Thank you so much for responding... I have completed my application but my overall score is way lower than what I got on the CRS Tool (almost 40 points lower). That's my concern.
What she meant was, you are to enter details of your Bsc twice since you have two, did you?

Oh I can see you are a newbie. The more reason someone said earlier that do not believe all being said here. Dummy request also helps them to keep their driver's account alive.

Thank you for those recommendations. You have or know someone that teach these courses?
Please you need to read and understand this process, do not depend solely on what being told

I read on your post that it's only certificates you have. You need a degree/certificate of a minimum of 3 years completion to be combined with any approved certification to have "two or more degrees ".

So bolt is now using style to charge more than 25% commission?
Bolt is just a dubious company, and this is the more reason they make the calculations not to be clear enough for anyone.
You wouldn't have known if you did more trips.
This means they are charging about 23%.

Abeg o my ogas, I saw this sign on our bus when I started the engine today. The last time it was serviced was 14th of August. Is it something that need urgent attention as I need to use the bus tomorrow to go somewhere.
It's a 2016 Toyota Hiace
It could be wrong oil viscosity was used, and it could be the oil level is low.
Let a mechanic check it else the damages will be very costly.

1) learn how to drive first
2) come to Lagos and learn how to drive again
3) then drive danfo for 6months stretch
4) get registered on bolt, uber and indriver then complete 2k trips each
5) drive Lagos - Portharcourt
Lagos - Akwa
Lagos - Calabar
Lagos - kano
Lagos - Accra
All these trips to and fro do it constantly for 6months and finally
6) all of these in 15years without having a single accident.

A quick update on my experience doing uberbolt so far

I got a Nigerian used Honda city 07 at a cheap price did the papers and servicing

Friday i didn't work cos i discovered i drive back empty from where a trip ends to my house when its becoming 3pm to attend to my other hustles.

Veterans in the house especially people in the ant's league please advise me. What am i not doing right
What to do for instances like this is to set destination to where you intend going.
You will surely get trips going that route rather than driving empty.

Sir I disagree with you on this…
Ghost1994:
One of the major car odor is Driver sleeping in the car turning the car to a room self contained.
I quite agree to this. I only used myself as a case study since I don't sleep in the vehicle.

Ghost1994:
Flood is not riders fault if you detect a flood area and you know your car can’t swim. Nobody force anybody that’s why there’s an option for cancellation.
During my early days on e-hailing, I picked a lady going to the road by VGC. Meanwhile, she already spoke with someone on the phone who told her there was flood. I had to inform her I won't be driving into any flood if we come across any.
The flood was so much that I had to stop by the roundabout even though she insisted I should go further since other vehicles were driving through.

Next I got was my 1st 1 star in uber.

With all you have stated so far on this thread, what percentage of riders do you think does this?
I think 0.001% does that.

And as previously stated there are good and bad riders, how do you expect the driver to know who the rider is without you displaying good behaviour?

And as for the smelling vehicles, what is the major culprit? Flood!
Most riders do not care if you turn your vehicle to the canoe as long as they get to their destination.

Okay thank you sir
This is where your intuition comes into play.
You ought to weigh your rider when she/he asked for a stop.
Like me, I tell you straight up that I do not wait unless I drop you off at your stop then request for another ride when you are ready.

And please, don't just sit like a shooting duck but try calling to let her know you are not supposed to wait in a place for too long as waiting time doesn't pay you.

Please i have a question regarding Bolt drivers because i am so fed up with them.

- Why would a driver accept a request & switch off their phone.

- Some will accept your request and set "Driver has arrived" and then refuse to pick their calls or respond.

WHY? WHY?

I mean if a driver isn't going my way, all he needs is for him/her to tell me and I will cancel.

Is Bolt forcing drivers to accept rides or what?
Here lies the answer to your question.

I will try to utilize my time more but one is at time I don't get request for more than 30 minutes even an hour don happen b4, the worst day so far in terms of earnings was Tuesday I exceeded my driving time and still didn't net up to 8k though av improved after then meeting 13k plus 3k5h on indriver on Wednesday and I left home around 10am and returned around 11pm compared to Tuesday that I left by 5am and returned home by 5pm (after exhausting my driving time) yesterday I left home by 5pm and returned by 11pm I net 8k but I know I can do better I just need few advice from the ogas... Thank you so mu h I will work on my driving hours as you stated.
What you seem not to understand is your starting point matters.
Someone starting from chevron can put on his app anytime and get enough requests but you seem to start from a slow area.
My area is a slow area, so more reasons to leave there early and set destination to the island (I mostly use castle avenue). Only on bad days I get to the island by 9AM.
Also learn to select trips and that can't be done in a slow area, so more reasons to start early and head towards busy areas.

