texazzpete:

The same week the woman was in leaving the house, three Nigerian women were being expelled from the Olympics camp for taking drugs. All you semi-literate, bovine m0r0ns did not see anything wrong with that, rather it's a girl who fell in love and began to do uncharacteristic things that has 'brought Nigerian women image in a bad light'

Na God go punish you for this stupidity...how did she put Nigerian women in a bad light? Did she

1) Sell her body for money? No? Yet hundreds (if not thousands) of Nigerian girls are in italy and Spain working as hookers
2) Scam another housemate? No? Yet a huge chunk of the Nigerian yahoo boys are aided and abetted by women.
3) Sell drugs or engage in crime? No? yet many Nigerian women are joining their male counterparts in South Africa to sell drugs and fund robberies.

On my BBM, one of the most vocal and virulent critic of Goldie was recently asking me if she should go back to her boyfriend who had been beating her daily. Even after massive slapping, she still wanted me to talk her out of going back. That same person was calling Goldie a 'mumu' just months before!

In summary, you're a cretin.

Good observation texazzpete. You better leave them alone, their priorities are backwards in that country, just look at their leaders.....smh

Politics / Re: Okorocha Bans Imo-Monarchs From Speaking English At Forums by Tstark(m): 1:24pm On Aug 29, 2012
Esss: IMO Sate deserve the leader they get...

Rochas.. This mans gimmick will only dawn on the people of IMO State after he leaves office and they realize that he really did nothing for them..

So any Traditional Ruler that speaks English would be dethroned.. And a couple of juvenile efulefus are clapping at this broad day disrespect of our Traditional rulers by this little boy called Rochas.. WHO told Rochas that he has a say on who becomes Traditional ruler or not?! Who told Rochas that he has the powers to take away the stool of a traditional leader installed by our tradition and protected by the gods?! Our people say 'He whom the gods want to kill, they first make mad'.. Rochas is toying with fire..

So he has protected our language, what about our cultures and values.. How about before every meeting is held in the state (from the State Assembly to the governors office to even the private sector), Libations must be poured with Seamans Aromatic Schnapps and kolanut must be broken and shared..

Coke, Wine and Champagne as refreshment for visiting dignitaries should be banned and replaced with Garden Eggs and Ose' Orji with Palmwine.

Also any Traditional ruler that is found in Church, Mosque or any other place of worship other than his Obi or the Alusi of his community should be arrested and jailed.. Our deities must also be protected as they are a part and parcel of our heritage..

O yeah!! Also, all Igbo cultural celebration like our 'New Yam festivals' and co must also be declared public holidays in the state and all civil servants must return to their villages and participate in the celebrations.. And must get a participation letter from their village head affirming that they did indeed participated..

LIKE SERIOUSLY!!!!! Just when I thought this doofus of a Governor couldn't top his last antics of sharing Kerosene in a packed stadium and paying minors 100 naira a month salary, he goes and does this..

IMO STATE INDIGENES are really in deep shiit for the next 3 years..

And ask for that Joke of him being crowned 'EZE NDI IGBO GBURUGBURU'.. Nigga please... Like who gave the clown of an Eze the right to install a Charlatan like Rochas as Eze Ndi Igbo?!

IMO STATE seem to be filled with alot of clown Niggas just like their Clown Governor..

Gbam!! You have spoken well my brother

martin123: LORD LUGARD ON NIGERIANS AND AFRICANS IN GENERAL

1926

In character and temperament" wrote Lord Lugard, "the typical African of this race-type is a happy, thriftless, excitable person. Lacking in self control,
discipline, and foresight. Naturally courageous, and naturally courteous and polite, full of personal vanity, with little sense of veracity, fond of music and loving weapons as an oriental loves jewelry. His thoughts are concentrated on the events and feelings of the moment, and he suffers little from the apprehension for the future, or grief for the past. His mind is far nearer to the animal world than the that of the European or Asiatic, and exhibits something of the animals placidity and want of desire to rise beyond the State he has reached. Through the ages the African appears to have evolved no organized religious creed, and though some tribes appear to believe in a deity, the religious sense seldom rises above pantheistic animalism and seems more often to take the form of a vague dread of the supernatural"

He lacks the power of organization, and is conspicuously deficient in the management and control alike of men or business. He loves the display of power, but fails to realize its responsibility

....he will work hard with a less incentive than most races. He has the courage of the fighting animal -an instinct rather than a moral virtue

......In brief, the virtues and defects of this race-type are those of attractive children, whose confidence when it is won is given ungrudgingly as to an older and wiser superior and without envy

.......Perhaps the two traits which have impressed me as those most characteristic of the African native are his lack of apprehension and his ability to visualize the future"

Lugard must have been on crack when he wrote that shit

Politics / Re: Who Killed Funmilayo Ransome-kuti (Fela's Mother)? by Tstark(m): 8:19pm On Aug 24, 2012
Richvkunt: One of Felas boys had a traffic clash with a soldier from the Albati barracks at Idi Oro in Lagos. The soldier tried to arrest the boy,but he fled and took refuge in Felas compound called Kalakuta Republic.
The soldiers from Albati barracks stormed Felas residence in order to arrest the boy and take him to their barracks. Fela refused them entry by electrfying the fence surrounding the fence,so there was a stalemate.
At this time Lagos was still the capital of Nigeria and the defence HQ was based at Marina. When news got to Thophilus Danjuma, a major General and chief of army staff,he instructed the brigade commander of Albati barracks to arrest Fela dead or alive.
Based on this instructions, more than one thousand soldiers stormed Kalakuta, but could not gain entrance because of the electrified fence. Instructions were given to the NEPA manager for the area to switch off the electricity supply to the area, but Fela countered this by switching on his generator plant.
The soliers shot up the generator which exploded and caught fire, the fire then spread to the main building and the soldiers were able to scale the fence and attack all the residents. Fela was arrested, while his mother and breother Beko Ransome Kuti were thrown out of th storey winndow to the ground floor, substaining various degrees of fractures.

The brutality, rap.e and destruction of Kalakuta republic attracted public out cry and the government of Gen Obasanjo had to inagurate a probe panel that returned a verdict that the property was burned by an unknown soldier and as such Fela was not entitled to compensation.
Felas mother, Funmilayo died a few months after this strange verdict. From this, you can reach your conclusion on who killed the poor woman!

The part you left out is that Fela refused to release the boy to the soldiers, but agreed to release him to the police cos he felt it was a police issue and not a military one. He then proceeded to his balcony to play "zombie" with his saxophone and this infuriated the soldiers even more.
That's when they sent reinforcements to the house, if Fela had released that boy to the soldiers, all that mess wouldn't have happened

All these people complaining about the Dangote scheme don apply for the job tay tay. They're just on here to front. 50k a month no be small money [for someone who's currently jobless], and you really dont have to spend the rest of your life doing the job. If you're smart you can use it as a stepping stone to move on to something bigger. Nigerians will complain about anything-they want the government to do everything for them! How about doing something tangible to improve the situation before sitting at home and complaining

I've spanked my sibling in public (the store) before.

Children think they can misbehave in public places thinking they have witnesses who can "rescue" them. It's better to let them know that "witnesses" won't stop ya.

I don't mean take-out-the-belt-and-start-whopping kinda beating o. A few slap on the azz won't kill anyone cool

Will I beat my child in Public? Best believe it!

That pretty much sums it up for me, kids do think they can misbehave in public and you have to let 'em know that they cant. I wouldnt go as far as whooping with a belt or cane though
