Realguyman1:I am not a fan of him and I'll never hope that he becomes president. But sadly Tinubu is the only person that will pick substantial votes from all across the country except South East and maybe South south(becos this one Wike is meeting with APC governors ehn, it's scary)....he will get in southwest for obvious reasons, and all the 3 zones of the north by using their governors to buy votes....he may not win the entire north but whoever wins the entire north(I assume Atiku) won't be far in number from him. For Atiku, he has lost a substantial part of his joker, the south east votes, the south south votes and now rivers very shaky....can he win overwhelmingly in the north to cover up for his guaranteed lesser votes in the south? For Obi, he should win the south east if people like APGA and PDP governors decide to play politics with sense and see themselves with Obi as one. South south may still be won by PDP with obi a Close 2nd. It is very important that the new set of people that registered Gets their voter card and go to vote and watch the votes counted. Same is applicable in Lagos State. The north for Obi will be to get 25% of total votes, with the level of vote buying n poverty it may be difficult for an average voter in the north to see sense in voting labour...either they go with Atiku that they see as one of the ir own, or go with their governors that will distribute money and bread n rice to them on behalf of Tinubu, a substantial part of north west will also vote for kwankwaso that they love. Pdp lost the golden chance by not managing Obi and Wike properly...the entire South south and south east that should be in the bag of pdp, they have lost ground. They are now left with fighting APC in the north which is a tough one. Obi/kwankwaso is the third force that can do magic...so much talk about who should have stepped back to be vice. The result of the election will show who can get more votes across the country and who should have stepped down for the other in an alliance. I personally think Kwankwaso should have stepped back, 1. I think obi will get more votes and 2. I think it's logical to let a southerner go after 8yrs of a northerner. |
Moferere:No he is not, he is european |
enonche85:Ok |
I'm happy for them. Must be a tough journey. However people should help others get informed. If it's science, ofcourse it's still God that made it successful, but mention science at least, so others without knowledge of it in similar situation can know. God protect and keep the twins and their parents. |
enonche85:Do you have to carry it in cash....or in your account and please why would they want you to carry it in cash. |
babyboy4every1:This doesn't change the charge from organ harvesting..it's still organ harvesting |
bizzibodi:Eventually that's what will happen. They will just want to explore all options to see how many charges they can knock off first |
meobizy:He is in custody of the UK police.... |
Okealaaye:Alive, yes. Unscathed? It depends on how u define unscathed......I pray the daughter gets a donor, and I pray her parents n David are judged according to the law of the land |
SIMONEKPA7:They were arrested for attempted Organ harvesting, whether the boy is 7 or 100 is immaterial. You think a privileged man, a distinguished senator and one time deputy senate president, in his 60s negotiates with a boy of 21 to donate kidney to his daughter for a better life is fair? Donating kidney is a decision a boy of 21(they said homeless) should take on his own? Because we have not heard about his parent or guardian. |
Funflipper:Loooool...dem talk pass ds one wen Buhari dey find vote |
Kingspin:The CCTV wey dey Lekki toll gate..d other day when Tinubu and sanwo Olu wan do their assignment, dem no off am? |
Judolisco:Even if the boy lied about his age, the asylum too sure...his safety isn't guaranteed in Nigeria, and the fact that t he Nigerian National assembly the biggest law-making organ in Nigeria have made moves to lobby UK to temper justice with mercy is enough proof that the boy will be victimized |
jrusky:Okay the boy is greedy but Ekwèremadu and his wife are not greedy...the political class create monsters with their greed and they will suffer a part of it. When the people vote u into position to look after them and u corner the resources for yourself alone, it's also betrayal and greed. A boy of (even if he is 21) that doesn't have the means to live a good life like your daughter is the one that should donate his kidney to your daughter...some of you deserve these leaders you have |
Kobicove:Everybody exploiting underprivileged people will have their day somehow...Ekweremadus are having theirs, the ones abusing their domestic staff will have their |
They should.stop being dramatic abeg..na prisoner exchange...all boko haram captives gone...are we a joke to you guys, just make sure you get the abducted people back safely as negotiated with the terrorists....make e no be say boko Haram carry buhari on handicap |
enonche85:U have to declare that amount in cash? |
I wont be surprised if she decamps to APC |
Kaysalas:I can only choose or tilt towards what I see and understand, I may be wrong, others may view or see things differently, ofcourse the way I see Obi others may see him differently...I appreciate that...we all won't reason the same way and it's okay...like I said I MAY BE WRONG. But if I may ask, do you have a preference for the presidency come 2023, if yes who. |
