What is more objective than going for a primary election in choosing a party preffered candidate? Tinubu wanted the people to realised that he is about to be sidelined without a reason made known to no one, even by the people he brought to power. He is not requesting anybody to impose him on the people. He is only driving towards democracy even within the political party which i think is better.

But you know that he who comes to equity must come with clean hands.....I know you may want to say Tinubu never came out to say don't vote for ambode, but let's face reality Tinubu collected the ticket from ambode, they said he deviated from masterplan they have been using since 1999. Now Buhari too wants to put someone he's sure will not deviate from his master plan. Let's say the truth, internal party politics is never fair, some will be aggrieved, some won't be treated fairly, u cannot please everyone, sadly the leadership of the party holds all the cards. Its not healthy I know but that's the way internal party politics is. If Tinubu becomes a casualty of party politics, I think he should be a party man through and through, it may sound somehow like a whole Tinubu but then no one can be bigger than the whole party, even a point will come the Almighty Buhari will no longer be In charge of the party, his opinion will not mean shit. It happened to Obasanjo, it happened to all party chairmen, it happened to GeJ, it will happen to buhari, looks like it's about to happen to tinubu. No one wins or rules forever.

What he said about governor of Ogun state is not so much of a big deal, but Buhari is the captain of the ship and in leadership under no circumstance should u try to outshine the master.
And to address the sentiment issue u raise, what is more sentimental than saying u should be president of 200million people because u had a gentleman agreement with the person u think u made president.

Dont get me wrong I am not saying there was no gentleman agreement, but Tinubu of all people should know that in politics gentleman agreement will only work if it serves the interest of the man you have that agreement with.
