I don't bother to read through all your paragraphs.

That bill would have sent us backwards, it's best the national assembly expunge the direct primaries from the bill and resent to the president for consent.

Hatred would make you sit down to think from your ass.

Beautiful rubbish, how will direct primary set us back according to you.

Some of you would just be talking based on what whom you admire is saying. There is no personal and deep thought on government policy.

How can Nigeria ever be great with citizens like this that support their oppressors?
Do you know meaning not oppression?

NEPA that didn't provide transformer, the community contribute to buy one.

They didn't erect pole and install the cables, it was provided by the community,

Individual buy meter with their money, but NEPA claim ownership

When there's repairs in any of the facilities, the community mobilised and pay for the repair.

They would bring fluntuating light that would end up damaging your gadget

They only bring light in the middle of the night when you don't need it but wont blink it during the day when it's useful.

Huncle, don't be deceived - Nigeria cannot split through deliberations and negotiations. The reason is that the beneficiaries of the dysfunctional system will never let that happen. That's why any call for referendum or secession is perceived as a call for war.
Disintegration will happen naturally, it's just a matter of time.

The north is weak due to BH and banditry, SE us already plague by UGM and cannibal version of IPOB, SS are warming up while the awareness is spreading like fire in the SW, it's just a trigger and the engine would knock

Governor Abdul’aziz Abubakar Yari Of Zamfara Builds $3m Hotel In Lagos With Funds Stolen From Paris Club Refund Cash
Economic and financial Crimes Commission officials in Lagos said they have found a hotel being constructed by Governor Yari of Zamfara state with $3m he stole from London-Paris Club loan refund to Nigerian states.

BY SAHARAREPORTERS, NEW YORKMAY 14, 2017

Economic and financial Crimes Commission officials in Lagos said they have found a hotel being constructed by Governor Yari of Zamfara state with $3m he stole from London-Paris Club loan refund to Nigerian states.

The governor who is the chairman of the Governor’s Forum illegally diverted N19billion reportedly meant for "consultants" from the Paris club loan refund which had been illegally paid into the account of the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) by Nigeria’s Minister of France, Kemi Adeosun and the Central Bank of Nigeria.

SaharaReporters learnt that the hotel is a 100-room property situated in Lekki area of Lagos.

EFCC officials said they have already marked down the hotel as proceeds of corruption and plan to take it over after obtaining a court order.

Apart from the $3million, Governor Yari also diverted N500 million from the Paris Club refund to pay off a loan, an Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) source revealed to SaharaReporters.

According to the source, Mr. Yari withdrew N500m from the N19 billion Paris Club refund from the account of Nigeria Governors Forum from the N522b allocated to the 36 states and deposited the sum into a mortgage bank account.

Mr. Yari then transferred the sum to the mortgage bank from which he had borrowed N800m to purchase to properties in 2013. According to the source, the governor was able to renegotiate his debt from N800m to N500m.

Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari
Overall the governor is said to have embezzled the sum of N2.2 billion from the N19billion set aside illegally to pay "consultants."

SaharaReporters had earlier revealed that Senate President Bukola Saraki and his cronies are also being investigated by the EFCC for his role in the embezzlement of N3.5b from the Paris Club loan through the slush fund placed at the Access Bank by the Nigeria Governors Forum, who claimed it was meant for consultants.

Politics › Re: The Scam Called Fuel Subsidy Removal by Ttalk: 11:37am On Dec 22, 2021
Listic1:
I agree.

"Subsidy payments" may never end in Nigeria. This government has supposedly stopped "subsidy payments" at least once in 2016/17 when Ibe Kachikwu was Minister of State for Petroleum. He even said that PMS will be sold cheaper than the price it was pegged at then in the subsequent years. Contrary to his deceptive claims, the same government is still talking about fuel subsidy removal in 2021/22 which is actually a ruse. How can the government talk about fuel subsidy removal and the same government is still going to dictate the price for which the product will be sold. It means market forces are not going to determine the price of the product. How then can we be discussing deregulation of the sector? Therein lies the humongous SCAM which this government is about to perpetrate on hapless citizens!
You just capture my though with this submission. Anytime government talk about subsidy removal just know they meant price increase.

