multicast:Bros, your honeymoon ended so soon......., in my own opinion most marriages pass through this phrase. i will be four years by next month in marriage. Unfortunately but true, Your wife might not know she is doing all this to you. Courtship is massively different from marriage women are encoded to test, and adjust boundaries in marriage, while the man is still relishing the idea of his new status (being married), she would have gone far in adjusting boundaries by miles, It will take a major event for readjustment because the minute you try that, she tells you that you are not loving me anymore, you are seeing someone else and the likes........... Firmness and communication (not just talking but real communication) and be on the look out for a major slip from her to readjust the boundaries. And that she loves you dearly but cannot help herself. |
@Freest, Jacob placed a curse(in Gen 49:5-7) on Simeon & Levi (which transcended down their generations) all because they stood for their sister, Dinah (in Gen 34:25-31). No matter what your dad has done or doing, humble he with mature words of wisdom spoken softly because if you push him to anger or increase the existing anger and he place a curse on you, it will be on you (because he fathered you). You dare not leave your father's house without his full blessings (i guess you are the first born). Even if your father is a wicked man, wizard or the most terrible man in the world, there is a great power he has over you in the fulfillment of your destiny, plead with him to proclaim blessings upon you and not curses, you noted that he said he will not miss you (that is a curse if you don't know). If i were you, i will send him a text apologizing and when i return home this evening, i will go on my kneel to beg him to forgive me for my acts this morning. Also talk to your mum and try to lift her spirit up instead of looking for a way to hurt your dad (or indirectly hurt yourself). Find a way to mediate (they see that their son is growing into a man), never you take sides. They are adults and have lived/known each other for almost 30years and for them to have gone this far that means they have come through it this far. |

