No they don't. They are not in a hurry to allow you into Canada. instead, they are more interested in verifying your claims as long as it takes.

I told my uncles living in Canada and they told me to go for a diploma or certificate program instead. I have made my research about different schools and I have seen some colleges and universities I can apply to for a diploma degree in GIS.

Why not call their international admission desk or write to them, they will be more than happy to give you more detailed update on your application.

Moreover, most universities/colleges make admission decisions for international students between Feb and March, so you are still safe

In this age of digital revolution, it will be highly unlikely for embassy not to save any information you submitted on cloud. Even the so-called manual application will still be scanned and save on cloud to make it easily accessible and also to save space.

However , no one here can tell you if VOs compare the files you submitted against the older ones. Only VOs have that information and I'm not sure if any of us here is VO. I doubt he will divulge that info even if he is here.

The only way to be safe even in court is to stick to your original story. I guess that rule also applies in visa application.

I received my trv today. I want to travel end of this month but I'm worried that I might have issue at airport in canada because my university resumes in september. Can I enter Canada 7 months before my uni resumes I'm just going early to acclimatize with the weather and culture etc .

This sound like a big risk. Since you can't work legally until school resumes, they will be eager to know what exactly you will be doing for the 7 months.. ... This adventure will be screaming "ulterior motive " to them.

You can apply to just one university and get admission. Alternatively, you can apply to 3 and still get rejected in all 3. You have a good GPA, as far as you put in good application, no need to worry. However, no one here is in admission board and therefore don't know your chances of getting admission. But for your peace of mind and to increase your chances, go ahead and apply to the 3rd school.

Nigeria has 19 weeks study visa processing period. It's your 10th week, so you are still within the processing period. Nothing is wrong with your application.

Did you request for your note from the embassy? Please note it does not come from Embassy but from independent organization affiliated to CIC. In any case, it takes 30 to 40 days to arrive.
