Accepted, but was he taken to UK to donate organ, either for money or based on promise of a better life OR is there a proof that the boy willingly chose to donate his kidney to Sonia....it's beyond age. The Ekweremadu's did an untidy job. They need to prove that they didn't manipulate the boy with money to donate to their daughter. You don't pay for organ donation,, these things happen but in the black market with proper measures put in place to safeguard players in the deal..not this random arrangement they made.

You have to prove why the donation should be for Sonia and nobody else, which means you have to explain the closeness. And the boy has to explain why it has to be Sonia. Have they met before.

A 21 years old boy attempted to donate organ to your daughter and you a 60 years old rich man didn't think getting his parents involved by any means is the right thing to do. This is exactly why payment for organ is a crime all over the world apart from Iran, to avoid this kind of inducement of poor people always donating to people with means. There is still the moral question of ekweremadu and his wife, people with wealth, in their 60s negotiating with a 21 years old boy for his organ donated to their daughter. They must have filled some forms along the line to say they are related to the boy. It's a mess for them. The boy may get protection from the UK, state lawyers will argue that he isn't safe in Nigeria with the whole attack on him

Well everyone, including politicians and the rich will somehow suffer the neglect of the health sector. They should keep cornering all the money for themselves and their families, they will soon find out Money doesn't answer all things. As deputy SP if he kept pushing for efforts to effectively equip nigerian hospitals, if he kept pushing for legislators to take less pay so nigerian doctors can earn more , maybe now his problem would be one that money can solve. It all still came from love, the love of one's child or spouse can even make one rob a bank, we have many politicians and elites in Nigeria that would rather do the operation in Nigeria, they'll even pay the doctor to kill the donor and transplant the kidney, his biggest mistake is not trusting Nigerian doctors, plenty willing donors dey Nigeria and e no fit cost him more than 20-30 million, chicken change for a seasoned politician but you know what they say, those wey go perish go perish even if you warn them a million times.

i mean what about the little boy of 15......u get it..plenty willing donors dey naija who are of age and have the right to consent to the deal on their own...we can love our kids and all BUT not at the expense of other people's kids...I wish his daughter gets a donor and quick recovery though
