mandarin: This case will be appealed and end up in the supreme court. I'm not sure the tribunal's position is not conflicting with parts of the electoral law that empowers INEC to exercise its authority but since am not a lawyer, I will like to see how this case ends. I wish whosoever win the best of luck. The constitution is superior to the electoral act. |
Politics › Re: Supplementary Election Is Not Recognized By Law---osun Election Tribunal by tuniski: 4:36pm On Mar 22, 2019 |
deomelo: Supplementary election is part of the electoral law and the same act that created INEC via the Nigerian constitution. The tribunal obviously did not read the act or they are just ignorant, clueless or just rendered bought and paid for verdict. The constitutional requirement is simple majority and 25% of 2/3 that overrides any electoral act inconsistency! |

MadeInTokyo: All supplementary elections tommorrow will all be declared illegal, null and void--Quote me It is no recognized in the eyes of the law. APC and INEC played themselves. Tambuwal and others in Kano, Bauchi, Adamawa, Benue and Plateau whether PDP or APC who won at the first ballot, will be delcared Governors elect, it is only a matter of time. Very true. |

MadeInTokyo: Supplementary election is not recognized by law---Osun election Tribunal
All those supplementary election holding on Saturday in KANO, SOKOTO, BAUCHI, BENUE, ADAMAWA are exercise in futility, they will be declared null, void and illegal.
PDP has won those states in the eyes of the law .
INEC is just engaging in mere electoral exercise and waste of tax payers money
That is exactly what Tambuwal is challenging in court. The concept of inconclusive and supplementary elections are criminal. |

Latest dancing steps loading. Pdp actually won on field but, apc stole the mandate. Now the tribunal will do justice by retrieving it and returning to the lawful winner pdp. |

andico34: on point..... about +200 votes About 2000 certainly more than 1000 cos the rerun of 27th has been declared illegal. Therefore minus the deduction from the winning position of Adeleke over oyetola on 22nd. Where the alteration too is added, the 2000+ margin of victory expected. Anyway, even by one let the stolen mandate be reclaimed. |

OK.

alujonjonkijon: im not in court but from the reports read above,im telling it categorically that the verdict will be in favour of APC. you just dont dump documents and evidence on the court, you must specifically tied the evidence to a particular fact sought to be proved.some lawyers make this mistake everytime, you tender a statement of account and you expect the court to make sense out of the multiple entries in the statment without reffering the judge to the particular entries in favour of your case.who is the pdp's lawyer pls Na wa oooo CjN |

At the end truth has prevailed. Making it a pdp's fight would amount to self interest rather than upholding justice and rule of law.
The PDP has been serially blackmailed as the habourer and enabler of corruption, an outright defense of CJN will be spinned by this tyrannical and repressive regime as dejavu.
Now the PDP can get Frontal cos the CJN is already in public glare an innocent man. |
