Unless you have experienced person on ground that would guide you don't use formalin.
As for treatment using salt and otc 1 kg of salt and 1500 naira worth of otc in half feet of water for 3hours.
Ampiclous becham 2 capule mix in every feeding session for three day

I always have problem in answering some questions reason is that people asking questions fail to give statistics of their pond and fish thereby making it difficult for appropriate response.
The best treatment for fungi infection is formalin bath for 10 to 30 minutes depending on the impact of the infection. However I would not recommend that because it requires experience for its application. Others use bladgon again you have to be very careful. However the use of salt can be very effective at the right dosage.

I have once used ampiclus (spelling) together with the feed with good result

Feeding to satiation is what the book say but practical experience thought me to underfeed. The only condition to feed to satiation is when using recycling system and 95% of us don't have such facilities.
5 'conditions could result in overfeeding
1. Short interval less than 6-8 hours interval
2.Frequent feeding
3. Inappropriate use of size of feed
4. Poor feeding and water method / management
5. Quality of feed

That could be a fungi infection.drain the water if possible treat the pond as well with antifungal drugs. Salt and otc also work at half of one foot for 3day without feeding. Refill the pond to normal level before commencement of feeding.
To avoid future occurrence avoid overfeeding

My experience so far I never see where person go stock pile feeds for fishes.....as they grow they feed less... It's a sygnoid curve for goodness sake.....
