Peter Obi will win 6 states. Tinubu will win 20 states while Atiku will win 11 States.

There won't be anything like runoff.

By December many Obidients and Atiku fans will port to Tinubu.

Atiku is likely to get 25% in 24 state.

Tinubu will get 25% in at least 28state conveniently.

Dsalvo:
Incisive. I think the fundamental thinking guiding the actions of Buhari and those he surrounded himself with (like Daura, Pantami, Malami, kyari, Adamu etal) is the belief that Fulanis are marginalized and maltreated.

What has typified Buhari's use of power is the conviction of him and his cabal that the 'unfortunate' lot of Fulanis is the fault of the rest of us all.

They therefore rationalize abuse of power, in favour of Fulanis, to include those not even from Nigeria, as 'just' and divine. They do not feel they are doing wrong or that they owe the rest of us non-Fulanis anything.

Their conclusion then is that they must use ultimate power to redress this 'injustice' against Fulanis.

This is why Gumi etal can say and do what they wants while Igboho and Kanu must be hounded and hunted mercilessly.

Buhari could build the Nigerian equivalent of the Burj Khalifa but he would still be defined a huge failure because productive 'father of a nation' legacy is about uniting people, through leading then by example, to make all citizens productive tools of a nation's greatness whatever their ethnic, religious and sectional background.

Buhari divided Nigeria horribly along the most primordial lines that tends to cause egotistic wars, genocide, internecine strife, religious conflicts , ethnic cleansing, proliferation of child soldiers in civil conflict etc. In short everthing that will turn Nigeria into Sudan, Somalia or Afghanistan.

I may be wrong but I don't believe any of the candidates running, who can win, are as ethno-religiously chauvinistic as Buhari is

Nigerians need to choose wisely but I think we need to be cautiously happy that Buhari and his crew are leaving.
There's nothing that shows an Atiku president would be different. Choosing a leader goes beyond his personal ability. One should also look at the kind of people the candidate listen to, sadly Atiku doesn't have the inner caucus that have different ideology from that of Buhari. In short, Nigeria us in dare need of a leader in the mould of Mandella, Awolowo, Lee Kuan Yew

For some of us that are very keen and interested in the development of this country and voted Buhari based on his change mantra really felt disappointed.

I was disgusted with his comment of 5% at the early days of his administration, his inner believe that Fulani were marginalised and his low sense of attracting radical personalities like Pastor Tunde Bakare in place of people like Patanmi a fundamentalist shows his gross ineptitude and his average administrative capacity.

I watched with disappointment while the northern cabal drags the former Finance Minister Kemi Adeosun on a frivolous charges while protecting their big and useless appointees. All these are pointers to why his administration failed despite his genuine attempt to curb corruption and build infrastructure.

The likes of Fashola, Amaechi, PYO and some other brilliant ministers in his cabinets were made redundant while their ideas and innovation rotten in their brain.

Buhari is a mistake of the century. He failed despite his desires, his passion and his commitment to rescue the nation.

He is not just fit in and clueless with bright ideas to turn the nation around.

This is where Nigerians must watch carefully in 2023 while deciding who to vote.
I have watched the three major contestant and the only one we can try based on past record is Tinubu.

Peter Obi can best be described as MC ( Masters of Ceremony) based on his savings ideology and his elementary ideas of governance. He lacks the in-depth capacity to govern a dying country like Nigeria.

It would be a grave calamity to think where Madam Ngozi Okonjo Iwealla failed would be a place Obi would shine.

Atiku is just the the other side of Buhari, nothing good can come out of him.

May God help this nation

What the north enjoys is only ephemeral.

For over 200 million people to depend on one state to import and export everything they need, it means that the state will always be the most powerful one among others.

The growth in Lagos will spread across all the states surrounding it because most Nigerians and foreigners will come to Lagos to establish their businesses and that will only explode the population and wealth in the region.

Until that arrangement is corrected, no state will come close to Lagos in investments, revenue and population size (markets).
If Nigeria didn't exist won't there be water and port in Lagos?

More than 10states in Nigeria are situated in coastal lane.

Show me a document, either parliamentary legislation or executive policy that says you must use Lagos port and not Onne port or Calabar port?

The last time I import was through neighbouring country, Benin republic.

Show me any government law that mandates you to import through Lagos port

This is funny because the South West is the biggest beneficiary of the one Nigerian project. However, I always tell those who care to listen that a restructured Nigeria is better than a balkanized Nigeria!

Besides, the north can never allow any part of the country leave without a war because they need South West waters, Niger Delta oil and the federal jobs those two create. That's why they consider any call for secession as a call for war. So, if you are not ready to fight the war, then you guys ain't ready to leave yet.
How is SW the highest beneficiary of one Nigeria when you admitted in the second paragraph that the north needs SW water and Niger Delta oil as well as federal jobs?

