there's unity in this country thing's will continue to fall apart. The man is obviously making sense and just cos he doesnt accept the status quo people think he's bitter. SMH @ all these suckers

THAT'S A FAT LIE. IN CASE YOU DONT KNOW BIG SEAN RECENTLY HELD HIS OWN SOLD OUT ARENA CONCERT IN DETROIT. HE PERFORMED WITH JUSTIN BEIBER AT DICK CLARK NYE EVENT AT TIMES SQUARE WHICH IS HUGE. I DOUBT THE DBANJ CROWD WERE UP TO 8K. YOU MAY SAY SO FOR PUSHA T BECAUSE HE IS NOT COMMERCIAL BUT BIG SEAN IS PRETTY A BIG ARTIST AND MIND YOU THEY DONT REALLY CARE ABOUT THE LAGOS CROWD.

So why did he fly all the way to Lagos then? If he's perfoming with Justin beiber that simply means the crowd was there for Beiber and he was a supporting act. The point i'm making here is that he did not need to be 'begged or convinced' to come and perform in Nigeria. Big Sean won't be around next year, so he should milk his 15 seconds of fame, and that includes appreciating the opportunity he had to perfom infront of Nigerians.
Celebrities / Re: Dbanj Dropped From Good Music by Tstark(m): 9:24pm On Jan 03, 2013
Bullcrap! Pusha T and Big Sean can never draw the kinda crowd they performed to in Lagos in the USA, so they would not need to be convinced to come and perform in Lagos. It's a no-brainer. Who be Pusha T and Big sean for yankee? Nigerians and their inferiority complex!!

Celebrities / Re: Nollywood Actress Ngozi Nwosu Has Been Diagnosed With HIV In India by Tstark(m): 6:14pm On Dec 17, 2012
victorian: its possible. I use to have a family friend, the husband contactd HIV after getting a very juicy job and juicy jeep car. He turned into a chronic womaniser, cud get any babe he so desires, until he startd falling sick with different ailments. The wife tried to cover up his illness, but unfortunately kidney failure was waiting for him , along the line. He went to see their family doctor, who diagonized him to have Hiv but if not quickly treated wil result to Aids. His kidneys stopped working, she was devastated when she heard. She flew him abroad, and that was where he died slowly in a private hospital. His numerous gfs were dying inturns, including his personal female secretary, that was always warming his bed in a guesthouse. The wife is hale and hearty, he stopped touching her, when big money started coming and then, babes were glueing his body like superglue. Aids is real, be wise. It can ravage anyone, it doesnt care about status..Be safe.

Oh shut up with your tales by moonlight, i've seen that movie numerous times angry

Travel / Re: The Truth About Living Abroad by Tstark(m): 10:06pm On Dec 14, 2012
Wallie: It should be obvious to people with common sense that going to a place with no support system can be very difficult but just because something is difficult does not mean it is invaluable.

The rule about America is that there are no rules or set template to follow before you make it. About the only thing you can almost guarantee is that if you work hard you will live an ok life.

I really don't understand why people are so preoccupied with being rich! Everybody can't be rich...it is just impossible because being rich will then be the norm. For example, the median household income in Maryland for 2009 is $69,272 (N10.7 million) which is considered being rich in Nigeria. For you to stand out in Maryland, you will need to make about 4 or 5 times the median household income.

What people should strive for is an income that allows them to have the basics things to keep their family happy. That might mean having a house, a couple of cars, taking a vacation every year, being able to eat whatever you want, having a few dollars in the bank, and having enough spare change to donate to a charity of your choice.

By the way, Americans that live America, a country so bad that you should stay away from, gave $347 billion to charity in 2011. People willingly gave $347 billion to those seeking assistance for a cause. If this is not a sign of properity then I don’t know what is!

Oh, and since when is getting a mortgage or a loan bad especially when you can get a $300k mortgage for 30 years at about 4%? It seems the OP thinks that if cheap mortgage becomes available in Nigeria most people won’t jump on it! cheesy If you buy stuff on credit, at least you will get to own it after you pay off your loans.

Do you really think your Dangotes and Adenugas do not get loans from banks? I think you don’t really understand how money can work for you even at the crazy 25%+ interest rates charged by Nigerian banks! It is all about leverage!

This post right here says it all. The OP was talking out of his backside for the most part, but he did have a few facts [just a few, maybe 1 self].
