Shey make I add my own 500 naira to that one?
Politics / Re: Governor Oshiomole's Wife Dead by Tunmi(f): 3:02am On Dec 09, 2010
If only she had made her suffering public, then cancer would at least have a voice in Nigeria. The illness kills many people, but it is all hush-hush. She could have pioneered something at least. Oh well, do rest in peace. I hope you were not one of the corrupt people in office.
Politics / Re: Wikileaks Cables: Shell's Grip On Nigerian State Revealed by Tunmi(f): 3:00am On Dec 09, 2010
Quote:
Nigeria tonight strenuously denied the claim. Levi Ajuonoma, a spokesman for the state-owned Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, said: "Shell does not control the government of Nigeria and has never controlled the government of Nigeria. This cable is the mere interpretation of one individual. It is absolutely untrue, an absolute falsehood and utterly misleading. It is an attempt to demean the government and we will not stand for that. I don't think anybody will lose sleep over it."

Even the Nigerian government wants to declare this as falsehood. Thank you Assange, and I remember the people who just yesterday, literally yesterday, were denouncing this brave muckracker.

That whole ministry needs to go, except Madueke and Akinyuli. The General Attorney, especially, and some judges need to go. And our constitution must be seriously modified with qualifications stated. Then, hire new people. People who actually went to school. In fact, hire professors with Masters and Ph.Ds.

And please someone deal with Shell. I know we can, if only we want to.
Politics / Re: Court Restrains Inec From Importing Ddc Machines by Tunmi(f): 7:01am On Dec 05, 2010
likeme:

What is the relationship between INEC and patent on a device(finished product). All INEC want is a finished product. A DDC. if the company is having issue with the infringement of his patent. He should got to patient court and sue the manufactures using his patent not the end user that has interest in a product.

It's like requesting for a cola drink that can quench thirst and Cocacola is sueing end user for ordering Zobo. A replica of cocacola.

That's exactly what this case is about. The plaintiff is only upset that it did not get the contract and INEC had to go abroad. If the company has an issue, the company should sue the other companies, not INEC for purchasing the product. The hell?
Romance / Re: She Refuses To Wash His Clothes by Tunmi(f): 8:01am On Nov 26, 2010
Ranoscky:

And he SCREWS her ALL NIGHT with what he covers with his undies that she refuses to wash, what about that? undecided

And she's screwing him with her undies. Is he washing hers as well?
Celebrities / Re: Superstar Mo'Cheddah: Hot Or Hot? by Tunmi(f): 7:51am On Nov 26, 2010
She's actually hot. I like her.
Celebrities / Re: Celebrity Guests At Mike & Keke Ezuruonye’s Star-studded Wedding. Rate The Pics! by Tunmi(f): 7:50am On Nov 26, 2010
Ini Edo
The material for her dress would better serve as a dress, not a pantsuit. Her hair is actually on point here. I would have preferred to see her face, but her glasses frame her face well. Next time, smile sweetie. She's lovely here, all except that outfit. That color and red do not work. You need a stylist, someone with an actual degree in fashion. It will do you well, I swear. The bangles are your saving grace here. See the girl in purple you're standing with, the material should have been made into that. That would've worked better. But, those bangles and shoes are hot.

Tonto Dike
I like her here. She lost some weight and she looks really toned. All she has to do is keep it up--hopefully she lost it appropriately. It shows, her legs look good. The dress is nice, I just wished it was longer. Her hair and face is lovely. Give the girl a break. However, the shoes and bag do not work. They just do not. The shoes should be darker or the bag should be lighter or the angle is not right, something is off here. But, I do like that dress and your sexy slightly-pouting lips.

The muslim couple
These are the best dressed. They know how to come to a wedding. The wife and husband complement themselves very well. Even the lady's purple purse fits here! Perfect color choice.

Uche Jombo
The weight loss looks good on her. She took care of herself and her skin. I love her hair and it suits her so well. She is my second favorite here because she is smiling! People, it's a wedding, not a funeral. At least take the shades off.

Ladies in pink and purple
Here is the problem with weave--heat! Head ties would have suit you all well. These are all gorgeous ladies regardless, and I see smiling faces!

Chioma Chukwuka
You are simply majestic. You are the best dressed single lady there, and apparently you learned manners: no shades indoors and a smile for the bride and groom's memories.
She is simply marvelous with the dark colored dress and light colored flower in her hair. It suits her well.

Julius Agwu & wife
They are the second best dressed couple. And a prime example of why Nollywood needs professional photographers. I want to see the rest of his wife's dress. He is smartly dressed and she is equally elegant.

Ngozi Ezeonu
I'm kinda iffy on the dress but your composure is remarkably attractive. That and your hair is seriously fabulous.

Emem Isong
I love your directing--your current work not the prior male-dominating pieces. But, please smile!!!!!! Chai! Genius no go take rest. Abeg. And try shorter hair, it might just work for you.

