From what I have been reading in Quora.com and other blogs, making friends in Germany can be hard especially in the beginning. But let's not get discouraged. Instead, let's get each others back.
On this note, if you are going to Saxony state which includes :
Leipzig Dresden Cottbus Chemnitiz
Pm let's form a group and help each other settle well in Saxony. Other people going to East Germany:
Berlin Postdam Magdeburg Halle
can join the group as well.
Note: All these cities are not more than one hour from each other by autobahn |

rolorolo: Really? Did you see the part where the VO said has savings? Funny enough, I applied alone. He mentioned that I applied for TRV with family. That was in 2016. I have been to Canada before with my family. Besides, the brother referenced in his concerns was very wrong as my co-sponsor is my sister and I presented my birth certificate and hers to proof that we share the same parents. I feel the VO did not review the file thoroughly as what he mentioned as his concern is not a reflection of my application. The person was quick to conclude and with even wrong information which is not reflective of my profile. You are right. Those Nairobi VOs are doing poor job. They don't seem to look at the application well. This is not the first case |

I Hello ma From your GCSM notes, I don't think you have any problem with your finances. Seem to me that this is a problem of SOP. You did not convince VO why you should be going for MBA at this point considering the responsibility of taking care of 3 children. Did you explain to him why you choose Canada and not Nigeria? Why you would incur so much expenses (you and 3 kids) just to get MBA? Finally, how would you apply it when you come back to Nigeria? You need to explain these things and be as specific as possible and with facts and proofs. Finally ma, with your work experience, you may want to check Express Entry option. My one cent though |

makano: Long post! Hello house, My SOP is a 12 page document which I know is many. But the reason why this pages r many is cos apart from the normal procedure of writing an SOP, I farabale wrote down points to tackle my previous refusals. Please note I have been refused twice with four reasons each and this is my 3rd application, and I don't wanna be refused the thrid time that's the reason why my SOP is this many. Now to my question, 1. should I leave the SOP like that cos I don't think I wanna remove or delete any sentence from my SOP. Or I should just split it into 2 parts. I.e SOP and LOE.(I know they r both similar). My plan is to write ma SOP and then write ma points to tackle my previous refusals in my LOE. Ur input will be highly appreciated.. That's kinda too long. It could get boring. I will recommend you write how you tackled your previous refusal reasons in another document |

reichwolf: Actually my SOP and Dad's authorisation altogether is only 5 pages. The remaining 11 pages are scans of passport, visa stamps for other countries and payment receipt for first semester tuition.
The fact is that I want to ace this visa application. I'm so tense these days. But I rest my faith in GOD. Hello sir. I feel you don't know what SOP is or you are not using the right words or arranging them well. It seems like you are referring to your entire supporting documents as SOP. SOP is just the ESSAY part. From this your last post, it seems it is only 4 pages. Others ones you are talking about (visa stamps, receipts, passports) are not SOP. Instead, they are supporting documents. |

Just make sure you explain why the third party choose to sponsor you and his overall interest in your education. A third party sponsor will need to show commitment by paying upfront your one year tuition and living expenses. |

CuteLexy: Thank you, is that total for the complete duration of study? and i suppose that the sum of the tuition fee , room and boarding fee and others must be less than the funds available, right? To get total fund available, you need to add your tuition for first year + plus one year living expenses and any other fund available. You are only expected to show fund for the first year only and not for entire duration of the study in case your program is more than one year. |

xzile: Bros forget those Grammer. If you intend going for paper route then forget adding any picture. In fact let me share my experience. There was this important picture i believe would have helped my application but unfortunately i was asked to remove it of which i did. But after they cross checked my documents and handed the folder to me. On my way to biometric i put back the picture picture into the folder and after about 30 mins it was my turn for biometric. The first question the biometric guy guy asked me was what i was searching the folder for. I was surprised but i know i must have been picked by cctv so i was honest and he asked me to remove the picture. Adding pictures is a big NO at VFS. Anyone who really wants to add pictures should go online route. |

CuteLexy: Hi guys, thanks for this thread its has been very helpful. Pls i have a question as regards to the study permit questionnaire IMM5832E. the one with 19 pages. I cant seem to fill it on the computer , am i supposed to print out everything and write manually? Pls i need clarification from those who did physical submission. and also what is the criteria i need to consider before putting a figure for "room and board fees" and "others" ? Thank you. You only need the last two pages which you will fill with a pen. I think room and board is your living expenses (at least $10,000 CAD) plus any other available fund. |

Uchboggy: Please assist with answers , I’m pleading 1. Bro, CIC doesn't request for medical insurance for visa application. You don't need it. 2. Study leave isn't a strong homepie. If your company can do without you for duration of your studies, you can as well find a better job. Sometimes, depending on the length of your study, study leave can cast a doubt on your application. If you have another more convincing hometie, go ahead and add it |

Which one is most important among them all cost I only want to do one as my home tie deed of gift, survey plan and evaluation of property Well ma, it is like this: you need Deed Of Gift or Deed of Transfer to be a legal owner of land before you do Survey Plan. You can't do Evaluation of Property without survey plans. So you see, they are important. But Deed of Gift or Transfer and Survey Plan will suffice |