Can I have some sleep now? I beg just face front. Thanks for your understanding.
I've not even started, I want to prove your foolishness and stupidity before addressing your irritating juvenile delinquency.

The point that I want you to sink into your dull brain is to accept Lagos has always had a huge population irrespective of its small landmass of which the indigenous people make up a large number of the total population.

The indigenous population of Lagos can be compared to other states with similar huge populations that have benefitted from state creation. Example of such state is Kano and Jigawa state.

Another factor you don't know is the RATE of population growth since 1960, while Lagos is growing at an average of 3% we have other states that were growing as high as 6% yet the net growth of Lagos is higher than any other state in Nigeria. That is a prove that Lagos state has always had a huge population since its inception.

It equally proves that the influx of people from the different region only swell the existing population of the state and doesn't remove the indigenous population factor. Being small in landmass doesn't translate to small inhabitants in a coastal terrain like Lagos state

Leave tramadol alone you say No. Na your mate?

You that is so educated is equating indigenous people of Lagos to the overall Lagos population. You see weting education do you?
Daftinone!
While I await your response to my question, Lagos population was 762,000 while Enugu was just 93,000.

That was a pre independence report that indicates Lagos state has huge population before independence, before the influx of people outside the region into the state to tap from it's wealth.

This was a period when Nigeria has not tapped into oil wealth and there were no bridges and FG infrastructure that attracts people from other parts of the region into Lagos.

I don't want to derail the argument just the way you are throwing banters like a child that his sweet is taken away from him

grin grin grin In your mind you think the whole Nigeria is compressed in your tiny state!
Mr Daftinone!
You are the one that is daft and stupid at the same time if you can't comprehend my explanation that Lagos has it's indigenous people from 3 tribes and equally has early Yoruba settlers as well as returnee from abroad and foreigners as EARLY settlers.
That's on it's own is a huge population higher than many states during those period.

Where did I mentioned from my post that the indigenous people of Lagos is up to 22m.

Abeg, am not here for all these your useless analysis with no factual or empirical prove other than the usual online gossip that your type is used to

I don't know why most people are so daft to these reality. A lot don't know that Lagos is the smallest state in the entire country because everywhere is congested they are left to think that Lagos is big. 10 people inside one room and 10 people inside mansion na the same thing?
Speak of what you know and stop embarrassing yourself. The problem with most of you online analyst is that you take online information that are mostly inaccurate just like you have been dishing out here without empirical prove to back your warped argument.

Lagos being small in land mass doesn't mean it's small in population including the indigenous people of Lagos state. For record go and do your research so you'll know Lagos indigene is made of 3tribes. Apart from the early Yoruba settlers and foreigners that swell the population of Lagos state right from inception.

This is entirely different from population of other Nigerians that troop into Lagos every minutes.

With or without people coming to Lagos from other states, Lagos has it's huge indigenous population even larger than many indigenous population from many other states

I've said it before... That Obj statement is nonsense.

Calculate what N100 (assuming everybody spends N100 for food every day) times 300 million persons times 400 years would be. That's N12 trillion. That's more than the entire national budget of of Nigeria from 1999-2007
That's also more than what Nigeria have gotten from crude oil sale during Obj's tenure.
So where did Atiku see the money to steal from?
Even with the clue from the person you quoted you still remain clueless, ignorant and silly. Why is it difficult for you to factor that he was referring to the manipulation of censor figure to benefit a particular people at the expense of Nigeria, or do you expect OBJ a grandmaster of diplomatic words will come out openly in his book and say that Atiku uses his position as VP to jack up the population of the north.

To what benefit will that statement be when his intention was to expose Atiku's criminal act and not to castigate the entire north for what one of their criminal son has done

This op is surely a bitter clown. Lagos that is not bigger than my LG is the place the clown is comparing with kano state. How many indigenous people reside in Lagos apart from the strangers that made up the bulk majority of the state..

There is no way on this planet earth were people that are secluded in one particular place will be more populated than people that are scattered everywhere. Just because people pack themselves like sardines in Lagos doesn't mean they are more populated than people that are scattered everywhere in a vastly populated geographical location. This is common sense!!

And the clown is even comparing the birth rate(polygamous nature) of the Saudis to that of the northerners. Well, clowns like this are best ignored! Because the man doesn't even know what he is talking about.
Stop being stupid and address the issue. Jigawa was carved out of Kano state with 27 local governments, while Kano was jacked up to 44local governments, whereas before the creation of Jigawa the population of Lagos and Kano were said to be similar. How on earth can Kano and Jigawa have double the population of Lagos state in less than 20 years?

You northerners are so cunny and dubious, that is why the only solution to Nigeria's growth will be the outright dissolution of this failed country or a total restructuring with the regional government. No wonder you always piss in your pants each time restructuring is mentioned
