SisterAnn:
So you don't remember the "North is bleeding protest"?

I'm trying to remember the name of that Hausa journalist now who bacame famous in that protest when she said "we are a little bit pissed Baba Buhari"?
I think her name is Hadiza Mohamed.

I have always suspect some of you to be brain dead like your master in Aso rock.
Maybe you need to go back to school to learn some basic word. Because some few people organised a press conference to make a demand now amount to protest?

Can you even term what is happening today in the north as protest?

What does Russia flag has to do with hunger protest?
Politics › Re: Endbadgovernance Protest: Stop Blackmailing The North by Ttalk: 3:13pm On Aug 06, 2024
OP stop tagging press statement by some few people in the north as protest.

Know different between agitation, protest and riot.
Politics › Re: Endbadgovernance Protest: Stop Blackmailing The North by Ttalk: 2:51pm On Aug 06, 2024
My problem with Southerners are their misinformation and outright lies.

Barcanister is now a defender of the North that truncated the government of his brother.

Tell us where the protest took place during those periods apart from pocket of protest during endsars that were championed by southerners living in Abuja and other major northern cities.

The involvement of northerners in that protest was to stage an anti-protest campaign where they attacked protesters in Berger, Utako, burnt cars in Apo Dutse, and chased Deji Adeysnju who was leading one of the protests.

Stop misinforming people, northerners didn't protest against Buhari, they staged protest against Southerners who protested during this period

Nigeria is too divided at the moment to have a military coup if such happens then we divide asap tinubu plan the game well.
And economically weak. You don't expect a repeat of what happened when Jonathan lost election. A crises in SW and particularly Lagos will be a catastrophe to the nation

I have watched so many Nigerians talk so much about the Russian flat seem with northern protesters

Be are asking who is sponsoring it, where did it come from

It's sad Nigerians can't decode this simple issue

The origin of those flags and their sponsor would most likely be leaders of the Niger Republic as a way of paying tinubu back

My fear is Niger seeing how unpopular tinubu is can sponsor a coup
You are getting insane with your warp logic.
The entire military force in Niger can't overun 2 battalions in Nigeria.

Politics › Re: 22million Nigerians Voted For Subsidy Removal. by Ttalk:
The greatest mistake is giving the governors the proceed of the subsidy without strong control and check. Imagine Governor like Yahya Bello laying his hand on such huge money and see how he would have squandered it
Politics › Re: 22million Nigerians Voted For Subsidy Removal. by Ttalk:
Removing fuel subsidies is not the issue but the management and consequence of subsidy removal.

What effort was made to channel the gain of the subsidy directly to the masses other than giving it to the emperor governors who are not accountable because of the useless immunity clause?

What happened to creating a Subsidy Trust Fund that would be channeled to address critical sectors like agriculture? That would have reduced the bashing Tinubu receives today as Nigerians would have been justified to channel their grievances toward the governor who would contend such a policy.

Abacha established PTF and Obasanjo established ECA and some gains were made despite the strong iobjection from the governor

If I were the President, I would have redirected the funds from subside removal to fund the agric and health sector

I will equally see that the funds are properly managed and there will be measurable objectives to ascertain these

The agric sector alone can absorb over 30 percent of the unemployed within a year, food will be cheaper. If we really mean business, that sector will start generating over 20 billion Dollars annually within 4 years and the value of Naira will appreciate. The advantages are numerous with multiplier effects on the whole economy
It seems the FG has lost out on that, the governors have tasted the golden apple there is no way that can be achieve now with the increased wage bill and getting more loan to finance such project would be a huge task as our creditors seems not interested in such ideas

The biggest mistake on his part, taken away subsides from the cabals and given it to the governors. At the end of the day nothing to show for it. The Yorubas will say "ole gbe, ole gba"

We should not be lying to ourselves, nothing much this regime can offer. I don't think they have the capacity and the required intelligence to take this country to the next stage

Initially I was thinking BAT will bring forward reforms and programs that will encourage production but all I am seeing is cluelessness

For those who have elementary knowledge of economics, his policies are antagonistic of one another.

At this particular moment, only God can save Nigeria.
Abacha created PTF, the fund was targeted at addressing peculiar infrastructural deficit. Obasanjo created ECA to save excess money realised from crude sale until it was taken to court by the emperor governors. A Subsidy Trust Fund should have been created at least this would have save us of gross mismanagement from the governor even we all know the governors will kick against it, at least it would have redirect attention of the people to focus on their governors when the money is eventually released

There should be a complete overhaul of Nigeria budget.

What is passed every year is just a copy and paste document where the figures are changed. No one will read a Nigeria budget and not see a doom of a nation

The issue of sulfur content has never been issue in all refined products that are imported, why is it now a major issue between a government agency and the Dangote refinery?

Why run the Dangotes business down in the public space.

Whatever energy you have to pokenose into Dangotes refinery is enough to sniff out the impediment that has caused our refinery not to work despite billions in turnaround maintenance
Politics › Re: You Removed Corruption By The Masses But Retains That Of Politicians by Ttalk(op): 12:57pm On Aug 04, 2024
What Nigerians have seen so far from the fuel subsidy removal is increased money and allocation to the FG and its emperor state government who manage recklessly the additional resources at their disposal.

