LordTrezy: I submitted my application on Monday, paper route and school resumes on 1st of May. Please how long does it take the VO to decide. Do they consider the school resumption date? No they don't. They are not in a hurry to allow you into Canada. instead, they are more interested in verifying your claims as long as it takes. |

henrymor: Hi fam,
Thank you for your great work here. Pls I have another question o.
After looking for different schools where I can continue as a graduate student (Master's), all effort has been abortive. Since my GPA is not strong (3.28 or 5).
I told my uncles living in Canada and they told me to go for a diploma or certificate program instead. I have made my research about different schools and I have seen some colleges and universities I can apply to for a diploma degree in GIS.
Please, how visible is this journey I am about to embark on. I want to start applying next week for September resumption.
Also, I want to know about the fees. If the tution fee is $9k is it the exact amount I need to have inside my account or I need to have additional amount of money?
Can I use a cooperative organization I am running as my sponsor?
I will appreciate answers from you all.
Thanks To boost your chances when applying for PGD, make sure you apply to university for PGD instead of college. Apply only for 2-year program or more |

Kinfinity007: I applied to fanshawe college since Jan 26, and till now I haven't received any offer yet. Hope I am safe? Why not call their international admission desk or write to them, they will be more than happy to give you more detailed update on your application. Moreover, most universities/colleges make admission decisions for international students between Feb and March, so you are still safe |

shaddy1k: Hello Seniors, please I wll like to find out if ones CV info is kept by the embassy when the person is refused student visa on a number of reasons including a persons employment situation. I want to know if they keep to compare with a new CV w in case the applicant applies again. Thank you. In this age of digital revolution, it will be highly unlikely for embassy not to save any information you submitted on cloud. Even the so-called manual application will still be scanned and save on cloud to make it easily accessible and also to save space. However , no one here can tell you if VOs compare the files you submitted against the older ones. Only VOs have that information and I'm not sure if any of us here is VO. I doubt he will divulge that info even if he is here. The only way to be safe even in court is to stick to your original story. I guess that rule also applies in visa application. |

JOSHCANADA: hello gurus in the house,
I received my trv today. I want to travel end of this month but I'm worried that I might have issue at airport in canada because my university resumes in september. Can I enter Canada 7 months before my uni resumes I'm just going early to acclimatize with the weather and culture etc . pls advise me.. I dont want to go there and get turned back at the airport. I'll cry because of the transport money lost and disappointment.
I need a guided advice pleaseeeeeeeeeeee.
Thanks people This sound like a big risk. Since you can't work legally until school resumes, they will be eager to know what exactly you will be doing for the 7 months.. ... This adventure will be screaming "ulterior motive " to them. I stand to be corrected though |

vibrant99: This was written for @Frankrobbn1 People can be funny. Why are you calling out names? If great and consistent contributors like @Frankrobbn1 don't share their views and opinions, people like you will start begging for someone to reply your posts. It is not easy for someone to make out time to contribute to this forum. You don't have to follow what they said. You can always scroll past their post. If people like @Frankrobbn1 and Co don't contribute to this forum, this forum will die natural death. You only picked him out because he has been consistent lately in contributing to this forum. I know some contributors to this forum who have stopped contributing because people kept calling them out like this. Don't discourage people please. @Frankrobbn1, don't be discouraged please. Kendorn: Hello House, I applied for admission into University of Manitoba for M. A programme in General linguistics with a Cgpa of 4.18 and equally applied in Memorial University Newfoundland and Labrador for same Course. My question is what are my chances of getting admitted into any of the two Institutions or should I better still apply in One more institution and wait for the School response. Thanks. House please help me ooo, Am new to the forum and I really want to Secure admission. You can apply to just one university and get admission. Alternatively, you can apply to 3 and still get rejected in all 3. You have a good GPA, as far as you put in good application, no need to worry. However, no one here is in admission board and therefore don't know your chances of getting admission. But for your peace of mind and to increase your chances, go ahead and apply to the 3rd school. Good luck |