Hi readers, I just want to share my true life story with you so that you can learn from it. We are human beings, we make mistakes every day but it left for you to learn from your mistakes. My name is ‘anonymous’ I wont mention where I come from for security reasons. I met this guy in 2001 when I was writing WAEC, his name is GuyA. We fell in love. “He was everything a woman would ask for; he is fair, handsome, intelligent and God fearing, he loved me so much, he shared the little he had with me, he was willing to do anything I ask for though he didn’t have much because he was still in second year at university of Nigeria, Enugu campus. “He did everything possible for me to gain admission into the university. I eventually gained admission in 2003 at Enugu State University of Science and Technology and graduated in 2007. I don’t know what came over me. I had a fling with this guy named GuyB. Though I never loved him, but I became pregnant for him. I didn’t know what to do, but terminating the pregnancy was not an option. I didn’t want to lose GuyA. It was as if my world has crumbled. I didn’t tell anybody not even my best friend because I never could tell what would happen if I did. I made a smart move by telling GuyA that I was pregnant for him. Of course, he believed me because he trusted me so much but I betrayed his love for me. He came to see my people, though my parents are dead. I eventually put to bed, a baby girl. This was in 2008. Do you know what my baby was exactly the carbon copy of GuyB, the guy I had a fling with? I was not surprise because I knew the pregnancy wasn’t GuyA’s but I thought the baby would’ve resembled me. Of course, I was wrong. GuyA accepted us even when he knew the baby does not look like him or me. Ever since, I have been dying in silence. My conscience kept killing me. At a point, I hated my own child seeing a picture of another man in her. My husband, GuyA loved her so much more than anything. In 2010, I had another baby boy for my husband. My joy knew no bounds. I was really happy, my husband was happy as well. In 2012, I had another baby boy for my husband, GuyA. Even at that, he loved my daughter more than his two biological sons. At a point, I became jealous but what can I do. I just couldn’t bear it any more so I decided to give my life to Christ and beg God for forgiveness which I know he has done. This I did because I couldn’t continue to die in silence. It was now for me to confess to my husband but how would I achieve that without breaking my home? I didn’t want to loose my home, I loved my husband and my kids. “He is a wonderful man but I betrayed him. I prayed and asked God to give me the strength to confess to him… On the set day, I first called him on phone to ask him if he would ever forgive me. He asked what I meant by that. He asked if I was alright and I said yes. He hanged up on me. I cried like a baby. When he came back from work that same day, I served him his dinner. After that, I went with him in the room and told him to forgive me that he should not punish our daughter for what she does not know about but punish me. He Already Knew That He Is Not The Father Of Our Daughter: “He asked again what I meant by that. I narrated everything that transpired between GuyB and I. To my greatest surprise, he dropped a bombshell. He said he knew all these years that he was not the biological father of our 4-year old daughter. I asked him if he knew about it and didn’t bother to ask me? He said that he knew that someday I was going to tell him but he never knew it would come this soon. It was as if the ground should open and swallow me. I was so ashamed of my self that I bowed my face in tears but he cuddled me and said he’d forgiven me long ago. He said that we pray every day OUR FATHER FORGIVE US OUR SINS AS WE FORGIVE THOSE TRESPASS AGAINST US, why won’t he forgive me? “He said no one is perfect and that we make mistakes in life. He said that I was a nice person and that we have been through a lot in life. So, he cannot abandon me now that I needed him most. He told me that he could possibly throw me out so that people will laugh at me but he has always loved me. “As for my daughter, as far as he is concerned, she is his daughter. He’s has always seen her as one and that he will always love us. I was short of words, all I could do was to cry and thank him and thank God for the kind of man he has given me because I know that no man would take that from any woman no matter what except by the special grace of God. I am now a happy person and I have given my life to Jesus Christ. We must learn how to confess our sins no matter what so that Satan will be put to shame and as well learn how to forgive. We now live in the UK. I also had my two boys in the UK. http://talkofnaija.com/news_details.aspx?NewsId=A27DC637-F4F2-4FBF-B544-651A9C48BFC4#0 |
North West - Julius Malema was sent packing under police escort from strife-torn Marikana on Monday, and threatened with arrest if he didn’t leave the area at once. Malema and his entourage had arrived in two cars at Wonderkop stadium to address striking Lonmin workers, but was forced to leave after a brief stand-off with police monitoring proceedings. The expelled ANC Youth League president was escorted out of the area by at least 10 police vehicles, with a helicopter hovering above. Malema and his aides were about to walk into the stadium when a throng of police officers cut the group off and informed them that he was not welcome. The firebrand – who seemed surprised at the turn of events – tried to plead with the police to let him through as he was “only an ordinary citizen attending a legal meeting”, but the law enforcement officers would have none of it. Copy of malema at marikana Malema turned and walked towards the Nkaneng informal settlement, but was again stopped in his tracks by the police. “I’ve walked away [from the stadium]. Are you now [limiting] my movement?” Malema asked. An officer who had been in an altercation with Malema earlier said: “Mr Malema, I want you out of this place. I am going to arrest you if you don’t leave.” A frustrated Malema was seen throwing a hand in the air as he continued walking towards the scene of the massacre in which 34 miners perished at the hands of the police a month ago. On several occasions, police blocked his way, and two Nyalas were used to obstruct him at one point. A command could be heard echoing through police radios, ordering repeatedly: “Escort him out of the area… Escort him out of the area!” Things seemed to be steadily getting out of control as about 30 heavily armed police officers surrounded Malema, his bodyguards and suspended youth league secretary-general Sindiso Magaqa. During the exchange, a member of Malema’s entourage shouted that he’d heard officers saying, “let’s isolate him and shoot him”, in reference to the former youth leader. Malema started shouting repeatedly at one of the officers: “[Does] this man want to shoot me? Does this man want to shoot me?” Magaqa and Malema’s bodyguards then had to restrain Malema, bundling him into his car. The police saw the group off and did not return until Malema’s vehicles had disappeared down the N4. Hundreds of strikers rose to their feet and shouted “Let’s go fetch him”, on hearing news of the incident, but were persuaded not to. Malema refused to comment on Monday, but said he would hold a press conference at the Holiday Inn Express in Sandton on Tuesday. Striking miners asked the media to leave the stadium while they discussed whether to settle with Lonmin. Speaking on behalf of miners, Bishop Jo Seoka said they were hoping the strike would end after another round of salary negotiations that were to be held last night. Seoka said the employees, who had been demanding wages of R12 500, would table a revised offer. It is believed that the strikers have lowered their demands, hence they wanted the media to leave. Meanwhile, legal experts have dismissed accusations that the government has imposed an undeclared state of emergency by deploying the army in its crackdown in the violence-hit mining sector, calling it a case of “politicians engaging in hyperbole”. Zuma – who is obliged under the constitution to inform Parliament promptly of any decision to deploy troops – is still officially to notify the legislature of his decision. SANDF troops entered Marikana on Saturday as part of the crackdown announced last week by Justice and Constitutional Development Minister Jeff Radebe on illegal gatherings, the carrying of dangerous weapons, incitement and threats of violence. Constitutional law expert Paul Hoffman said the law allowed the president to deploy troops and inform Parliament later. “The police are all hands to the pumps and need extra help. There is a big under-utilised military base next door.” http://www.iol.co.za/news/crime-courts/malema-booted-out-of-marikana-1.1385230#.UFiX9KMnBKk

There is no week this woman does not make the headlines........... (and it's always on the negative side) |

