npmi: Someone told me that Nigerian ladies abroad hardly see Nigerian men to marry them, travelling out as a single lady is not good, please is it true? This is not far from truth. I know one Ghanaian girl on scholarship who is eager to finish her studies and go back to Ghana to find husband. However, each person has his or her own path in life. Don't be afraid to choose your own path. |

Kenechill: Wow this thread is a mix of pain and happiness. I pray none of us goes through this stress. God bless lacuna and the rest of us all. Amen. We must all go to this Germany. Na aha Jesus! No bro. This thread is actually a thread of happiness. At least 85% of people on this journey here ended with a success story. If you want to see pain, go to Canada student thread or USA student thread, you go weep. Never give up |

sugaDaddy: Please, Gurus in the forum, I need a "little" help concerning a particular requirement for my application. I'm planning on applying for Masters in University of Bremen (Global Governance and Social Theory), but after going through their requirement page, I am a bit unclear on whether TOEFL/IELTS is required by them. I emailed the school concerning this particular issue but haven't gotten any reply yet.
Please, if any body here can help me better understand/ clarify this requirement I'll greatly appreciate it. Thanks
P.s, I've been silently following this thread for years so I understand the basics and procedures. I just want to get better clarification on this. God bless When you are in doubt whether a school request TOEFL or not for admission, always assume they need it especially when you have not get response after mailing them. If you have the money, go ahead and write it. It will boost your chances. Alles gut. Vielen Dank |

enocholumide: Who said you cannot finish with first class in Germany?
Yes you can, not that it really matters anyways, but you know how it goes. Your skills and papers speak for you in Germany.
Over two years ago, I was a silent reader on this thread, full of valuable information, kudos to the creator of this thread. You guys are changing lives.
For the new comers and the guys in the middle of their masters here, just know everything is possible. What you put in is what you get - garbage in, garbage out.
I'm here to encourage you to " risk been seen in all of your Glory ". Never give up, but ensure you put your best or don't do it at all.
There are plenty things to say, but the post is getting rather too long. I'm sure you understand what I mean - YOU CAN BE WHATEVER YOU WANT TO BE - TAKE YOURSELF VERY SERIOUS - NO ONE CARES.
With greetings and warm regards.. Thank you for making Nigeria proud and thank you for this wonderful and insightful piece. |

Iheuyo: Had interview on 28th August, yet to get AM. School is Uni of Gottingen. I have sent a mail to Alien office and yet to receive a response for over a week. The embassy in Lagos has said they haven't gotten feedback from the alien authority. Any ideas what else to do? You've done what you supposed to do, keep on trusting God. If your enrolment is around the corner , you should consider asking them to extend it for you. You may need to prove to the Alien office/embassy that you can still meet up with your enrolment. |

The embassy had to call me to come and pick up my documents since UPS is not a serious company, I don't think they are efficient with their operations there. So my advice is to please always use DHL. Thank you guys. Congratulations..... You are very lucky - quick AM and quick stamped passport |

joshuaarmani2: I've dreamt of a day like this where like others I will post what you're about to read below.
The journey started in May last year but was truncated when I wasn't able to get an appointment with the consulate.
In December I got appointment date but admission letter was delayed and that also was lost.
April this year I applied to several schools and got early admission in June, and interview date for August 16th. I funded and the interview went alright... (by the way it's the lady on dread that interviewed).
After 4weeks and 1 day. My AM arrived. 7:13am... While in still on my bed. Lol.
All thanks goes to Jehovah for His undeserved kindness.
Thank you to all who have helped me in one way or the other... Wishing you all the very best.
City: Kaiserslautern Interview date: 16th August Funded before interview AM: 17th Sept . Congratulations bro |

Dutch2018: 1) Please is 3 pages MOL acceptable? I typed in my laptop, it was 2 pages but when I wrote it out with hand it exceeded.
2) Can someone please throw more light on the passport spec. I know it's 45mm by 35mm. I couldn't find in the thread where someone was explaining the percentage the head should cover and other details. I want to take my passport photo today. 1. Yes, it's ok 2. Type "German visa passport specifications" on Google and then click on images to see samples. Your face should fill 3/4 of the entire passport. |

happystep: Don't worry about it most States in Germany will allow you extra 6 months or more after school. If you find a corporate job then they will allow you more time. However you need not worry about anything other than getting to Germany. Motivation letter is one or two pages. Some people/agencies prefer hand written than typed but don't use hand written if you're not confident your hand written is well over eligible and Wow. Motivation letter for German Student Visa MUST be handwritten........ Take note |

Reichtum: I have 2 challenges now;
1) Has anyone here been questioned about place of employment. I want to retain my employment status in my CV, though I've resigned since last year.
2) I booked my visa appointment using Abuja address(I am in Abuja) and I was given Lagos. Will it be ok if I use a prepaid envelope with Lagos address? DHL Prepaid envelope for Abuja is N7200 since I want to spend some time I Lagos. 1. They will probably not ask you about your current employment . 2. You can address your courier envelope wherever you want to |

heybaby12: Below is my story:
All the people I did interview with (including yobaby)had gotten their AM except me. I started playing back my interview checking what went wrong. But to build my faith for every week AM didnt come i went out to purchase items i needed. On the 4th week i got my box and started packing, on the 5th week i paid for my accommodation and bought a few warm cloths. I planned on buying ticket on the 6th week but cos of bible school i couldnt and said i would buy on Saturday. But as God would have it, while inside bible class during our 1hr break I took my phone to check for ppl that have gotten AM today. Next thing I saw my AM had arrived by 10:42 Am.
Glory be to God. With all the k legs he saw me through