enonche85:As reported by the reporter on TV the day the news broke, it was said that the police arrested them on their way to Turkey, and it is believed they were on their way to purchase an organ... Of course the more money you have available the better for you, but to carry a lot of money in cash.....don't get me wrong, I don't know the maximum amount u are allowed to carry on u in cash but if it's about what u have in ur account or in your card, no issue about that. Was your brother and his wife mandated to declare that 10kUSD in cash..like carry-on cash? |
Kaysalas:I do not see him as a part of the group, the state he governed and the people he governed have been saying great things about him time, the man himself has been releasing interesting notes about his stewardship, when I see facts to suggest he contributed to mess on ground, I will review my position. And ofcourse if anyone genuinely thinks he is a part of the mess, it's okay to not vote for him too...my point is people should try someone else, different from what has failed us in the past. |
If Tinubu or Atiku wins the next election, then Nigerians would have deserved all the economic hardship that would arise from that decision. SOme may talk of rigging, but we all know the major rigging is vote buying, so if Nigerians are "WISE" enough to sell their votes to either Tinubu or Atiku, who belong to the group that have made u poor, then they would have no right to complain If something u have been trying does not favour you, It cannot be too difficult to try something new |
na d master plan wey e wan extend to the whole of Nigeria be dis |
This Machina ehn......na correct man e dey gime joy.. Lawan should go an rest.. |
Just put it appropriately..NAPTIP kills man in detention |
Dsalvo:So is it up to Ekweremadu to tell the court that the boy is a willing donor..or it is the boy that will tell the court that he is a willing donor. If Ekweremadu says the boy chose to do it willingly and the boy says he chose to do it for money and promise of a better life, who do you think the court will believe. You also need to understand that the boy has been with the police, they are extracting information from him, proof of conversation, negotiation, all of that, they would have promised him better life, Do you have the complete charge...let them come up with the charges, they have so much to deal with. Going to Turkey with 20kUSD to purchase kidney(do you think the police will throw that charge up without having solid proof, like tapped up conversation)..it's beyond the boy's age... |
nkwuocha:U sound like I am trying to create a soft landing for the ekweremadus..I am only trying to connect the dots and rationalize why the ekweremadus will not get out of this..trying to point out that the investigators were definitely steps ahead of them and must have valid grounds to charge them.....and yes your points are valid |
mbjsuki:I also don't want to judge but it's difficult to believe that they may have committed this act ignorantly.....when someone has to go through organ donation, I want to believe the doctor and hospital will explain to them ways of getting a kidney donor, and implications of trying to buy one under the law. They won't just tell them hey your daughter needs another kidney and leave them to figure out how to get one |
nkwuocha:There is this story that the boy is not a match, there is also another story that the doctor alerted the police after the boy claimed he was 15, there is something not adding up. I want to assume the doctor telling the ekweremadus the boy's organ doesn't match is a plan to lure the parent to the UK.....something is just not adding up |
enonche85:It's beyond that... even if the guy is 60, by law kidney should be donated not bought, they also have to prove that the boy just decided to donate to their daughter for free, unfortunately for them if the boy has proof of some payment of conversation talking about payment, then it's over for them. Don't forget the boy has been with the police before the Ekweremadu's were arrested, he would have told them stories, they would have tapped up conversations of ekweremadus....the police also said they were on their way to Turkey to purchase another after the boy's organ failed....I don't think the UK police will just throw random charges if they don't have recorded proof of what he was going to do in Turkey...I also think 20kUSD cash found in him is too much to carry on you in cash.......For example, na example o, imagine there has been exchange of calls between ekweremadus and a known organ trafficking syndicate in Turkey, and ekweremadu was on his way to Turkey and had 20k USD on him and ekweremadu already told the doctor in the hospital that they have another donor and they are going to get the donor........how does he want to prove that his trip to turkey with that much money isn't to purchase another organ...see who God wan catch..no way out |
oyatz:The nation needs lot of situation like this to expose these crooked, wicked leaders....they must have sense by force...if they steal they should spend it in the country....instead of sending their kids abroad, they should use the stolen wealth to build good schools at home, at least they will employ Nigerians, same with hospitals and manufacturing conpanies |