Whereas there are different between price increase, subsidy removal and deregulation.

You can't talk of subsidy removal when you still dictate the price.

What is deregulation all about when government is fixing price.

I think deregulation in Nigeria context mean restructuring. Deregulation means there would be a huge disparity in price of fuel in different parts of the country which the government is not ready do. It is generally believe that the north is poor and it's the responsibility of the government to protect such region in the interest of Nigeria. Deregulating oil sector would mean most northern region would have to buy fuel at higher price since most of the pipeline that transverse northern region that could ease and enhance cheap traport of fuel is susceptible to vandalisation. This is why every government would always play lip service deregulation but would always come up with subsidy removal when what they are doing is mere increasing the price of fuel
Politics › Re: The Scam Called Fuel Subsidy Removal by Ttalk: 11:11am On Dec 22, 2021
backbencher:
Other countries pay for subsides from taxes

Nigeria pays for subsides by paying from oil revenues that are never stable due to fluctuations in oil prices...meaning most of the time we have to take loans to keep heads above water.

At the end of the day, either we use taxes to pay for subsidy or we keep on relying on very unstable crude oil prices.

Dangote better not import fuel though, but that's irrelevant.
Are you saying Nigerians are not paying tax or what?

The last time I checked, you can't win election without police structure in place.
What political structure made Jonathan president in 2011. Presidential election is different from every other election. It is solely determine by political elite and foreign interest. The populace are always there to queue behind anyone put forward. The president's decline to accent electoral bill pointing defect of section 87 is a pointer that the political elite are not ready to let go the power of chosing who they wanted.

They have said no to direct primary which could give the people power of choice. So having no structure has little or no role to play when it comes to chosing who becomes president of Nigeria

Yoruba man article

A hundred Tinubu no fit defeat Atiku in an election
Atiku won last election .. no be noise .. but took it good because of United North

Atiku already have 13 million votes and how many votes did Tinubu and his Yoruba family gave to Buhari

Tinubu brought in money , private jets, Fulani and north brought in money too..

A kwankwazo will defeat Tinubu.. Elrufia will defeat Tinubu... a saraki will defeat Tinubu.. Obi might go toe to toe with Tinubu

Yoruba people and noise ...

Why Tinubu didn’t contest again Jonathan if he was that powerful.. why negotiating with Buhari.. Tinubu sucked on Buhari 12.5 million votes.. and still lost his dream of Vice.

Elections is all about voting .. Any party in government have the rigging machinery .. but atimes it over inec..

For all this Yoruba noise .. Tinubu Must contest. Tinubu is not Trump .. America is not Nigeria..

North are not slaves to yoruba people neither any tribe

Yoruba should look for a non tribalist .. like Obasanjo and Nigeria might consider the person

But a Tinubu.. Walai Tinubu will fine it difficult winning ya ya Bello..

If Yoruba want make them write article from now to Jerusalem ...

Fact
Nobody trust a Yoruba man in Nigeria and that’s the open secret .

Same reason why yoruba people have been in opposition since the days of Awolowo and will soon go back to opposition.. this time nobody will really take them serious .. Nigerians have seen them finish

From a tribalistic osibanjo to a greedy Tinubu

YORUBA PEOPLE MUST CONTEST..

Power returns North

PDP is the worst political party in the whole universe. Imagine they failed to provide leadership when in power and still failing as opposition.

It is ironical to see that the only opposition we getting from this cruel government is coming from within the party while useless PDP is busy holding meeting in Dubai and visiting London to watch premier league at a time visionless APC is dishing out anti people's policy with impunity.

Is this how they intend to take over power come 2023 when it is clear that they are mentally lazy to play opposition but now resolves to blackmail contestants from other parties.

Total 1591

Nigeria would spend 305b to elect 1050 people.

In short Nigeria would be spending average of 290million to elect each candidate