Has this excess money translated into a better life for the citizens of this country?
When state government allocations increased by 100%, does the state government increase their workforce by 50%, why free money to the purse of the state government when the Nigeria constitution as a Federation doesn't have control over state government spending? It is sad to see that the gain of the fuel subsidy removal has been squandered by the federating units otherwise we won't see hunger cries pervade the country today
Politics › Re: You Removed Corruption By The Masses But Retains That Of Politicians by Ttalk(op): 11:42am On Aug 04, 2024
One major thing lacking in the presidents broadcast is his inability to speak frankly and inwardly.

His speech just like the previous governments during protests has always been directed at the people. It is high time the government speaks to itself.
Going forward, I expect the president to set a template of governance based on prudence and frugality. If there's anything that can easily build trust between the ruler and the people is to see a reflection of their lives in the life of their leader.

Tinubu reform will not be complete if it doesn't address the flamboyant lifestyle of our leaders, whatever the gains of its reforms will be squandered by the gluttonous leaders if a template is not eatablished.

Tinubu should listen to the people
Politics › You Removed Corruption By The Masses But Retains That Of Politicians by Ttalk(op):

Our so called foreign trained experts have not been impressive in governance and leadership
Politics › Where Is The Place Of IMF And Other World Bank On The Plight Of Nigeria by Ttalk(op): 8:43pm On Aug 02, 2024
IMF, World Bank, and other creditors through their Nigeria representatives and foreign counterparts advised Nigeria to remove fuel subsidies and float the Naira. Today Nigeria has succumbed to their demands by removing subsidies and floating the naira, consequently resulting in inflation and hunger.

Suddenly, IMF and World Bank spokesmen have gone mute, leaving the government of the day to leak his wound.

Is it not glaring that foreign financial institutions have once again failed us?

What does your region stand for?
In the enthronement of democracy, you were busy organizing a 1 million match

When others fought injustice against Jonathan and activated the doctrine of necessity, you were lost in your thought

In 2020 people protested end sars across the nation but you were busy taking orders from MNK to destroy Lagos and kill security officers

Now, there's a protest going on to end bad governance, you are here forming an online protest when you should occupy the Abia government house and demand an increase in wages from 18k, is it an act of ignorance, cowardice, or laziness?

Removing subsidy is not even the problem but removing it while standing like a drunkard on a podium to declare "subsidy is gone". No consultation, no media interaction, not even to sit in the seat of power for 24hrs to have a feel of what the seat is all about. This is why he has agberos everywhere because he too behaves like one. Why an acclaimed educated man failed to first understand the duties of a president by at least going into his new office before delving into such a sensitive issue like fuel subsidy still drives me insane. It's like when a new bank manager starts changing existing policies without stepping foot into his new office. Tinubu is simply a mad man.
Stop displacing your ignorance on SM Buhari didn't include subsidy in the budget for the second half of 2023.

Ojota protest no doubt was led by Yoruba political elites. What did you call the name again? "Ojota Protest", where is Ojota? In Lagos.

They never born that Yoruba man that will lead a protest outside Yoruba land, that is the point. Yorubas are known cowards, cowards cannot lead a national revolution in a multi tribal, multicultural nation like Nigeria, that is the cache.

Only Igbos have the guts of a lion in Nigeria to protest or carry out revolution or uprising against any government outside their region, no other Nigerian tribe have that gut or liver aside Igbos and that was why Tinubu's government were busy attacking Igbos and Igbo leaders accusing them of being responsible for the protest even when Northerners and Yorubas came out publicly to say they support the protest and would lead it.

Tinubu government know that the Northerners and Yorubas cannot do anything meaningful except Igbos join them, that was why they focused on attacking and suppressing Igbos to stop them from joining the protest because they know that without Igbos joining the protest, the protest will fail.

That is the point and you know this truth even though envy, hatred, and treachery won't let you a typical Yoruba man to accept this obvious truth in Nigeria.
I don't like responding to people who constitute a nuisance on social media other than to debunked lies people like you spread.

The democracy you are enjoying today was championed by NADECO, led majorly by the Yoruba, the foremost civil rights people who tackled the military junta's when your bloder was doing 1 million matches for Abacha Yorubas. Today Deji Adeyanju is leading a protest here in Abj while your coward ass is hiding under the bed.

What cause has the Ibo people led other than war?

I boy take your time and stop embarrassing the innocent and civilised Igbo

What has governor of your state done correctly, your governors who are receiving increased allocation are paying 18k minimum wage and you are here blabbing.

WakeUpNigerians:
I think many people who were warned pre-2023 election can now see that truly Tinubu is a criminal and a certificate forger.

He has come to kill, to steal and to destroy.

He and buhari are oppressors and destroyers and I think buhari is a bit better. They cannot build but they can destroy.

Worsestill, they will keep giving excuses on why the destruction is inevitable through their hirelings and illiterate supporters.

Why do you think he has been unable to hold a media chat? He has no plan to fix anything. It is easier for him to keep deceiving you through propaganda rather than fixing anything.

You better protest now to free yourselves from their claws and total destruction.