i don't think the team that planned the layout of Abuja were that dull to have made such a mistake, cos when planning for one rich man, you have to attach 6+ common man to him(that could come in form of driver, cook, cleaner, gardener, market woman, gate man and the likes) who as well will have their own family members. |
Bobajo: Unfortunately, this is the most accurate description of what is happening. Mpape is too close to Maitama to survive. Just like Maroko (now renamed Oniru) was too close to Victoria Island in those days. And to be fair to the FCDA, all the houses in Mpape were built illegally. I know this because my mom in law has/had 2 houses there and she said at the time they bought the land, FCDA told them that Mpape is zoned to be a quarry in the Abuja Masterplan, and that building houses there is at their own risk. Mind you this was over 15 years ago. I really feel for the woman. Nigeria just dont treat citizens who are not rich right. It's unfortunate.just to correct a notion that has been carried by many, not all houses in Mpape are illegal, agreed the master plan show that Mpape is a quarry site but some people were given approval cos i doubt if funds running into hundreds of million naira will not be commented to a project on illegal land. there are houses in mpape that can match buildings in Maitama and i know of a state house police quarter located in mpape or what do you say of ITV that i broadcasting from Mpape. I agree that the master plan marks mpape as a quarry site (but a friend informed me that building at your own risk clauses was included as a result of hazard that might happen living at such site). Just wonder why the rich are all of a sudden interested in a rock blasting site a residential area? |
what do Mpape people expect......, it is the next target for the rich politicians (those just or currently in power). there is no more land in Wuse, wuse II, Garki, Asokoro, Maitama (or why do you think our first ladies are fighting over the land close to Nanet Suite) and even the newly opened up areas like Maitama Extension, Lokogomo and Jahi, that are quite close to the city center has been quickly shared among themselves and i tell you, it wasn't enough. These rich guys can't afford to go all the way to virgin area like Karshi, Orozo, Bwari, kwali, or along the Airport road becos it's far and necessary amenities are not there. The closer sub-hub to the city center is of course Mpape, it's less than 5mins drive to the heart of Maitama and Anyone that has ever been to Mpape will attest to the fact that from Mpape (which is an elevated settlement) you can see the awesome beauty of Abuja (infact, you can equal Mpape to Ministers' Hill if not better when it come to getting a great view of the city). i need not mention that majority of the artisan, traders, labourers, low income earners (both public and private), drivers etc are living in mpape in order to survive in the over priced city called Abuja. It's a pity that the rich has set their eye on Mpape, they won't stop till it's brought down. |
A friend narrated his own experience, when no, avoiding and threats falls on deaf ears, he resulted to cooking up a story with a doctor friend, that he tested positive to HIV. Guess what? the ex never called again talkless of visiting. |
Records shows that in August 1893, Mum-Zi became a grandmother at age 17. Mum-Zi was member of Chief Akkiri's harem on the island of Calabar, Nigeria, She became a mother at the age of 8 years, 4 months, Her daughter, Zi, also gave birth extremely early, at 8 years 8 months, thus making Mum-Zi a grandmother. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_youngest_birth_mothers |
What are u guys happy for? That seven tiny Nigerian banks made the 1000 list. Did u guys see the figures of Bank of American compared to Zenith,159.2b to 2b. What this means is Bank of American can buy up the Nig banking sector without blinking. |

This New City Gate provides a dynamic entryway to Nigeria’s new capital city, serving multiple symbolic and practical functions. The iconic design of the Gate’s tower and pedestrian bridge creates an international landmark that points the way toward a modern future, while embracing the country’s heritage. The bridge’s pylon and structural cables can be seen as an immense loom, metaphorically weaving together Nigeria’s many different peoples into a single fabric. The cables suspending the bridge can display a changing array of flags, of the Nigerian states, African or world nations. Pedestrians animating the bridge in their brightly-colored clothing are “threads” on this Living Loom. The form of the Gate also evokes the traditional Nigerian bow harp, with its gentle curves and strings. Local laterite clay formed into pavers make up the walking surface of the bridge. The concrete outer surfaces are painted to match the clay, their hue reminiscent of archaeological terra cotta Nok sculptures found in the earth around Abuja. The pedestrian bridge connects the two sides of the 98 acre site: the formal reception hall and plaza to the north and the “casual” elements to the south. The formal side is built on top of a hill, with views of Central Abuja, while the casual side with its planted roofs, virtually blends into the landscape. The amphitheater, encircled by a sloping path that links the bridge and lower plaza, has a canopy of photovoltaic panels that shades the seating area by day and powers the lighting of the bridge at night. http://www.worldbuildingsdirectory.com/project.cfm?id=2327

As part of the measures being put in place by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), towards repositioning the transportation sector of the FCT, the administration, is considering licensing six companies, to manage the taxi sub-sector of the territory. Minister of the FCT, Senator Bala Mohammed, who dropped the hint, said, this is in a bid to bring sanity to the city’s transport sector. The minister disclosed that, the administration is putting final touches to the new transportation agreement, that would usher in credible route concessionaires, to manage the sector. He said that, in the new arrangement, the government may provide subsidy to the operators, to enable the common man enjoy low transportation fare in the FCT. Peoples Daily recalls that, the FCT transportation sector had, of late, witnessed series of challenges, which has rendered it services, inefficient and insufficient, to serve the need of the teeming residents in the territory. It would be recalled that, the London Taxi Scheme, of the administration, which had been managed by the Abuja Leasing Company (ALC), was late last year, scrapped by the administration, as it failed to meet up with its requirement. Also, the transportation agreement, signed with some companies, contracted to manage the Abuja Urban Mass Transit, which terminated last year, was not renewed by the administration, leaving the teeming residents of the FCT, at the mercy of the Abuja green bus and taxi operator, who are accustomed to charging exorbitant fares. The decision of the administration, not to renew the agreement was not unconnected with the failure of the companies to achieve the objectives of the contract, which includes provision of affordable, efficient and sufficient transportation services to FCT residents. http://www.peoplesdaily-online.com/news/abuja-metro-news/5616-fcta-to-license-six-firms-to-run-taxi-sub-sector |