Stephanie Okereke
No, no, no, no!!! That dress is not for you at this place. It is a frock, and apparently you just dropped by from work. Come on! You can do better than this. I love the bangles, by the way. Your hair is on point but those shoes are NOT! They just are not working for you. Work with your height please and do not be afraid to show those legs. I expect better, maybe after toning your body perhaps. You look like you are going to Sunday School.

P-square
No shades indoors!!! You both are gorgeous and I love the dreads on the brother. And you're all smiles. What can I say, you're forgiven. Next time, let's see your eyes, please?
The suits are very gorgeous and a step away from the traditional black and white. It is refreshing.

Saheed Balogun
That the owner of this forum does not know you irks me. But, I digress. What is up with your face? Don't claim impetigo and stop bleaching. Your outfit begs question and I hope those are not jeans underneath. But you are smiling, just stop bleaching! We don't want another transformed Benita Nzeribe

Chick in Blue
I like the style of the dress, the material is just not working. It seems nylon and we know Mike and Keke deserve better. If only you'd smile, you look like you were forced to come to this party, kicking and screaming, might I add. Your purse and bag do match, next time, let's see them. You're tall, make it work for you. And visit the gym, or run, to tone those arms. Your hair is well done, by the way.

The suit lady-Ebube
I like the dress, I do. And it is the same length as Tonto Dike's, yet she gets flak for hers. I digress. You look gorgeous, for an office party. I want that jacket, or is it a top? It's gorgeous, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't scream WEDDING! And the shoes, if only you'd gotten a torquoise bag or torquoise jewelry (the ring is not enough). Babe, go color-coordinate in a corner please. The hair's nice!

Purple prom dress
I'm assuming there was a dress code for something purple. And you delivered, except it was not ironed or dry-cleaned. You're a really pretty gal, and you get major points for smiling, shades off! I say get some spine and own that dress and stop standing like a secondary school girl. Also, put your hair in a bun, the heat is killing it.

Guy in turquoise and pink
I like this color coordination. It works. Now, go give that suit lady some pointers. Might I add, your hair is amazing! I love the natural look and thanks for going shade-less in the blazing sun. Much appreciated.

Jude Okoye
No shades! You look superb, even with that hat. I like that hat, just don't see the point. Smile a little man, life is short. Again, professional photographer please!

Eucharia Anunobi & Guest
Ma'am, you are amazing. Your outfit and jewelry and astounding eyebrows are simply amazing. If only the photographer had done you justice with a full shot. The guest is equally dashing. Hair is presentable and a smile is ready. The two of you ladies are just beautifully dressed, Thank you! I would've gone with a different color purse though, Eucharia, kinda blends too much there.

Empress Njamah
You are awesoem here. Again the color purple (not the book) is a must. You did it well, except for the purse. I would have went with silver, and a more feminine watch. But you look fantastic. I love love love it! I miss you in movies, do come back.

Rita Dominic
The outfit is inspiring. I love it. I do, absolutely. I recommend some toning as well but you look dignified, and with the hair. Nicely done.

Girl in hot pink tube
The dress is a club dress but it works. It really does. Your hair is lovely, not smile! and strike a pose. You are dressed for a party, now look like you are.

Kate Henshaw-Nuttal
I love that radiating smile. I'm willing to ignore the business outfit you got on for that smile. It is beyond captivating even with shades on. Take the jacket off and you are good to go, also replace that laptop bag for something smaller. Even if you don't, you are still a perfect 10!

Muma G & Guest
Next time get a shorter hairstyle. I do like that outfit and you complement your guest's style. His hat needs to go though. Your smile makes up for it, I guess. At least you look sharp.

Lady in hot pink
You are hands down one of the best dressed here. The outfit alone blew me. I'd have went with a silver purse, but you somehow make it work. Your hair is not too intrusive and you are smiling. I also recommend some toning for that gorgeous body of yours. But you came prepared for a wedding and I salute you. Thank you!

Lady in white
Haven't you heard? It's rude to wear white to a wedding. And to wear a black netted hat and lace gloves. I like the dress but I could have done without the gloves and hat. If only your shoes had matched your wine-colored bag, What is this? Emo-punk-white-rocker! But you do have a smile,

Emeka Enyiocha & Wife
Did you get the memo? Emeka, I am disappointed. White shirt, brown pants would have been better. Your wife also is just a mess. Why so dreary looking? It's not a day to have a picnic, but a wedding. Re-do!

Emeka Ike & Wife
Emeka, where did the fashion sense go? This is a mess, like your namesake above. And your wife is equally on the same path. What is the sweater for? If we were in a cold country, say around fall season, like now, I'd like it. But it's hot! And the shoes and everything is just a mess. Re-do! And the both of you should hit the gym or job together.