And other well wishers in the house I need ur help na only rental money ,Uber commission and fuel money no profit at all pls any advice you can drop your number if you want me to call pls it very important.
I drive only on uber and my daily target is 15.
Seems I read somewhere about your driving hours which you need to work on.

Like myself, I start work by 5am and be on my way home anything from 3pm. Being on my way home means I try to get destination trips towards my home, so by 6-7pm latest, I am home. This is done Monday to Friday while rest on Saturday then work 4hrs on Sunday. The reason for the weekend schedule is because Uber is useless to me during the weekend .

In all, I don't work more than 12hrs daily.

Okay, let me respond to this current post first...if it is 9 and u r seeing 6, does that make u right?
Everybody is right in his own decision for his life not towards a set truth. If u deviate from the truth u r definitely wrong.

To the previous post, I meant u r right in the first thought in your first paragraph not the second thought in the second paragraph. Hope u understand.

Or maybe u mean I shouldn't have said u r right or not but just state what the correct thing is? I really want to understand what u r trying to say.
Now I understand your post.

At first, it meant the first time I would make a right post but this post made it clearer.

U r right d first time.
For my style and d type of trips I fulfill that's best for me. Otherwise I would pick second option. Do short short trips and collect the 23k then resume my normal MO
The second option is N2,300 not 23k.
As for me, I would go with the first option. Starting by 6 am means I would have met the condition by 12PM then enjoy 10%.

This is the mentality you need to change. I can see 9 and you can see 6 doesn't mean both parties are not right. And just like some people believe they have to work like ants and others say otherwise doesn't mean anyone is wrong.

I always have the pleasure to read and post on this thread but not for judgement that requires who is right or what is wrong.

The third option looks tricky.
I translated it to be 30% of trip fare but you must complete the conditions before entitled to it.

Or is the 30% bonus coming from somewhere else?

thanks for the advice. Fortunately, all the trips I got was just around my hood. That was the interesting part. Insecurity has increased. Ojota interchange environs is now a hotbed of traffic robbers, especially when the police are not around
I was robbed there when it wasn't dark. A guy just walked up to my mirror and was ready to yank it off.
I quickly asked him to calm down and handed N200 to him, with him asking what he would do with N200. I had to beg him.

That's where Uber beat Bolt hands down and the main reasons I hardly drove on bolt.

You dare not try this on bolt.

All the trips I have cancled are the ones riders did not show up after waiting for at least 5 minutes.
You need to have patience and not cancel requests anyhow. Uber riders used to be right on time when there was cancellation fee but not the case anymore.

If you calculate the time you will use in getting another request plus the driving time to the pickup and the extra time the next rider will use before getting out, you will see that your patience will be better. Also ask for destination to know if its worth waiting for the rider to come out.

You're 100% safe bro.
Even if you reject up to 90% of your requests.

The trick with uber is this, if the pickup time is much, 10mins upwards and you don't want to go on the trip, just let it ring out. They can never penalize for that unlike Bolt.

But if you accept a trip, please don't cancel. Try and complete it. But if you don't want to go on the trip and you've accepted already, let the rider Cancel.
Waiting on this means you will wait tirelessly. Only few riders cancel after informing them you can't go to their destination. They will simply tell you to cancel since you were the one that declined the destination.

pls help me attend to this oo.... make this people no go block me oo na only dem I dey manage for now and I dey ignore request wella but I no dey cancel trip.
Only accept a trip you are sure of completing on uber, because uber frowns against cancellation.
In essence, accept requests that are close to you not the 5km requests nor the 20 mins pickup requests.
Should incase you have to cancel any request, just make sure you drive to the pickup and cancel with any of the any reason that gives security reasons, like rider didn't use face mask, no place to park, can't find rider. Doing this does not affect your cancellation rate and you do not need to wait for 5 mins. Just cancel once it starts counting down.

Having low acceptance rate on uber has not stopped me from getting requests, maybe because there are lesser drivers.
Here you have screenshots from my profile.

When it doesn't show means no surge.
That multiplier is what enables drivers to earn more so try to be in areas where you see red tomatoes on our app and aim for long trips. Goodluck.
