rolams:The governors are playing the last minute game. They want to give the old notes some form of legitimacy because they have to push out the ones they kept in their closets. step 1 of their game is to make the people feel the old notes is still legal tender(that's why all of them are announcing, u can spend it in my state), then step 2 is to start buying people's conscience. At least to buy someone's vote, you will have to offer the person something that has value. |
The governors will use this week to try to give the old notes some form of legitimacy. They will try as much as possible to convince voters from their states that old notes are still legal tender. Dear masses, dont fall for that trick. They just want to push the money they have kept in their houses into your hands in return for your votes.....dont accept it. If they come, tell them to bring new notes or old 200naira |
na only mumu dey give counter order to orders of the president in a system structured the way Nigeria is structured. It is sad because a leader should lead by example and set examples by his actions but in reality, a presidential order can override the supreme court ruling, (without consequences in a nation like ours where legislators are just idiots who dont know how to do their jobs.) |
that one na baby Elrufai.......some gullible ones will go and hail him, then the guy will come out and say see them, i am now a good person because i posted their candidate.... |
You did |
If Wike was a deep thinker. He wouldn't go all out against Atiku. You would just do his dirty job underground. I don't know if he thinks he's dealing with babies. For over 4months he was practically telling atiku, answer me o, if you don't answer me I will go to ApC o....that one did not even blink and eye. Now the apc he has indirectly endorsed dun dey meet brickwall. Front roadblock, Back shame no go gree am go back. Those ones don't even want him again. They have poached more valuable players |
Weyrey..parting gift to who....parting gift to vote buyers You did not appeal to the president to resolve ASUU strike for months YOu did not appeal to the president to do all he can to make fuel available You did not appeal to the president to reduce unemployment You did not appeal to the president to stop police brutality Now because the significant part of the resources you have planned to use to mobilize for election(pleasant way of saying vote-buying) have become valueless, u come dey write letter.....keep wailing Arakunrin....u guys have been in power for 8 years in charge of the resources of the land, if u need any financial resources to campaign against people that are not in government, then we can as well call you a failure already |
if u like go sell ur vote for weytin no be legal tender because one shortingo said u should take it.......Governors are fooling you to accept it...old notes apart from 200 have lost legitimacy on the streets, if ELrufai, Ganduje and Tinubu wan pay u for ur votes, u better request for new notes |
gentlesmithugo:loool...mount has been dead for a while and he keeps making excuses to use him.....you are in 10th position, you should not be resting players to start a player that is out of form and thinking of switching to another club.... |
that idiot will not learn...he still sneaked mount into the starting lineup |
Tonto Dike will forever be hurt over this man's matter...FOREVER and EVER till the end of time...she will never move on completely...... |
Bigseven:that is the keyword....indicted not convicted. |
they berated Obi that he went to campaign in Lagos but did not visit the oba of Lagos whose only motivation is money,...Tinubu went to Ibadan but did not Olubadan, dem no see that one |
Aston Villa should do this for world peace |
If he likes, he should fly him to campaign ground...old things have passed away. The spirit is that a failed performance does not deserve another chance. |
Balablu |
.I know politicians have stolen your money, did they steal your sense too. You will attack and burn banks because of policy made by APC government but you will go to the polls 7 days after, to vote in another APC government.. |
Any politician that pays you for your vote has given you value for your vote. You will have no right to complain if he doesn't govern you properly. If e no go last you for 4 years, don't collect. If e go last you, think of the generation after you. But if devil dey play with you and you must sell, don't collect what is not legal tender, president dun tell u weytin be legal tender, old 200 all new notes.
|
As far as I am concerned, this one na former governor already. Won't win another term |
The only CBN directive we know and respect is that of the star boy Godwin Emefiele. And in any case, the president of the country spoke, no person can give a counter order, this man would have finished answering his query already. |
Throwback:Ok now , in the absence of money to buy votes, we will see the result of the organic support next weekend |
Ok we have heard you Daily Trust, no distract us, the most important is that CBN is still the institution receiving old bills apart from 200 |
One question the masses should ask themselves is this....why are the governors collectively more angry than the people suffering the real hardship...why were they not angry on other issues that affected the masses in the past.... these governors are fighting for their lives, only Bola Tinubu can guarantee them being in business after May 29, they will die there |
looooooooooooooooool |
ufine200:your fake news just got debunked by CBN....this is how you people spread falsehood and create damage...u will make people go to banks to think they can deposit, banks will not collect from them then the people will start attacking bankers again.... |
GAZZUZZ:Ok i get you now...but my brother that will create serious damage..i think it will even be worse than what is on ground now. The masses will be massively affected much more than this. And freezing transaction will not do much because by now, funds for vote buying are at different homes already |
GAZZUZZ:i think that will create a bigger problem.......vote buyers will always disguise under the hardship on masses and freezing accounts may not work because sincerely money meant to buy votes are not in the banks, they are in homes of politicians already(most of it in old notes)....u can see they are not fighting that the CBN should provide more new notes for the people..they just want the old notes to still have life ....I think Buhari will eventually allow all old notes to co-exist with new ones till maybe April....but that will be announced after the election..... To stop vote buying, it is not enough to just stop the capacity of the buyer, it is also important to make the instrument of transaction appear valueless to the vote sellers. That is why the governors are telling their people u can still spend it in my state, so the vote-sellers can still believe they are getting something valuable in return |
Transaction is much more cashless in southwest compared to the North BUT no protest in the north, na southwest dey burn bank buildings ... wonders |
html14java:he had to be very measured with his actions and utterances...Federal Government has receipts of EndSARS activities, 2 weeks to his election, enough time to do damage. Sanwo Olu doesnt want stories that touch at this last minute, I'm sure the custodian of Lagos himself doesnt want that too....at all at all if e no get presidency, make e still fit hold on to his lagos |
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu believes there is no need for violence as the Supreme Court is looking into this controversial matter and will make its position known on February 22. Looooooooooool........Jide dodged a bullet |
maasoap:Your antecedents speak volumes, Expecting you to understand the logic would be exaggerating your intelligence....run along now. |
will Tinubu still inherit Buhari's Northern supporters....una never know anything |