Georgeous lady in sea-green
Now that's an outfit! Radiant face and an equally captivating appearance. I like it! And your figure is seriously envied. Please do have fun. You are definitely one of the best dressed here, and there are only few.
Celebrities / Re: Video: Genevieve Nnaji And Omotola Jalade Ekeinde Interview by Tunmi(f): 6:42am On Nov 26, 2010
If only I could hear what this interview was about.
1. Exercise is your friend. I don't need skinny celebs, just toned ones. Omotola, please keep fit.
2. Again Omotola. Your hair is a mess. I don't know if Genny's hair is hers or not, but it is nicely done. Get her hairdresser's number, please! Or display your natural hair.
3. Genny won this round. I don't see her discomfort. Omotola, on the other hand, was nervous. She needs to work on public speaking and articulating herself without the use of "you know." That just irkes me.
4. I love these two ladies.
Romance / Re: She Refuses To Wash His Clothes by Tunmi(f): 6:20am On Nov 26, 2010
Theblessed:

To some people here, it seems marriage is compulsory, is it? Perhaps, it's the 11th commandment, abi?. If one no marry,i go die  Marriage is choice and not forceful! You see, these ladies have chosen how they want to be married and people are here, ruffling their hairs out because of other people's choices and lifestyle.

The girls have made their points clear and everyone involved are going into these relationships with their 'eyes open'. So no one would say, I did not know, you did not tell me.  As you can see, this kind of relationship would not work for everyone here.

Obviously, the men with these ladies knew why they are still latched on to them when there are women who would give their arms for them, abi?

Inasmuchas their stance may seem unconventional to some, in every relationship, everyone is gaining something, else, they would chicken out in a flash, simple! You can't continue in a business you're not gaining something or making profit - that would be silly.

And, as for those who say they would not shop or carry shopping bags for their wives when out shopping with them, let me say this, in case you hadn't noticed - the world has moved on and you don't have to do so these days.

Why? Because, these days, most of our shoppings if not all, are done online (and you don't need to carry any more bags as we shop) and after shopping, the Supermarkets just drop off the bags at our doors, how about that? grin grin grin  You see, you don't need to worry about your elbow grease anymore, abi? wink wink wink

Let me say this, which ever way you look at it, the girls are honest they have put their own on the 'table' where's the guys? If anything goes wrong in these relationships in the future, blame the men because they went into it with their 'eyes open'.

Also, they shouldn't deceive themselves hoping, that these ladies would change once they are married because, they might not.

And if that's the attitude they are going to take, I suggest they have handy, their contingency plans should the girls decide to go 'solo' when shove comes to push because, they certainly would as they would not like to be in a stressful relationship whilst shouldering a demanding role at work. But, who wants to be in a stressful relationship anyway, not me---!

In a way, the girls are saying now, this is our 'pre-nup' if you want to get with me but, are the guys hearing it? No, the guys are not hearing it but they would, when the the honey moon is over.

These ladies have achieved every thing they need therefore, there's little a man can actually give them except 'Baby' which they can equally have from any where if need be e.g. any guy they fancy or even the spermatozoa bank, if they are so desperate. Am sure, they are not.  And the men need baby too, don't they? This is only to show the options the girls might take  should they have to.

So, please guys, search your hearts very well before engaginging into serious relationships with any woman not necessarily 'high flyers' because, when death is killing a dog, it prevents it from percieving the smell of faeces. grin grin

Thank you.
Oh my, Nigeria has turned to something else entirely. What is wrong with a woman knowing what she wants and what she doesn't want. She's not washing his undies, I'm assuming by hand. So? Are you going to be living with them? A wife is not a maid, but an equal partner. And the machine is available.
Politics / Re: Minimum Wage: Delay In Implementation Provocative – Nlc by Tunmi(f): 6:12am On Nov 26, 2010
I hope this minimum wage is passed. I really hope so. If it doesn't, it is just sad, and the protests must continue
Politics / Our Rights And Freedoms by Tunmi(f): 5:25am On Nov 26, 2010
I'm curious, just how many people know the rights and freedoms guaranteed by the Nigerian Constitution? I know these are similar to that of the United States, but could you list them please. Here in the United States, citizens pride themselves on knowing these rights.

And I'm assuming the current Constitution in use is the one from 1994. So what are my rights as a Nigerian?
TV/Movies / Re: Suggest Me A Nigerian Movie Please by Tunmi(f): 5:33am On Nov 24, 2010
I would suggest Letters to a stranger, Magun, and Saworoide. The last two are yoruba movies with subtitles.
Politics / Re: Video Of Alleged Assault On Actress Ufoma Ejenabor by Tunmi(f): 8:03am On Nov 19, 2010
I love this woman. She stood up to the police and she's getting attacked for it. Stupid Nigeria mentality. She had every right to be angry and I am so glad she expressed herself well. I'm tired of people just taking whatever is handed to them.

I really don't see any ugliness here. If anything, she looks exotic and couture. She looks gorgeous
Politics / Re: Gay Nigerian Activist Bisi Alimi Shares His Compelling Story by Tunmi(f): 7:08pm On Aug 22, 2010
One would think that Nigeria with all it's problems that urgently need fixing will butt out of people's private affairs. If not, Nigeria will just have to get used to losing more of its best and brightest.
Celebrities / Re: Nollywood’s New Look – E4 Pr Stars – Females by Tunmi(f): 12:30am On Aug 22, 2010
This woman does great makeup, now if only we could get someone to do their hair properly--either naturally or with a curling iron or tracks. As long as it looks decent.
